Thanks to fellow Seibertron user,
Scottimus Prime, we have a sighting of a rather unusual Bumblebee Movie tie in product. This product in question is a Glow in the Dark pillow! It comes in two designs, one being Bee's face and the other being the Autobot symbol. These were sighted at a Walmart in Centereach, New York.
Here is the images as provided to us which also show the display the pillows were found in which is Bumblebee themed as well.
Are you tempted by these pillows? Will you be cuddling up with Bumblebee? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews.

With the premiere of
Bumblebee this last Sunday at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, fans and critics alike are buzzing over the film. The festivities weren’t only for the onlookers; several members of the film’s cast and crew were in attendance, and they joined together that night at Ohm’s Nightclub for a triumphant after-party. There lead actress Hailee Steinfeld, who plays Charlie Watson in the film proper, was surprised when her compatriots presented her with a cake in a surprise celebration for her upcoming 22nd birthday.
Amidst the hectic activity of the night, Steinfeld and several others on the crew were interviewed by The Hollywood Reporter to give their thoughts on the film’s production. In regards to the film’s rewrite, Steinfeld shared that, “Christina Hodson wrote an amazing script, which drew [Steinfeld] into this world… Kelly Fremon Craig, who wrote and directed [her] in Edge of Seventeen, did the rewrite, and [Steinfeld and Craig] had wonderful conversations about developing Charlie’s voice into what you see now.”
In addition to acting, astute readers may know that Hailee Steinfeld has written a song for the film’s soundtrack. A self-admitted ‘bucket list’ item, she described the process as follows: “I wanted the song to ring true to the 1980s, while being able to fit into [her] body of work as an artist.”
She also comments on the filming itself, and the bizarre circumstances under which she performed due to her main acting partner, Bumblebee himself, being wholly computer-generated. In her own words, “When you’re reading the script, you’re kind of taking it all in as if it’s real… When you show up to set and they tell you you’re working with a tennis ball and a stick for four months, you realize it’s not going to be easy.”
For more of the interview, and a taste of Director Travis Knight, fellow actors Pamella Adlon and John Cena, writer Christina Hodson, and voice actors Justin Theroux and Angela Bassett’s experiences please refer The Hollywood Reporter’s full article, posted on their website.

With Bumblebee edging its way into theaters soon, we have word from director Travis Knight regarding his future projects. Despite rumors stating that Knight would replace former
Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn to take over for the third film, Knight himself dispelled the rumor in a statement he made to Bad Taste, a website based in Italy. He explains that, “After Bumblebee, [Knight’s] goal is to return to work at the animation studios Laika, [his] ‘child’ bringing with him [all] the baggage of experience [he’s] gained with [Bumblebee].”
For those who do not know, Knight made his name known working on stop-motion animated films such as 2009’s
Coraline and 2014’s
Kubo and the Two Strings, the latter being Knight’s directorial debut. Despite the warm reception towards
Bumblebee, his live action debut, it seems Knight’s tenure in the Transformers franchise will be left short and sweet.
Are you saddened that Knight will not continue to work with Transformers, or do you prefer his work at Laika? Perhaps you wish that Knight was indeed taking the helm for the third Guardians movie. Today, we have some very special and unique news to share with you. Seibertronian
TulioDude was fortunate enough to attend CCXP 2018, which is a Brazilian Comic Con Experience. The event featured a very large media presence, and among the many booths at the event was one dedicated to Bumblebee and his upcoming movie!
TulioDude was kind enough to take a ton of pictures of the event, and even wrote us up a description of the event to go with his pictures. Check out the full experience below!
TulioDude wrote:The first three are the Bumblebee statue that was present.Upon close inspection it seems a advanced version of a papercraft, mixed with metal and lights. Its was very well done.
The place was built to resemble a garage with few tools and different models of TVs,as you can see the next three photos.
The other side had few games resembling an arcade with arcade like cabinets (pretty sure one of them was Metal Slug), one pinball machine (a Bumblebee movie themed one) and a stage with people playing Just Dance with some 80’s songs and a few more. There was also some dioramas like the previous one seen in other conventions around, but I did not manage to get more photos of them. An overall view in the next pic.
Of note, one of the highlights was one arcade cabinet with a Bumblebee game, which could be played by up to two players in split screen. I thing this game was seen elsewhere before but I don't remember where. There was also the same in a few smart devices nearby. The next four pics show this. The toy store named ToyMania, was one responsible for selling Transformers merchandise there. It was a selection of the Bumblebee line, Studio series, Cyberverse and miscellaneous ones. If bought anything, you earned the convention exclusive cup, and any if spent more than R$199,00 (Brazil currency remember) in total price, you get the exclusive shirt (i didn't get one). All this seen in the next nine pics. The pin-bottom was the prize for playing the Bumblebee arcade game.
To cap it off one last pics of the tools and one of the outside view.

Following information submitted to the
British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) we've now learned that Bumblebee's age rating certificate has been lowered from a 12-A (no one under twelve years of age without Adult Supervision) to a PG rating (Parental Guidance advised). Thus certificate will increase the chance that more families will see the film when it opens on the 26th of December in the UK. It appears as though footage was cut to make this change as the new running time is now 113 mins and 38 seconds, the amount of footage lost is minimal.
Please note that this poster was from before the date of the movie was changed to that of the 26th December in the UK.
Are you looking forward to seeing this film? If you have already seen it at an early advance screening, don't forget to leave your feedback in
our spoiler thread. Everyone else feel free to leave your comments in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews.

