voice actor of Bumblebee from the Michael Bay
Transformers Movie, Mark Ryan, has started posting a
trivia competition on
his MySpace Page. The prizes to be won are a signed picture of the
movie actor and one of the highly sought after "Giant Fucking Robots Are Coming" T-Shirts.

Another interview with one of the stars of the
Transformers Movie has appeared on the net. This time we are allowed an in-depth look into the
movie voice actor of the Autobot Bumblebee, Mark Ryan.

We have received word from Titan Magazines about a signing that has not yet been announced officially. We were told the following:
"To celebrate the launch of Transformers comic, a special Transformers Comic signing is taking place on Saturday 1st September at the London Film and Comic Convention.
All I can tell you at this stage is attending the signing so far will be writer Simon Furman, artist Geoff Senior and editor Steve White. The Transformers Camaro (Bumblebee) as seen in the new movie will be on display as well."

Website Skewed and Reviewed has posted a very interesting interview with Mark Ryan, the stand-in voice actor during filming of the
Transformers Movie as well as the voice of Bumblebee in the film. In the interview Ryan discusses his work on the film, and hints at extra work on the DVD as well as a possible prequel to set up the next Transformers movie.

GVK: Final question, have you heard anything about a sequel or been asked to be a part of future films?
MR: (Chuckles), funny you should say that so I will tell you what I can. I recently recorded more material for the DVD release of the film. It has to do with the Prequel that will set up the second film.

But we also need to report on the lighter side and the more human side of the hobby, and remember it can never be taken too seriously, or in some cases it can...
I'm sure everyone remembers
Scott Nall, who in 2001, officially had his name changed to 'Optimus Prime' to honor his childhood hero. He is a member of the armed forces who served in Iraq, and is a very devoted Transformers fan. A hero very worthy of the name. (Check out an interview of Mr. Optimus Prime at Botcon
here.)
Well, O ptimus Prime now has his rival, Megatron to watch out for. July 2nd, Jason Michael Burrows went in front of a judge at a Seattle courthouse and legally changed his name to reflect his childhood hero, Megatron. Jason is as of Monday, legally named Jason 'Megatron' Burrows. See the article here at

So what will we see next from the fan base of this new summer blockbuster? Only time will tell when we see a Mrs. Starscream, and a Mr. Bee... Bumblebee.

Pingmag interviewed Transformers designer Alex Kubalsky, who is the sole foreign designer for Takarotomy in Tokyo, Japan. Alex has designed all the transformations for Transformers Classics Bumblebee & Mirage as well as the
Transformers Movie Real Gear figures.

Not many fans were aware of who Mark Ryan was a few months ago. All they knew was he would be providing the voice for Ironhide and Hoist in the
Transformers Movie video game. Recently we learned he would also be the voice of Bumblebee in the

Black Bumblebee dropped the news crew of Seibertron.com/news a line. He found a sample of Stan Bush labeled Transformers BotCon Theme (Till All Are One) on the site of
L.A. Records.
Unlike the more recent releases of Transformers tracks that have been rehashes of the Transformers theme, this is actually a rehash of the Ground Zero song performed for BotCon a few years ago.
