Allspark.com-
Just recently, Henkei Cyclonus was released in Japan, and online stores like site sponsor BigBadToyStore.com have been filling pre-orders, shipping out this fan favorite character. The Allspark has put up page scans from the included Manga featuring Cyclonus, Nightstick, Galvatron, Starscream, and host of Autobot targets for them.
You can check out the Manga gallery
here.
When comparing the
HASBRO Universe Cyclonus to the Henkei version you can see that the Henkei version features a color scheme similar to the cartoon colors, as well as, some chrome on Nightstick while the HASBRO version has colors that closer resemble the original Generation 1 toy colors. So there is a version for either deco that a collector might like to have.

Transformers fan site
OneShallStand.com has a recent interview with Shane McCarthy posted.
In the interview McCarthy defends his comic series to his critics, and discusses characters, as well as some choices he's made.
Q4) AHM is now a quarter of the way through and it's clear from postings on the various message boards that readers either love the new direction or are furious about it. I can't think of any other TF book I've read recently which has had such a polarising effect.
Well, since I was so late getting this interview to you, it's now halfway through so I'm guessing it's even more polarised now? I don't know. I think we've definitely found our audience though which is great. Not everyone is going to like everything and I hope that never changes. I think that's the beauty of how IDW is handling the license though, there's something there for everyone. If you're not a fan of AHM, there's the Spotlights and other mini series' you can grab and vice versa.
Clearly I'm hoping people enjoy the book though and always work to make that a reality.
You can read the rest of the interview
here, and join in the discussion.

Transformers comic writer Chris Mowry (Reign of Starscream) has updated his blog
The Full Mowry with a teaser as to what to expect from the soon to be released Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Prequel Comic Defiance.
Mowry has posted a few teasers of what to expect after fan-speculation of what to expect in the series was far from hitting the mark.
The series takes place before the events of the first TRANSFORMERS movie. It expands on the events from the first movie and this summer's sequel. If all goes well, it'll help expand upon the movie universe and set the stage for future stories as well.
Mowry goes onto discuss the conditions of Cybertron and some well known characters positions at the time that Defiance occurs. For more detailed information, make sure to head on over to
The Full Mowry.
Mowry also mentions that Don Figueroa will be in control of art for issue #3, as we
reported earlier.
A 5 page preview of Transformers ROTF: Defiance #1 has been posted at
Comics Continuum, also included are the two standard covers as well as the retail incentive wraparound cover. Check out the 5 page preview by
clicking here.
Transformers ROTF: Defiance #1 will be released in stores this upcoming Wednesday the 21st of January 2008. Chris Mowry is writing the series, with Dan Khanna and Andrew Griffith on art duties (with Figueroa on issue #3). Josh Burcham is on colours duty.
