And as JP said, all that body armour. Hit each other like REAL men do in Rugby (be it Union or League)
Football players are bigger and faster on average than rugby players. Many of the offensive and defensive line players being 300+ lbs. The average speed for "skill" players is a 4.4 second 40 yard dash. Body armour is a good idea.
Oh and long live the forward pass.

Actually with all that padding, you'd be more inclined to throw your entire body weight into a hit, therefor causing more force. And on an old(because i don't think it's still on) FSN show called Sports Science(kinda like Mythbusters, but for sports and not as funny) they tested the "myth" of which did more damage to one's body, Rugby or Football, surprisingly, they were equal.
They determined Rugby hits are more often throughout a game whereas Football you get that one huge hit every now and then. But this is memory of seeing the episode over a year and half or two years ago, so i would have to find it again somewhere to see exactly what was said.
Both sports are good in their own way, atleast it offers variety and such, i have to side with Football though as the better, because i like the more stradegy in picking the right offensive play to embarrass the other team's defense. But i would also say, i'd like see players from both those sports step on the ice and see how they take a check from someone like Dion Phanuef or Cam Jensen or Scott Stevens and see if they remember what 2+2 equals afterwards, haha.
(EDIT:
quick youtube search found it.)
And so i'm a little on topic, can't wait for HMW2, haha.
