I hadn't owned any transformers toys in quite a while, but a combination of getting toys for my son and watching Emgo on YouTube inspired me to build my Decepticon army. I really love all of them. Barricade, Apeface, and Skytread are on the way to join them soon!

That Mandarake box FINALLY have shown itself after 3 MONTHS of waiting! Damn COVID bullcrap.

And those Amazon.JP boxes finally have shown themselves after... 5 days of waiting... Damn their DHL deal is insane.



From Mandarake, Generations Ratbat. Because having the glorious old Cybertronian senator before he got nerfed into a cassette bat is pretty damn awesome. Plus, Legends Greatshot. Sixshot is boring, but Greatshot is glorious all over. Plus the fact that it's a headmaster, faithful to the fiction, make it superior to the super rare G1 original.

From Amazon.JP, I got the Studio Series Bonecrusher and the Movie Masterpiece 2007 Megatron. Even factoring in taxes and shipping, I paid literally less than 50% of what I would have paid if I would have bought the same things at full price from Toys R Us! I couldn't say no to that deal.



I'm not opening anything tonight though. It's way too hot right now and I'm dead tired.

Still looking forward to open them. But I'll savor each and every boxes.

Well they finally arrived today, the Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus (both rid 2001) duo I bought from ebay for £15. Made a check list of parts they need to complete them... No idea where I'm going to source some of these parts.

Missing Primes little gun, three tyres and his missiles. Ultra Magnus is missing five tyres, his left four fingers, his front grill, his back doors and of course, his gun

Decent tires will probably be the hardest thing to find, they tend to dry out and split at the seam. I have 5 Primes (3 original, 1 Universe, 1 Encore) and three Magnuses (1 original, 1 Universe, 1 Encore) and all of my originals and Universes have at least one tire ready to fall off and just clinging to the rim. They just dry out and shrink and can't hold together. I don't know if anyone makes repros, I've never seen any.

So far my searches have yielded two listings on eBay (shipping from the Netherlands) of Ultra Magnus smaller tyres, four each. One of them did have a broken tyre which isn't so much of a problem as I only need three of the smaller ones any way. The bigger ones are proving more of a problem.

My X-Brawn arrived from ebay today, and he's a fantastic little guy, I love the asymmetric nature of his robot mode, he'll be right at home in Ultra Magnus alt mode.

Just be careful with him. He's not as bad as Prowl, but there's still some ill-advised use of clear plastic.

I think I found the parts to be careful on, some very tense moments. Does his redeco share the clear plastic in those areas?

Yesterday I was finally able to find Netflix budget Skywarp Hotlink! Definitely looking forward to customizing this guy. Now I just need to track down a Starscream to complete the seeker trio.

I finally got my hands on an Armada Downshift. And I had to crack up at the envelope, because seriously. Must have been the only on the seller had handy. Anyway, with this I finally have the complete Skyboom Shield.

That Ratchet is pretty good. Drift, his paint is nice, but mine just wasn't very good. Not my favorite SS figure, down towards the bottom

Unfortunately in the case of Ratchet, I did something I never did before and will never do again, ordered from an Ebay seller from China. I'm pretty sure this was a factory reject. His right knee is misaligned where the screw is. Also, while sealed up top, the package was clearly opened from the bottom. Time to file a claim.
