But to get things back on topic, I'm surprised no one's made a "Samurai Jack" joke about Wheeljack.

Yeah, but I would have liked to have him say something like "You should have called me to handle it," which would have led to some humorous "WE DID!"-esque reactions from the others.YRQRM0 wrote:Well Fowler understands that they HAD to steal it in the first place due to his absence, and they needed to get it before the cons (which they failed at).
Nah, there were only about two or three of those vehicles there. Devastator in this series is formed by about seven Constructicons, though tere's many more of them than that. If enough Constructicons come together, two Devastators can be formed at the same time.YRQRM0 wrote:Did anyone else think that the construction vehicles in Greece were gonna make Devastator for a second? That would've been insane!
I have a feeling that Knockout (and Breakdown) will play a role in accelerating Megatron's recovery. Had the Energon Harvester not been destroyed, I'll bet that they would have used it heal Megatron with collected energon.YRQRM0 wrote:But still, I love that Fowler had some practical use by bailing out Miko, and that we got two new characters and some great action. I am getting tired of the new characters dying and/or running away, I would prefer if the cast grew as time went on.

I wouldn't call this a "win" exactly. No one got the Harvester in the end. It would have proven very useful in Autobots hand just as it would have in Decepticon hands.SlyTF1 wrote:I do wish they would stop letting the Autobots win every episode. Again, another reason I liked Animated. No one was ever winning in that show. If the Autobots won an episode, the Decepticons had a back up, and if the Decepticons won, the Autobots had a backup plan. Here, the Autobots just win everything.
HOW DO WE KNOW THAT MAKESHIFT IS DEAD?!! WE HAVE NO PROOF THAT HE DIDN'T SURVIVE THAT SMALL BOMB'S EXPLOSION!!! Why, Megatron was at GROUND ZERO of the Space Bridge's explosion (which was 50 times BIGGER), and he still came out in mostly one (severely damaged) piece!SlyTF1 wrote:I'm just glad the 2 new Decepticons didn't die though; that's a first for this series.

I read about him in the Exodus novel. It's all the same continuity family and the makers of TF: Prime have stated to derive much of the material in this show from that book.YRQRM0 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Nah, there were only about two or three of those vehicles there. Wait, how do you know about Devastator? I know that that's kinda how it was in ROTF, but this isn's supposed to be the same series..

Good grief! We're only a few episodes in and already we're making such premature assumptions!

You do realize that they completed the first 26 episodes ages ago. They're currently working on the second season right now. They don't make these episodes and then air them immediately once they're complete. They make them well in advance to their airdate.SlyTF1 wrote:You want to know why it's taking 3 weeks for the next episode? I bet because they have to take all that time to render more than 4 Decepticon designs.

It's a term we've been using for years. Same with shortening "Autobot" to just "Bot."

One word........Pointless.
Get to back Megatron already. Enough with the story arc crap. I just watched 20min of something that does not progress the story at all. Now the writers are just jerking us around. I'm so tired of Megatron always being incapacitated in every frigging universe or series now. I don't see any reason to make so many filler eps. Good writers could come up with continuos connective stories from one ep to the next And not have to drag it out.
It's like if I talk really slow and say,
I..........have..........to...............go..............to................the..............store............today.
And saying that I have a lot to say.
Get to the point!
Starscream had the Harvester for a whole 3min and then it was destroyed and then he flew away. That's it?! All this waiting around all week for that? Waste of time. This ep was more about Miko's dumb book report than anything else.
10 episodes into this series already and I'm still waiting every week for the story to continue and pick up where it left off. Definitely my least fav episode. It's not even favored at all in my book.

Down_Shift wrote:I think you missed the point of the episode all together. It introduced two new Decepticons, which EVERYONE has wanted from episode 6 and it also introduced new lore into this series: Energon Harvesters. This sets up a story line as to why there were ancients there so long ago.
Plus it's for kids so you know it will go a little slower then older fans for the series would like so they can get into it. Looking back at Beast Wars, there were some pretty "pointless" episodes in there too.
NiteStar wrote:And kids are not dumb. I dont buy that anymore.
My 6 year old niece has a ipod touch and plays games on it, sends text messages and she can even get on a computer and search Youtube videos. My 8 year old little cousin can act and mimic everything he see on TV. Kids are smart and Its a Cartoon for crying out loud.