The latest film in the long-running Transformers live action movie franchise, Bumblebee, is still more than a week away from its U.S. theatrical debut (December 21, 2018), but that isn't stopping anyone from talking about what's NEXT for this particular branch of the franchise!
ScreenRant writer Sandy Schaefer reports that if Travis Knight, director of the Bumblebee movie, has anything to say about it, it could be a fully CGI-based movie set entirely on Cybertron! If you've been keeping up on the buzz about the Bumblebee movie, and have been watching the teasers and trailers, you probably know that there is a prologue scene set on Cybertron beginning the Bumblebee film, depicting the legendary struggle of the Autobots versus the Decepticons, featuring many familiar characters sporting some VERY G1-inspired looks. Travis Knight told ScreenRant that he was thrilled to bring this glimpse of Cybertron's fall to the movie, paying homage to how the original 1984 cartoon series began in its pilot episode. Knight went on to say that he included these scenes in the movie, because that is the kind of Transformers movie he's always wanted to see himself.
Very little about the next Transformers movie is known at this point, but things are looking good for Travis Knight taking on another Transformers passion project if the early reviews on Bumblebee are to be believed (spoiler: they're great!). How do you feel about the prospect of a completely CGI-driven Transformers movie, without Earth, without humans? We've been told for years that Transformers media needs human characters to remain relatable. Will Paramount and Hasbro let Travis Knight put that to the test? Tell us what you think of the possibilities for "Transformers 6" in the comments below, and as always, stay tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest news on all things Transformers!

Can't get enough buzz about the soon to be released Bumblebee movie? Dolby Cinema has got you covered with their new EXCLUSIVE movie poster! You can check out Dolby's post on their Facebook page by following this
link. You should be able to spot this poster in person at theatres across the United States equipped with Dolby Cinema technology.
The poster itself shows Bumblebee looming large in the background, with his new co-star, Hailee Steinfeld, front and center, portraying Charlie Watson, the latest teen/young adult to represent the human heart of the Transformers saga. John Cena of WWE fame, turning in a performance as the new human antagonist to Bumblebee, Jack Burns of Sector Seven, can be seen standing with weapon at the ready, flanked by two of the new Decepticons for the film, Shatter (red) and Dropkick (blue), in their robot modes. Finally, a couple of fighter jets can be seen flying over the Golden Gate bridge to the right.
One of them is likely Blitzwing, who we learned quite early on was the character we assumed was Starscream when the first teasers for Bumblebee dropped earlier this year. We don't know who the other jet might be, though. Is THAT Starscream? We know he's making an appearance in the "Flashback on Cybertron" portion of the movie. Could it just be a generic Decepticon grunt? Could it be a Sector Seven vehicle? Or is it just artistic license?
We'll find out soon enough when Bumblebee finally hits theatres on December 21! How will YOU be experiencing the Bumblebee movie? Join the Buzz and let us know in the comments below! As always, stay tuned to Seibertron.com for all the latest news on all things Transformers!

We're comin' in hot! Off Amazon.com, we have new listings, as well as official stock images showing these new toys,
Bumblebee Mission Vision Bumblebee and Shatter! We know these new toys are called "Mission Vision" due to another
Amazon.com listing with the name 'Transformers Tra MV6
Mission Vision Figure AST" that uses the same Bumblebee image. Speaking of, the new figures appear to be simplistic toys that can easily transform into their alternate modes. The big gimmick is they have a lens through it's chest in robot mode, which may be 3x magnifier (judging from the box) or a decoder, similar to The Last Knight Reveal the Shield toys.
The toys are Shatter, who is in jet mode with her battle mask on many of her toys, and Bumblebee is in his classic Camaro mode, without his battle mask. The listings are:
Bumblebee with the one image,
Bumblebee with all images, and
Shatter.
So thought's on these new, interesting figures? Let us know below!

With Bumblebee getting praise from critics and fans alike, Paramount and Hasbro are both looking to continue the live action film franchise and not waste a minute. Lorenzo Di Bonaventura has provided us with the very first details for the next Transformers film. You can read the quotes he gave to
Slash Film below, but the major take away is that the next film will be a BIG Transformers film rather than a smaller character based film, and while it will be going a different direction than where the Michael Bay movies left us (i.e. probably no Unicron), it will
not be a full on reboot. The fact that we get both appearances of Simmons and Bumblebee's Camaro mode in the Bumblebee movie is proof enough that what came before will not be fully ignored going forward, but the goal is still to give fans something new.
Take that as you will. Oh and Lorenzo also states clearly why he is not a fan of Unicron (which may give us a hint as to why the only live action TF film to have Unicron was the worst in the series so far).
“Reboot, I always hate that word because for one, I’m not sure I really understand what it means.” “We are going to do another big Transformers movie. It is going to be different than the ones that we’ve done before.”
“It’s not like we look at the elements of what we did before and go, ‘Well, let’s not do this’ or ‘Let’s not do that'.” “It’s more about how do you evolve the experience for the fans. Let the fan have a new experience.”
“When we did the first movie, at first there was a lot of pushback that we weren’t doing it the way it was done before." “My feeling was always that if we’d done it, you would’ve gone, ‘Well, I’ve already seen it.’ So how do you evolve things forward is I think the hardest thing because you’ve got to retain why people love it, but at the same time if you give them the same experience, they’re going to be bored with it.”
“Okay, I’m going to be controversial.” “I’m not a fan of Unicron. It’s too big. It’s so big it’s beyond any sort of relatable thing I think, for me personally. That doesn’t mean it’s not going to be in the series someday. I don’t know that I’ve thought much about it honestly because we’ve been focused on this movie.”
“I think we’ve learned something in this movie about tone that I would think the next big Transformers movie is going to have.” “It’s not like we’re going to copy it but we’ve learned something. There’s more freedom than I think we originally thought in terms of what we can do.”
