Thanks to TFW2005 poster Toymachine, we now know that Transformers Cybertron has hit these shores. He spotted Scourge and Jetfire in his local Co-op in Glenrothes, Fife, Scotland.
As photograph proof he has provided pics of the reciept and box of Scourge.
See his original post

Don Murphy, producer of the upcoming Transformers live action movie, has given another one of his Sunday updates over on the
board of his
site. The following is an excerpt from his
post, related to how things currently stand with the movie.
"Roberto, Alex, Michael and Steven met to go over everyone’s notes and now the writers are hard at work on a rewrite- one that, since it will be further along I will feel more comfortable telling you about, I hope. The initial budget has gone in to the studio and there is now the inevitable back and forth about this and that to close the deal. The film is on track to Greatness.
Basically we are in the “in-between†place, just before Xmas too, as the various pieces of the movie work themselves out. It all feels good, but things need to coalesce before there is any meaningful news to discuss".

WildFur Productions, the company run by Simon Furman and Andrew Wildman, has updated their
newspage once again. The text below has been taken directly from their site.
"EXCLUSIVE BOOKPLATED DARK AGES TRADE ON TFAUCTIONS
At this year's Auto Assembly, Wildfur Productions unveiled ultra-limited, signed (by Simon Furman and Andrew Wildman) and bookplated editions of Transformers: War Within - The Dark Ages (trade paperback), which were duly snapped up like hot cakes on a cold winter's day. But, cunning entrepreneurs that we are, we kept back one or two copies to sell at a later date. Well, that later date has arrived, and one of these ultra-rare (signed/numbered/bookplated) trades is now up on the TFAuctions site, awaiting your consideration. What are still doing here, reading this? Get bidding before it's going, going, gone!
REVISTING... BEAST WARS
It seems everyone's chomping at the bit for more details on the upcoming (starting in February '06) four-issue Beast Wars limited series, 'The Gathering.' Well, we can confirm that the comic will definitely tie into the established TV series continuity, and in fact wraps itself around events circa the season three episode, 'Changing of the Guard.' But, curiously, the new cast (of non-TV show toy characters) are set never to actually meet their TV cousins. How is this possible, you ask? Well, let's just say that Magmatron, the villain of the piece, wants to do his dirty deeds on prehistoric Earth and begone, without so much as a ripple in time and space. Just wait and see how he manages that! What else can we reveal? How about the return of Ravage (in a kick-ass new Transmetal body), the mystery of the 'mutants' and the debut (in Beast Wars) of G1 Grimlock and Prowl? We spoil you, we really do. For more information go to www.idwpublishing.com
REVISITING... DEATH'S HEAD
Or, more literally, recreating Death's Head. For anyone who's been living under a rock for the past few months, Death's Head is back, in the pages of Marvel's Amazing Fantasy. The five-part 'Unnatural Selection storyline runs in issues #16-20 of that title, and features the return of A.I.M. (Advanced Idea Mechanics) and the recreation of Death's Head. Sadly, it's not everyone's favourite bounty-hunter (yes?) from the original comics and the UK Transformers continuity, or even the upgraded Minion version from Death's Head II (despite the A.I.M. connection), but a whole new character with a whole new set of (lethal) quirks. However, we're not ruling out the odd Death's Head lineage link or two, and it might be worth looking at this as less of a sequel and more of a prequel! Nuff said! The new Death's Head also ties into major events happening the larger Marvel Universe right now. The series kicks off this month, don't miss it. For more information go to www.marvel.com
WATCH OUT FOR...
Coming soon... updates/news on the Transformers (IDW) summer 'event' storyline, another Furman-penned series for Marvel and an incredible new UK-originated Transformers project, so secret that if we told you, we'd have to shoot you all! To know what's what, before others do, sign up for our advance newsletter here. You know it makes sense.

It has been reported that Paramount Pictures have struck a deal to buy DreamWorks, makers of the forthcoming Transformers Movie. The article reads:
Under the deal, Paramount would gain control of DreamWorks' live-action movie production operation and its relatively small, 60-title library, which includes such Oscar-winning movies as "American Beauty" and "Gladiator."
It also would give Paramount the worldwide distribution rights to all animated movies made by DreamWorks Animation, which was spun off last year to public shareholders and would not be part of the purchase.
It is not clear whether this will affect the making of the Transformers Movie, but there will certainly be some changes at DreamWorks over the coming year.

From
the following thread Seibertron posted this:
Please play until your heart's content today.
I modified HMW so I would be the only one who could access it to help me isolate areas that were of concern to me. The main index page of HMW that listed your recent Arena and Mission battles and news seemed to take a very, very long time for the page to load, especially since NO ONE other than me was able to access it. It was taking around 20 - 30 seconds for the page to load ... but only the first time that I visited that page. That's because the database is setup to cache queries ... so the more frequently a query is accessed, the faster it should process (in theory), until the server runs out of memory for caching queries in memory (at least I think that's how the memory cache works in theory).
After the 20 - 30 second load average occurred for 4 days straight, I decided it was time to remove those queries from the index page of HMW until Glyph or I have time to rewrite those queries to get your recent Arena and mission battles. Let's see how the game loads and how the server behaves with that functionality being turned off.
I have some other ideas for HMW as well, but I want to see how big of an overall difference this makes.
....................
Just a warning ... I'll be monitoring the server. If it acts up, I have to turn the game back off. Hopefully this won't be the case today. If any of you see Glyph on IM, please let him know that I did this so he can address a couple of the issues that I notified him about. Thanks.

TFormers.com has a small gallery up of the upcoming Cybertron Jetfire repaint, including an in-box image which confirms his new name: Sky Shadow! Names as "Spacewarp" (after the cancelled Armada Jetfire repaint for Universe) and "Octane" (after the Generation 1 Triplechanger he's colored after) were proposed, but apparently "Sky Shadow" won out. Since he's a Decepticon, the insignia have been resculpted.
