Without a show airing now, the Rescue Bots toyline has become the Transformers Classic Heroes line. Same idea, same place in stores, and same molds for many of them (through rereleases) but Optimus Primal and Grimlock are new molds and the latest releases. If you want them in your Rescue Bots collection or as perfect presents for the youngest transformers fans (it is how I got my kid into Transformers), they are now available on Amazon. The links are below. We also have a review from Chuckdawg1999 of Optimus Primal so you can see how this guy looks in hand. The attention of detail and call backs for a "Rescue Bots" toy goes beyond that of previous figures, but then again this is the first mold which refers to a character that was not on the show and thus does not have a simplified animation model.

Fellow Seibertronian Chuckdawg has a nice surprise for us, a review of Authentics Wheeljack. This toy was recently found at Kroger stores in the US and is an affordable voyager sized figures for those seeking bigger figures for the amount of money they are spending. The new BotBots show on Netflix has been up for around a week and many fans have commented on the show. While it is obviously a comedy show aimed for kids and not older fans, the worst fans have said is that it's not for them, as any other kid show like Amazing World of Gumball or Teen Titans would not be for them (although there are links to the Movieverse in the final episode). But no one has said it was bad, quite the contrary. Here are some takes from the community:

My favorite funny moment has got to be when Kikmee increased Dave's robot-dinosaur order quantity to 1000 right before he was instantly charged for that many. I lost it at his tidal wave of panicked reactions.
I was also very surprised to see that there was an actual ongoing storyline with various plot threads continuing from episode-to-episode. The Lost Bots' quest to get back in good graces with the other tribes, Dave's attempts to uncover the truth of the BotBots' existence, Spud Muffin's gradual descent from arrogant jock to villainous schemer, all of these were given room to grow and develop over the course of the season. That really kept my attention and made me want to see where the story would go and what the payoff would be. Of course, the end result was predictable, but also apropos to the kind of message this show was trying to convey.
Overall, this was a fun show.

While the Target exclusive Buzzworthy Bumblebee deluxe Silverstreak (a blue redeco of earthrise Bluestreak) seems abundant in many stores, it still isn't the case for absolutely everyone. There's always someone looking for a way to order him online and this is your way now. You can get him on Hasbro Pulse right this second for $24.99 USD, which is the new deluxe price point.
DK-2 Guard is the only Transformers selects figure yet to be released in the US, but his release date of April 1st is approaching soon. In the meantime, he has been found in Canada, at Toysrus Canada but for a hefty price. Toysrus is selling this figure for $45 CAD. This is more than a 100% increase from the price of deluxes when Titans Return was in stores. This sighting comes from evenstaves over at Cybertron.ca. He is $24.99 USD, which is only $31 CAD, making that $45 CAD price from Toysrus truly nonsensical.

Vehicle mode is where Guard shines since the all-black deco blends better with the shoulder bits that stuck out on Earthrise Ironhide. Thanks to some posts by Seibertronains Crankcase79 and chuckdawg1999, we have a couple of video reviews for the newest Transformers Legacy core class figures. These reviews focus in on the Core class for wave 1, with Crankcase79 giving us a good long look at Iguanus, arguably the most anticipated Wave 1 Core Class figure. We then switch over to our old pal chuck, who shows us the entire wave 1 of Hot Rod, Iguanus, and Skywarp along with their combining weapon schtick.

Of course, the first figure released is Shockwave. Don't forget, Core Class is also meant to be a cheaper price point to get named characters into people's hands. Thanks to Seibertron user hiway7, we have notice that a new video review has been posted for the new Transformers Generations Selects Lift Ticket. Lift Ticket is the diaclone repaint of the Earthrise Hoist figure, which was released 2 years ago, featuring a red and yellow paint scheme complete with the Wrecker logo across the doors. Lift Ticket is currently coming in stock at Hasbro Pulse, and has either shipped out or will be shipping out shortly for those who preordered him.

Now you may have seen a new Starscream toy grace the shelves, and you may ask yourself, do I need this? Well, fellow Seibertron user, and toy reviewer, Chuckdawg1999 may have an answer for you! Or at least, give you a nudge towards a choice.
Coronation Starscream is a slight retool of 2020's Earthrise Voyager Class Starscream (which was redeco'ed and retooled to give us a host of other toys). The toy also includes a throne meant to represent Megatron’s chair from his ship, the Nemesis, as well as new accessories in the form of Cape and Crown.

The throne is really, really nice, but I think they could've done more to ensure that Starscream could fit properly in it. The big draw of the set is the cape, crown, and shoulder pads to make Starscream look his regal best. They attach well and I have to say, the special shorter Null Rays work better overall than the larger versions that came with the Earthrise version. If the set was $5 or $10 cheaper I'd feel better about recommending it. As it is, if you're not a die-hard fan of King Starscream this is an easy pass.
