We're comin' in hot! Off Amazon.com, we have new listings, as well as official stock images showing these new toys, Bumblebee Mission Vision Bumblebee and Shatter! We know these new toys are called "Mission Vision" due to another Amazon.com listing with the name 'Transformers Tra MV6 Mission Vision Figure AST" that uses the same Bumblebee image. Speaking of, the new figures appear to be simplistic toys that can easily transform into their alternate modes. The big gimmick is they have a lens through it's chest in robot mode, which may be 3x magnifier (judging from the box) or a decoder, similar to The Last Knight Reveal the Shield toys.
The toys are Shatter, who is in jet mode with her battle mask on many of her toys, and Bumblebee is in his classic Camaro mode, without his battle mask. The listings are: Bumblebee with the one image, Bumblebee with all images, and Shatter.
So thought's on these new, interesting figures? Let us know below!

Articulation is pretty minimal like the rest of the line, but is that double elbows I see on Dropkick? Sure, it's all for the transformation, but take the extra range of motion where you can get it. I mean, Nitro Bumblebee doesn't even have elbows and it's his toy line!
So what do you think of Nitro Dropkick and Blitzwing? Sound off in the Energon Pub and keep coming back to Seibertron for all the latest Transformers news.

He's not a Triple Changer, just a Seeker who so happens to be a Seeker, I saw the film during the screenings on the 8'th so I can confirm this.
If there ends up being a Studio Series Blitzwing it's gonna be a normal Seeker, Bot to jet.

Whay that name tho? Like if Astrotrai was there but he could only transform into a space shuttle. Bee Blitzwing could have been called Ramjet and be a conehead or something.
Anyway, I call an easy Nitro Zeus repaint like they did for Thundercracker.

*Shrugs*
I presume a combination of things like trademark and a leftover for when this was still a prequel as a (Movie spoiler about character) Throwaway Decepticon featured in trailers to kill off, akin to Bonecrusher and Sideways
But honestly were gonna have to wait and see to learn why this particular character had that respective name.
If it makes you feel better his name isn't even mentioned in the movie. (Although it is in the credits)

For a recent major example, AoE Hound is obviously more a Bulkhead in terms of design. But Prime was already taking care of the Bulkhead trademark while in the meantime Hound was vulnerable.
I'm pretty sure despite the similarities that Hound was always meant to be called Hound since the name exited since at least the early days of AOE filming since it was the only name announced at the time (We didn't know who Drift and Crosshairs were for sure heck when we first heard their names Crosshairs was still going by "Slingshot") and the only name of the 3 new Autobots said multiple times and the only one who's name was said by humans (Crosshairs only had one name call from Drift and voice acting is usually done at a later stage then the filming for the most part)
Just a personal theory of mine, not a true fact or anything.

Liking the dropkick figure, which has to be my first for the non studio series Bumblebee toys-kind of feels Battletrapish.

That make total sense. And the fact that Blitzwing's name is mentioned only in the credits and on the toy box is a nice compromise.

You're crazy... well no cos i literally said the same sorta thing 2 minutes before you did. This figure's probably got worse articulation in general but yeah there's something a bit more appealing about it overall

I think it’s the fact that the arms are bulkier and that there’s more blue on it

There's also the Igniters Power Blitzwing figure so Hasbro does consider him a Triplechanger even if he doesn't appear as one in the movie.

We now see that there is no retooling from the yellow VW Speed series Bumblebee, it is just a redeco. While Cliffjumper does indeed share the same body as Bumblebee in the film, it is Bee's Cybertronian body he has and not the VW body. Still, the theme of having similar bodies is there and better yet this becomes a fun homage to the red Bumblebee toy released in G1.

Complaining about repaints is still a thing in Current Year?
I thought it was already redundant to do so in 1984.

To be fair this isn't really what Cliffjumper looks like in the film since A: He has same the Cybertronian body Bee has but not a Volkswagen so technically not very accurate, and B: Cliffjumper has a very different head here compared to the film which more so resembles that of his G1 self.
But yeah simple repaints have been a thing for a long time and always will be around because of getting worth out of a mold, on the other hand Hasbro has been pretty good about at least remolding the heads of figures so Hasbro could of at least given him a movie accurate head sculpt.

I'll take out the torches and pitchforks if they make the deluxe Studio Series Cliffjumper this way, however.

He's one of the characters in the Cybertron scenes.

If they reshelled and replaced the head of the SS Bumblebee figure, I'd be OK with that. I quite like that toy.-Kanrabat- wrote:I'll take out the torches and pitchforks if they make the deluxe Studio Series Cliffjumper this way, however.
Poor CliffyJ, forever Bee's bridesmaid.

Oh lol!
At least he got his own mold trice in Prime. Too bad his character was killed off So soon.

This clear yellow version of Bumblebee is actually the first Japanese release of the Volkswagen Speed Series Bumblebee mold in Japan. In fact, I believe this is the first Energon Igniter released in Japan! I say this since, well, the Bumblebee toyline in Japan is looking a little sparse (with only the Power Charge Bumblebee and exclusive Leader Class Legendary Optimus Prime).
So, are you interested in this most likely, limited, release of this sweet boy? Let us know in the Pub forums below!

Also, while there is Ratchet in the Bumblebee film, with a great G1 design, this toy uses the Dark of the Moon / Age of Extinction design with an albino looking robot mode. The vehicle mode is an ambulance though, for once. For those wanting this toy, its UPC is 6 30509 79526 0. Also, depending on distribution, this may be a rarer toy since it isn't part of the standard wave 2 case but actually part of a revision wave 2 case.
Here is the full revision wave 2 case content from Entertainment Earth:
1x TRA MV6 ENERGON IGNITERS POWER HOT ROD
3x TRA MV6 IGNITERS POWER BUMBLEBEE CAMARO
2x TRA MV6 ENERGON IGNITERS POWER SHATTER
2x TRA MV6 ENERGON IGNITERS POWER RAM (Ratchet)

Technically, that sentence would imply that the TOYS ate the retail market or while concept of what retail is...

I’m going with this interpretation, that would explain why SS Devastator components are being sold across multiple waves.

You do know that the Cybertron scene was made much later in production and that the toylines are all made and developed longer before the Cybertron stuff was finished right?
The same reason why figures of characters are based off concept art rather then the final designs in the films?
(Also oh my god grammar, which I know is kind of ironic coming from me)

(He would of been Ratchet's Bee movie design with this coloration and the helmet would of been inspired by Movie Ratchet but the face was the same as Ratchets)
