Do you live near an Ollie's? Well you need to get out to your local store as soon as possible because according to various Seibertronian sources we have word that some hard to find items have randomly popped up.
First in thanks to Seibertronian xRotorstormx we have news that an Ollie's in Lansing, MI has as of this writing Allspark Tech Starter Packs including Optimus Prime, Shadow Spark Optimus Prime, and Sqweeks! Just when you thought you'd seen the adorable little buddy with a killer right hook in every permutation possible this particular Sqweeks is seeing one of his rare appearances on US shores, at least the first we know of at an Ollie's. Sources say he has been spotted at other discount centers such as Ross but some find Ollie's a tad easier to navigate. You movie-verse completists out there will want to keep your optics peeled for this cool little item.
Also rolling in like a thunder cloud from this same Ollie's we have a sighting of Transformers Cyberverse Thundercracker! Awful hard to deny how sleek the blue color scheme looks on this new Seeker mold.
Thundercracker was $4.99 and the starter packs were $9.99
Then in a rather random sighting our own Podimus Prime ScottyP spotted Transformers Mighty Mugs which were previously only available online for only $3.99 each at a Raleigh, NC Ollie's.
Note in the picture below they only have series 1 with the four characters.
Most Ollie's typically receive the same or similar merchandise around the same time, so these sightings although far apart do indicate there's an interesting flow of Transformers merchandise hitting the brick and mortars.
What have you found? Be sure to let us know in the forum and stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!
Thanks to a post from IAMONFIRE to Weibo we have some incredibly well done in hand images of the new Transformers Masterpiece MPM-9 Jazz! There's quite a few to look at but they're all worth it, especially for big fans of poor Jazz's final scene in the 2007 live action Transformers movie.
We'd posted a feature on a video review a few months back and you can still find that by clicking HERE.
Enjoy the images and share your thoughts in the forum. Come on now, we all want to see your photos of Masterpiece Megatron divvying Jazz up. Be sure to post them as soon as you're able to and make sure to stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!
Thanks to Seibertronians TF-fan kev777 and Kamalethar, we have been alerted to a listing on Hasbro Pulse for the next two Seacons to be released, Kraken and Lobclaw! This marks the first U.S. listing for these figures, but we'll be sure to update you when our sponsors have their listings up as well.
For those of you who may not be familiar with the names for these two figures, Kraken and Lobclaw are the Japanese names for Seawing and Nautilator, respectively. The Seacons only showed up in a few issues of the Marvel comic, and not at all in the cartoon, but it was a different story in Japan. They were featured in the Transformers Super God Masterforce cartoon and manga, as were many figures released in 1988, but given different names. The Seacons, in particular, were all essentially mindless drones that attacked en masse, commanded by Turtler (Snap Trap). They could combine with him to form King Poseidon. So because these Seacons are a Takara initiated project, they'll be released with Japanese names, instructions and packaging, but due to Hasbro and Takara's brand unification, they will still be sold in the U.S.
History lesson aside, please click on either figure's picture to be taken to Hasbro Pulse, where you can pre preorder these two, and be two steps closer to completing your Piranacon King Poseidon combiner! Of note, they are only available to order on Pulse until September 29th, so only a little over three weeks! Let us know below if you plan on picking either of these two up, and we'll see you in the forums!
Perusing Facebook this evening, this news crew member came across a link to a YouTube video that contains some VERY interesting and unexpected news. From its announcement, Masterpiece Optimus Prime 3.0 was only ever confirmed to have voice clips, newly recorded, from his original Japanese voice actor, Tesshō Genda. However, this recently posted video, from YouTube channel ThreeStar Star, demonstrates that not only does he include clips from Transformers voice acting legend Peter Cullen, but he also includes.... well, watch the video and find out!
While the inclusion of English voice and sound clips hasn't been officially confirmed, it certainly looks as though they'll be part of the figure. We'll likely find out soon, as MP-44 is set to be released in Japan on Saturday.
What do you think, Seibertronians? Does this up your desire to get this figure? Let us know in the forums below!

