Member shonenfan4 has found an eBay auction for Chara Hobby Show's Black ROTF Soundwave which gives us a clear image of it in package. As you can see it still keeps the traditional packaging style, right down to the blue Soundwave face on the package art.
This figure was first available at the Chara Hobby show that has just ended, and will soon be available in limited numbers at several of Seibertron.com's sponsors.
Actoys has posted additional photo images from 2009 Japan Chara Hobby Toy Fair.
This time we get to see more toy images, including the recent announced MP1B Convoy Black Version, ROTF Buster Optimus Prime, Chara Hobby Exclusive ROTF Soundwave Black Version, Alternity Black Megatron and many more.
There are also confirmation that some Constructicons, Combaticons etc beside the Encore Bruticus are just the prototypes during the design stage.
Toy World from Hong Kong has posted some new images of the upcoming Transformers toys from Tomy Takara at the 2009 Japan Chara Hobby Toy Fair.
Chara Hobby Toy Fair is a 2-day event, starting from today (29th August 2009) till 30th August 2009.
Thanks to Toy World, we can take a look at upcoming Disney Label Donald Duck, Halloween Disney Label Mickey as well as Device Label toys.
Encore Bruticus/Combaticons toys were also on display at the toy fair, interestingly the G1 styled Constructicon toys are also spotted beside the Combaticons. Speculation will surely mount whether the next upcoming Takara Encore will be the much-loved G1 Constructicons.
However, there are still no images of the Chara Hobby Exclusive, ROTF Soundwave Black Version, available to share at this moment.

Hi seibertronians, so Europe's biggest Transformers convention Auto Assembly 2009 has ended on Sunday. The event was located in the Holiday inn Birmingham city Centre.
Fun fact: Birmingham is England's second biggest city after London.
Fun fact number two: Auto Assembly is always in Birmingham.
This time the event was once more two days long well 2.5 if you booked the full weekend as that granted you access to the Friday afternoon and evening program, old G1 episodes, a fan dub and an exclusive screening of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen at the Odeon.
So Transformers fans from all over the UK, well Europe no the world meet up and had a grate time together.
The two guests of honour where: Gregg Berger (G1 Grimlock, Skyfire, Autback and Long Houl) and Ian James Corlett (BW/BM Cheetor). But they weren't the only guests, we had Nick Roche (Spotlight Kup, Maximum Dinobots), Jason Cardy (colourist), Kat Nicholson (colourist), Liam Shalloo (colourist, inker), Andrew Wildman (do we have to state the obvious? well OK, artist), Simon Williams (artist), Kris Carter (colourist), Staz Johnson (artist), Mike Collins (artist), Lee Bradley (artist), Lew Stringer (artist) and Jon Davis-Hunt (artist). All guests were grate and just fun to talk to and best of all just felt very at home at the con and where down to earth and just mingle with the fans. Simon Furman who is an Auto Assembly regular and is considered by many to be part of the Auto Assembly inventory could not come as he was at a marriage, but he did write a spiffy script for AA09's script reading, with Gregg Berger reprising his roles as Grimlock and Outback and Ian James Corlett reprising his role as Cheetor, Nick Roche as Beast Wars Megatron (yeeeeesss) and seibertronian Skullgrin140 as Waspinator (grate performance)! The script centred around Cheetor, Razorbeast and Dinobot meeting Grimlock and trying to stop Megatron's evil plan of destroying the multi-verse as we know it with the help of Outback and G1 Optimus Prime, the script was a bit of a self-mocking of Simon Furman.
There was also a concert of the young UK band Next of Kin covering many Transformers songs and a few of their own creations, a special of Irish singer Ray with his song "Unknown Transforming Robot"
Sorry for the bad quality had nothing but a phone.
I managed to take just a few photos although my phone had difficulties.
If you're interested in everything that happened and want to see the exclusive Saturday night program containing the script reading and concert you will be able to buy a DVD from Auto Assembly soon.
Got your own videos or photos to share? Then please do share them!
We have reported earlier that a large amount of Lucky Draw figures were shown off at Auto Assembly 2009, including our first good look at the Car Robots Black God Magnus. Transformers @ The Moon has posted an extensive gallery of this ultra-rare figure, as well as the first shots ever of him combined with Lucky Draw Fire Convoy.
