Some bad news today, as we learn of the passing of original Generation One The Transformers animated series score composer Robert J Walsh. The news was given by Varese Sarabande Records, on Twitter, who produced some of his albums - namely, Young Warriors and Revenge of the Ninja.
Walsh also worked on fellow animated series Inhumanoids, Action Force, plus Muppet Babies, Daffy Duck's Movie, and more. The thoughts and condolences of Seibertron.com are with his family and loved ones.
We have some sad news to report. Composer #RobertJWalsh has passed away. We worked with him on two great albums, #RevengeOfTheNinja and #YoungWarriors. Our thoughts are with his family and the many fans he had all over the world.

According to main cast member of the human side of Transformers Bumblebee Movie, due out in cinemas worldwide from this December, there may be more than just her acting skills at play in the sixth live action instalment in the Paramount series (though perhaps the start of a new series, after all).
Take it with as much salt as you want, as it's a very vague tweet, but in announcing her hosting duties for the MTV Europe Music Awards in Bilbao, Spain, taking place on 4th November, she also hinted at performing a new song from her other life as a successful pop artist. And via a screenshot - via TFW2005 user Transformers Database - of a now deleted tweet from Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic fame, there may be even more to the piece than hinted at. We've received a notification of a guest reveal at Fanboy Expo in Knoxville this year, thanks to its organisers, featuring one of the staple voices of the Transformers franchise, but well known for his work in several other series: Frank Welker!

Frank Welker is best known is best known for voicing iconic characters Fred Wilson and Scooby-Doo in the ScoobyDoo franchises which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2019. He is also Megatron in the Transformer series and movie franchises. In addition he has voiced hundred of other characters on series such as The Real Ghostbusters, Garfield, Futurama, The Smurfs, Aladdin, GI Joe, Super Friends and many more! which For his complete filmography click here to visit his imdb profile.
We have another update from the organisers of TFcon Chicago 2018, with an addition to their guest roster for this year's event - IDW artist and colourist Josh Perez! A long-time collaborator with Alex Milne on covers and art for More Than Meets the Eye and Lost Light, plus several other projects in the Transformers comics universe, Perez is also probably the world's biggest Bumblebee fan.

The organisers of TFCon USA 2018 have reached out to us to let us know that Transformers Artist Josh Burcham is attending TFCon 2018 in Chicago! Josh has worked on many Transformers comics, most notably More than Meets the Eyes and Optimus Prime.
This is hot on the heels of the news that Beast Wars Voice Actor Alec Willows is also attending TFCon.

The end is nigh for the current IDW Transformers continuity, with Optimus Prime issue #25 being the last one released (as long as current scheduling holds), and now, thanks to Transformers Artist Andrew Griffith and his Twitter and Facebook accounts, we've been given a look at a variant cover for this issue.

Thanks to a Tweet from the man himself, and thanks to several notifications from Seibertron.com members, we have word that David Sobolov, the voice of Beast Wars Badass Depthcharge and Transformers: Prime's mad scientist and Predacon clone creator Shockwave, will be voicing a Transformer in the upcoming Bumblebee Movie! The tweet comes from David Sobolov himself, with express approval from Paramount themselves, though he does not mention which Transformer he will voice. With is voice acting career already showing he can voice some great characters with a nice mix of cynicism, sarcasm, intelligence, and scowling, he is sure to impress in the upcoming movie, whatever his role may be.
