RID 2015 Scorponok > Kingdom Scorponok
Totally agree. I pulled out TRU Paralon (I also have Adventures Scorponok) earlier this year and he's still a fun figure that's solid in both modes and makes for a better update than the Kingdom version. My only complaint is that I wish his colors were more varied and he's a robot scorpion rather than made to look like a real one. Then again, the original BW Scorponok is better than the Kingdom version, they'll have no problem selling the reissue. There's an idea for a top 5 list, "5 Modern Updates that are Worse than the Original".

So would Cheetor and/or Sky Lynx still be on the list if you made it today? Would ER Sky Lynx take him off the list completely and be replaced by BW Scorponok? Would Kingdom Cheetor push him further down or off completely?
Edit: Interesting that new figures can both take a character out of the running, or make them eligible for the list that didn't have an update previously.
Emerje wrote:Yeah, I think that whole list could use a second look. Fort Max probably still deserves the top spot, but I think Megatron and Sky Lynx can come off, maybe Cheetor, too, and I feel like we can do better than Tankor since both figures were doing entirely different things.

Things are ramping up over here on Transformers! We missed #TransformersTuesday, so Transformers THURSDAY it is! Check out the last 3 toy reveals for War for Cybertron: Kingdom – Deluxe Autobot Slammer, Deluxe Autobot Pipes, and Voyager Autobot Blaster and Autobot Eject. All figures COMING SOON to retail, so keep your (eyes emoji) peeled.
Autobot Pipes is a partial tool of Huffer and is based on his G1 animation appearance featuring all-new head, waist, chest, tires, forearms, shoulders, and accessories. This figure converts to mini truck mode and comes with 2 pipe blaster accessories and a newly tooled cartoon-accurate head. The back cab even allows you to show off his Autobot emblem.
Autobot Slammer is a heavy partial of Ironworks, featuring 5 new tools! This figure is based off the original 1986 Slammer toy that came with G1 Metroplex and converts to his classic tank mode. Autobot Slammer is also a weaponizer! Break the figure apart to equip other figures with missile launcher, chainsaw, and turret blaster accessories.
Autobot Blaster is inspired by his animated appearance in the G1 series and comes with his cassette tape, Autobot Eject. Autobot Blaster converts to boombox mode. The figure features detailed sculpt on the speakers, mini jetpack sculpt on its back, and side-to-side articulation on the front shin speakers. The Autobot Blaster figure’s finger is extended to press his spring-loaded eject button and automatically pop open his tape deck! Autobot Blaster comes with his classic electro scrambler blaster that Autobot Eject can hold.

william-james88 wrote:Fans were wondering when Hasbro would reveal the remaining figures from Kingdom (or if they were still happening) since they were missing from the big Hasbro Pulse event that introduced us to the Legacy line.
Well, Hasbro has now revealed what they say are the final 3 toys from the Kingdom line: Deluxe Autobot Slammer, Deluxe Autobot Pipes, and Voyager Autobot Blaster
These do not have preorders but Blaster's release in Legacy can be preordered on various sites since he is part of the wave 1 voyagers and comes packed with Bulkhead when purchasing the 2 voyagers option.

SS fans, you no longer have to feel alone in that the highly anticipated next/last wave of your favorite toys is just dumped randomly on Social Media, now Kingdom gets the same treatment (although to be fair Blaster was revealed a few weeks ago on a privileged fans call).
So these being the "Last" of Kingdom meaning I guess there is no WFC-K36, or WFC-K43.
I know the Reformatted Galvatron doesn't have Kingdom Branding (It is just WFC "Unicron Companion Pack"), but it could unofficially have been one of the missing numbers.
King Kuuga wrote:It's good to finally have these recognized. It seems weird to have Hasbro state outright that they're retools, usually they don't acknowledge that. I'll get them all and that'll do me for Kingdom.

Slammer absolutely shares Ironwork's thighs, but that's all I see.TF-fan kev777 wrote:King Kuuga wrote:It's good to finally have these recognized. It seems weird to have Hasbro state outright that they're retools, usually they don't acknowledge that. I'll get them all and that'll do me for Kingdom.
It is even more odd that they are claiming Slammer is a heavy retool Ironworks. I don't see a single part they chare in common and they definitely don't transform/assemble in the same way.
Could Hasbro be trolling us?
Autobot_Benz wrote:So Hasbro isn't gonna officially announce Tigatron. Just gonna ignore it like they did Shadow Panther and Waspinatior?
Rodimus Prime wrote:Blaster and Pipes are a most likely buy, I'm probably going to pass on Slammer, maybe pick him up later if there is an updated or brand new Metroplex coming in the next few years.
That Eject is going to be smaller than the Prime Wars Rewind was, right?
Wolfman Jake wrote:One of those might turn out to be the Earthrise Starscream repack we heard about all the way back when most of the retail Kingdom listings were leaked. We still don’t know who is shipping with Blaster in Voyager Wave 5 yet. Or, those numbers were set aside for Gears and Polar Claw before they were canceled.

Yup, way smaller

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

It's the theme of the line, everyone except Dragstrip comes with a clear accessory.

An accessory is one thing, this is an entire clear character.
I wish they would have just done a normal looking one and a different clear item.
