Nemesis Primal wrote:As expected, Impactor looks better in actual photos than he did in the render. The head looks a lot better and his orange looks less yellow, which were basically my only complaints. Interesting that the copy of him they displayed appears to be missing both his shoulder cannon and the paint apps on his tank treads/plow.
On a similar note with Prime, his arms are painted blue on the figure displayed in robot mode, but aren't on the vehicle mode one, and the copy of him in vehicle mode is missing his shoulder armor. Those seems like weird oversights, what color will his arms actually be? Red would match G1 Prime, which they seem to want to make this figure still function as, and the sample from the video review had red arms, but blue would match with Cybertron/Galaxy Force Prime...also they painted the middle segment of his light bar, yay!
No sign of Mirage, interestingly enough.
Red Alert definitely does NOT have the same gun as Prowl, there's no mistaking it now, the gun is a slightly different shape and the ports for the light bar are in different spots.
I'm going to wait until the end of the weekend at least to write a post analyzing the figure numbering like I keep doing, just in case more reveals of any kind happen, but I will say that where we're at right now we're still definitely missing figures, that much is certain (and I'm not talking about ones we know are coming like Barricade, Skywarp, and apparently now Astrotrain).

I'm thinking a reshelling of Brunt seems very likely.

Pre-order Price Guarantee! Order now and if the Amazon.com price decreases between your order time and the end of the day of the release date, you'll receive the lowest price. Here's how (restrictions apply)

Why wait?
Amazon guarantees the lowest price.
If the price drops when its released, Amazon charges the lower price, or refunds the difference in my experience.Amazon wrote:

Seems like you've already answered the question. I think I'll wait for a drop as well, $80 stings a little bit and that has nothing to do with perceived value. This line is already beating up my wallet as is.Ironhidensh wrote:Yeah, thats not what I meant. After release, either in a few weeks, or a couple of months, the prices on these large items always drop.Overcracker wrote:Why wait?Ironhidensh wrote:The question is, pre order now to get it right away, or wait for the inevitable price drop?

Cyberpath wrote:I'd wait for a sale, too.... buuuut I want him right now, can't even wait the five months. He'll be posed on the table while I watch Fire in the Sky, Fire On The Mountain, A Plague of Insecticons, and Day of the Machines. (I hope Hasbro's not reading this forum. If you are, I'm just kidding, I can wait! )
Omega Superme looks cool. But I just don't have the space for him, no pun intended. If he will go on a significant sale I might work something out.
Oh dear. "Omega Sperm".Cyberpath wrote:Omega Superme

Gee, a toy that you yourself can play with instead the toy doing the play work for you by itself. Whodathunkit?SciFi80sGameFan wrote:I still can't get a definite answer: Is it motorized? If not, it's gonna look kinda dumb if it's not able to go around it's own tracks in tank mode. That would be so preschoolish if you have to push it around the track. And I think it's pretty foolish to see 40+ year old men (because really children can't afford this - this is a toy for us 40 year olds) looking like preschool kids pushing cars around tracks. Choo-Choo anyone?

All electronics in modern lines have focused on lights and sounds, not so much on propulsion (that would have added some pretty bucks, motors can be quite pricey).
