I bet that in Canada, Sideswipe, Deadend, and Mirage will follow the same fate as Velocitron's Shadowstrip and Crasher. No appearance on Walmart.ca whatsoever, barely any presence in stores, and the only way to get them is to pay triple the price from some scalper.

I'm betting this is the case here in the states... I'm not holding onto any hope of getting Dead End (the only one I want).
And once I can't get him (I won't pay scalper prices), I won't get any of the G2 Stunticons.
Putting any of those guys into this Toxitron line was pretty poor form.

There is some hope for a Select G2 boxset. won't avoid some easy profits I'm sure.

Sideswipe is so shortpacked, he doesn't even appear on the Seibertron toy sightings page!

Dead End is the only one in this capsule. They are doing like they did with WFC Orthia: only the true hardcores will go for this, and they know it.

Things look grim for my last minute order of Cloudcover...

For all of the G2 figures on Pulse I ordered the first batch of three in one order and the remaining four in another order. Yet the first three are being shipped individually since they're Pre-orders and the the later four are shipping together because they were in stock. Pulse is so weird.

Mine shipped just like that. Supposedly the first 3 arrive tomorrow, and the last 4 arrive Saturday.

I guess Bruticus and Superion sold way better. Either CW Menasor was less popular than the rest, or it was somehow over-produced and overstayed its welcome.

Mine shipped like that too based on the separate emails from Pulse, but all 3 pre-orders came in the same box. They just arrived today.

Interesting. I got individual shipping notices for each one, but now that I've doubled checked, Jazz shipped on his own, Toxitron and Cloudcover are together and then the final four are together. FedEx is going to love being here Thursday through Saturday it seems...

Those sets also went down pretty hard. I remember just passing on a $50 Bruticus, and Superion was also $30 alongside Menasor at one point.

People seem to forget that the combiner giftsets ALL went on clearance, and the G2 ones particularly went on deep clearance.

I am keeping those 3 since I like them (Sideswipe for my set collection, Deadend in the hope of a G2 set that may never fully materialize for me and Mirage since it's a mold I don't have), but if you want laser cycle, I don't really need him anymore and can sell it to you at the same walmart cost like the other times I picked up toys for you.

For me it was Computron and Victorion. Each of those gift sets were discounted to $50 on Amazon, but I passed. Now they sell for more than retail even used, and are several hundred dollars new, if you can find them. I ended up getting UW Computron instead, which is arguably better, but even at that time it was much more expensive.

G2 Superion and Menasor also turned up at T.J.Maxx for $40 (funny enough I made that sighting first and you were the one that wrote about it) outside of its normal market and also Hasbro Toy Shop was one of the ones that had them for $30.

Nah, I have a Legacy Arcee and having one of the very average mold is enough. I'm mainly looking for Sideswipe.

I ordered G2 Grimlock from Kapow Toys here in the UK.

All of my figures arrived yesterday save Grimlock!



Some thoughts:

Laser Cycle Jazz is neat, I consider her to be lemon-lime flavored Jazz. I like this mold for the G2 Road Rocket crew, I think those 2 came out the best.

Sunburn Jazz is also nice, though i can't seem to figure out how to make the shoulder launcher work without it sticking really far out the back. I love the colors on this one, and the fade is well done. I like this much better than the OG Jazz.

Dead End is nice to have, he's my favorite Stunticon, so it's nice to have him. I wish he had some more paint on his legs though.

value store sunset shirt Sideswipe is also really nice, and I love the yellow to blue fade, really well done. He's also the only one I've put to car mode so far.

Watermelon Gator Mirage is also really cool, though mine has a little bit of stiffness in the knees. I love these colors so much.

Cloudcover is neat, I think he's the most mediocre of the set because his colors for the most part aren't really obnoxious.

Toxitron is interesting, I was not really into the mold when i got it as RiD Scourge, but in these colors I like him more? maybe the tolerances are different too, but I like him much more. I also pre-ordered the upgrade kit, so he can be all weaponed out.