Thanks to a new post to by TFND on Facebook's member Robin Lee we have a veritable convoy of new details and images for the new MP-44 Takara Tomy Transformers Masterpiece Optimus Prime 3.0! This is one mean Masterpiece coming with a bevy of accessories including Sideswipe's jetpack, new blast effects for said jetpack, a Starscream head and air intake shoulder mounting 'disguise' harkening back to the G1 cartoon episode Megatron's Master Plan Part 1, the iconic axe, ion rifle, spare faces to reflect greater cartoon show accuracy and poor Prime's smashed up mug from his battle with Megatron (MP-36's matching battle damage) from the 1986 animated movie. I'm out of breath and that's barely covering half the features this thing comes with. He even comes with an audio soundbox feature with newly recorded lines by the character's original Japanese voice actor Tesshō Genda!
Along with the truckload of MP-44 images we have some images of the new collector pin that Prime comes with and the MP=44 packaging. These images come via the new post to Robotkingdom.
And in our last little bit of MP-44 news for today we have a brief animation of how the retractable pelvis armor works when Prime's leg is raised. This was posted to Instagram by Ocar Lan. Just click the link to head over and watch how it works.
Hope you enjoy all the views of this true Masterpiece. Make sure to share your thoughts in the forum and stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!
If any of you are into high end collectible licensed Transformers figures, well we have some news for you. While with the advent of brand unification, the Figure King magazine isn't as revealing as it used to be, it did give us some surprises this time. Mondo is a toy company that makes licensed collectible figures. In Figure King 259, courtesy of Loopaza, we can see an early version of their upcoming Soundwave figure along with their plans for a Bumblebee and an Arcee figure, which is a departure from her more typical feminine look. You'll let us know what you think about those.
The issue also has nice images of MP 48 Lio Convoy, upcoming Siege figures like Rumble and Ratbat, a gray scale image of Piranacon, many cyberverse figures already being found at retail in many parts of the world and the super 7 figures which show you what is going on inside Megaron and Optimus. There are also Japan exclusive Keshi blind bag figures that seem like a rebirth of the G1 decoy figures.

That's right fellow Seibertronians after starting the day with a strange glitch that saw the counter dip down to about 1,500 backers (supporters, orders, Unicrons) Haslab Transformers Unicron is ending the day swinging coming in at a combined number of 4,782 backers! The turquois titan is still in the fight but he can't come into full being without your support! We're in his corner and we need to pull for him. There's only five days left to go!
For Fanformers old and new Unicron is the end of all storylines. In many cases he plays a big role in the beginning of them too. All roads in our fandom inevitably lead to conflict with this character because he is thee omega, the end all be all for our favorite heroes and villains to finally come together and defeat what they alone could not manage or muster separately. He has always provided the darkest hour for us to shine our brightest.
And now, like all conflicts againstUnicron, we must band together and fight FOR UNICRON! Know an old friend who might like this? Ask them about Unicron! Have a co-worker claim they're the ultimate Transformer fan? This is the item for them! Let anyone who you know that loves Transformers know about the opportunity to support this project.
Below we're re-posting the questions that were recently answered by Haslab about the Unicron project. This open invite was posted to Instagram last week with fans chiming in with their questions about the Chaos Bringer. Our own editor William-James sorted through and wrote them out for you to read:
"Hasbro has just posted a video where the brand team answers questions that were asked regarding their big Unicron. As of right now there are 2,945 backers through pulse but this does not include orders from other channels yet. 8,000 orders are needed for this toy to be produced. Here is a breakdown of what we learn, of course please watch the video to see exactly what was said.
There is currently no intention on extending the deadline.
There are no lights and sounds, conversion was the most important part.
While what we have seen so far is a prototype, it is the best representation of the colour the final toy will have.
The project started over a year and a half ago.
He has six joints in each of the hands with a total of 50 articulation points.
The bot alone is 19 pounds.
He has both 5mm and 3mm ports for integration with the Siege line (and anything else that fits those measures).
“The Lord of Chaos. The Planet Eater. The Chaos Bringer. Unicron stands alone as the most menacing figure in Transformers lore, capable of devouring entire worlds and civilizations. He debuted in the 1986 film Transformers: The Movie and his insatiable appetite nearly brought the entire universe to its knees.
But his legacy transcends both space and time.
“I have summoned you here for a purpose.” - Unicron
Transformers fans may be mere humans, inhabiting a miniscule planet hardly worth consuming, but they are some of the most passionate fans out there. That’s why HASLAB, the Hasbro Pulse crowdsourcing platform, is the place to awaken such a massive project.
Introducing the first ever Transformers HASLAB project: Transformers War For Cybertron Unicron.

This campaign will move into production when it reaches its minimum goal of 8,000 backers. All support must be received by 11:59 PM EST on August 31, 2019. If the campaign is successful your payment method will be charged on August 31, 2019. Orders are estimated to ship in early 2021.
