I'm liking your subtlety Bluevolt.

I think Jeep?s original suggestion of Hurling will be the closest just with slightly less drunken Irish. Rugby will be a close second followed by real football, and Yank football will be last gasping for air after 20 minutes with no time-outs to take a rest in...

Besides, until OS gives us more crap to leak/make up/wind you lot up about this convo's just ticking over in neutral.

Okay after having a brief convo with Psychout we decided we can at least reveal one style of Tournament that will be possible in HMW2.

Capture the Flag? You know the deal. Capture the enemies flag and get it back to your own territory while defending your own flag.

It'll be a mix of football (in the sense that the flag is the ball and you have to run through the opposing team to get to the other end of the field) and basically every other sport that requires an object to hit the ball (cricket bats, baseball bats, hockey sticks, curling sticks, polo sticks, pogo sticks, etc etc, and so the SOCCER fans don't get left out, kicks to the nuts WILL be legal) with said objects being used in place of your conventional weapons to bludgeon your opponent.

Oh and to make it a little more fun and more "Transformer-ish" there will be high explosives flying around the field of play and you may use your beating stick to beat them towards and opponent in an attempt to blow them up, on top of that will be one teeny tiny little golden ball flying around that when caught will unleash an EMP designed specifically to take out your opponents and pretty much guarantee you victory.

We planned to call this tournament "Heavy Metal Quidditch" but copyright issues got in the way. Sorry for disappointing you folks. :P

Curling doesn't have sticks, it has brooms. Hurling has sticks. Well, most of the time they're known as "exhibit a" in a murder trial but it's still a stick.

No, no. Soccer. Real football involves toe-taps, points and goals, teams of fifteen and angry Kerry men.

So is now a good time to add 'boot to the nuts' as a 0 FRP/0 SKL weapon in the armoury?

So you got the other one did you? I knew one had escaped.
I removed then after I tested them, but ill happily put them back on general release if people want?

May as well have fun with the 1 part of the game we can fiddle with at the moment, but im not out to create another battleblades scenario - this was created using TammuzMaths™ (V5.0 ofr the RDD lads that helped) so should balance with the rest of the weapons.

So at the moment I have a unique weapon? Cool B-)

The weapons should really use some refreshment, as the majority of combinations even on the lowest levels (2/2-2/5) are not used.

I'd grab it, but I don't have any bots that could equip (or buy) one right now, and I really don't want to have to reallot xp/armor for the comedy factor.
