It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's flying Shia Labeouf! Apparently they're already working in Los Angeles, California, on Transformers Dark of The Moon that is. A recent article on Mail Online shows pictures from the CA filming, where Shia can be seen doing stunt work. Is he jumping out of a building? An explosion? Whatever your take is, check out the pics here.
Following the onslaught of recent news regarding Transformers: Prime, USA Today has now posted character details of the early cast from the show. From their article:
The Transformers get a "distinct" makeover for the new animated series on The Hub, premiering Nov. 26, but favorites will still be easy to recognize, says executive producer Alex Kurtzman. The "Robots in Disguise" include:
Optimus Prime
(Peter Cullen)
The leader of the Autobots and protector of humans is the biggest, strongest and smartest. He goes from big rig to his red-and-blue armored self. "We always saw Optimus as the noble knight who was there to protect and to carry on the code. The code extends as far back as to what it represented on Cybertron and the lineage he came from, which was protection of the race," Kurtzman says.

New images of Takara Tomy's upcoming Masterpiece Rodimus Convoy featured in the December issue of Dengeki Hobby have been scanned and posted to the CyberGundam blog pages. The two-page spread gives us a closer look at the figure's dual robot and vehicle modes and highlights Hot Rodimus' (Hot Rod's) opening canopy in car mode. We also get clearer looks at the gimmicks: the retracting visor, the two-mode gun, and saw and welding torch accessories. The scanned pages also point out the joints where the legs click down to give us the height difference between the two robot modes and feature pictures of the mail-away base. This figure is scheduled for a January 2011 release.
