Remember back in March when there was news about a new Arcade shooter game that was meant to be a sequel to the Bumblebee centered game, Human Alliance? Well, we have news for you that the game has a release month and it will be shown off that same month at Bowl Expo!

The new game, titled Transformers: Shadows Rising, will be launching in July, and to advertise the new game, it will be featured at Bowl Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada that same month. This information all comes to us from an article posted on Arcade Heroes, which also contained a new updated picture of the actual game cabinet itself, which has undergone some slight modifications since the March showcase.

The game itself will be another shooter styled game, and will feature 3 unique locations, and is rumored to have a level set on the moon too. You can read the article up above, and check out a video done by Arcade Heroes of the gameplay from March as well as a picture of the new box below.

This announcement is to let everyone know that from now up until June 29 the Hall of Fame is open to nominees for Favorite Transformers Character and for the 2018 Toy of the Year. The nominee cannot be someone who has already been inducted, and you can see a list below along with the nominee information.

So get your nominees in and let us know who you think deserves to be in the Hall of Fame next!

Transformers News: 2018 Transformers Hall of Fame Now Open for Nominations

Hi Transformers fans!

It’s that time again to make your voice heard in the Transformers Hall of Fame vote for 2018! Hasbro is asking fans to help nominate inductees into the Transformers Hall of Fame within two categories. The categories are:

· FAVORITE TRANSFORMERS CHARACTER (Fictional Robot Character)

· 2018 TRANSFORMERS HASBRO TOY OF THE YEAR

As you know, no characters who have already been inducted within the ‘Favorite Character’ category will be considered for nomination. A list of inducted characters can be found at the bottom of this email.

The new category ‘Transformers Toy of the Year’ was introduced in 2017 to provide fans an opportunity to share their passion for the figures that have been the heartbeat of the brand for over 30 years. This category will continue in 2018 and is meant to celebrate the new product within the calendar year and the ongoing efforts of the Hasbro Transformers team to fulfill the desires of our many fans around the world with innovative and exciting toys. All nominations for this category must be toys newly released by Hasbro in 2018 and can include figures that have not yet hit shelves in the calendar year, but have been announced.

We ask that you poll your readers to determine the characters they wish to be considered for each category of the Transformers Hall of Fame and share your Top 3 nominees for each category (six nominees total) including the number of votes with us no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, June 29th.

Please rank your outlet’s polling results list in order of who received the most votes for each category. All polling result lists will be combined together, each outlet getting an equal voice. The combined values will be used to generate the final ballot of three choices for each category. Details will follow regarding the official voting process in the coming weeks.

Winners of the final polling will be announced at SDCC during the official Transformers brand panel on Thursday, July 19th at 11am in Room 29AB.

Fellow Seibertronian shajaki has pointed us towards another image that had been almost missed in the flurry of excitement from Tokyo Toy Show 2018 over the weekend, featuring the Takara Tomy Star Wars Powered by Transformers toyline and its new Millennium Falcon mold!

I still cannot not see IDW Publishing's original character Anode in the supposed Han Solo facesculpt, but the addition of the crossbow and revamped packaging are a nice touch to the set, after the rebooted Darth Vader. Check out the image below, courtesy of singgg4 over on Twitter, and let us know what you think of the two scoundrel bots the ship turns into in the Energon Pub discussion boards.

While the 2018 Tokyo Toy Show showed the reveal of a new Transformers Masterpiece figure (Prime 3.0) and our first look at Masterpiece Beast Wars Megatron in colour, it did also have Masterpiece Dinobot on display. While it is not a new figure, it did give many attendees the chance to take some really close up shots of him at all conceivable angles. The shots below give us the best look yet at the figure where we see the intricate raptor scale sculpting all across the tail. We also see how the tail folds to give us his spinning weapon and we get a great look at this sword which is indeed a nice shiny silver. This toy is due out at the end of next month and preorders are currently sold out on many online stores. Were you able to secure yourself one? Let us know what you think of the toy in the comments!

Several people wrote in to let us know about the latest Transformers Masterpiece reveal from Takara: Optimus Prime. This is a completely new mold from MP-10, focused squarely on show accuracy. There are no wheels on his legs, for instance, and the proportions are much closer to the show model. For that, of course, every truck mode part has been replaced by fake vehicle kibble in the robot mode. You can see the inner chest through the truck windows, for instance. This reveal comes from the 2018 Tokyo Toy Show during the Takara panel where they also revealed a coloured prototype of Masterpiece Beast Wars Megatron and Gold Lagoon variants of several characters.

No price was given, nor the MP number for this figure. However, we do know that it will be out in 2019. Below are some images courtesy of 模玩麦片周 on Weibo.

Our latest presence for the line-up at TFNation 2018 features another comics addition from IDW Publishing, and what is perhaps the latest addition to the latter’s Transformers universe: Japan-based artist Kei Zama!

Zama’s stylistic influences are partially rooted in the heavy, dark, inked pages of British comics periodical 2000AD (of Judge Dredd fame), and her take on iconic Transformers characters such as Wreck-Gar, and even Optimus Prime himself, have proven a hit with readers of the latter's eponymous ongoing series, written by John Barber and with colours by Josh Burcham, after an initial stint on variant covers alone – some of which have also graced the front of Verse Comics’ Transformers-themed clothing.

Beyond Transformers, but not robots entirely, Zama has worked on IDW’s Atomic Robo providing cover art, Japanese imprint Sparklight comics, Marvel’s Scarlet Witch and fulfilling a long-dreamed ambition, 2000AD, with aPat Mills penned Blackblood story. Her blog and website are regularly updated with her work and appearances, for those curious about more mechs, monsters, and ‘heavy metal guys’.

Kei Zama will be attending TFNation 2018 all weekend, entertaining guests and fans with sketches, autographs, metal talk, cowboy hats, and possible commission art!

There was a lot of talk over what would be included in Takara's release of the toy accurate ceco for Masterpiece Megatron, numbered MP-36 +. After all, one of the mostimportant aspects of this release is an accessory, a toy accurate face, so we wondered if he would come with his other faces from the original release. Well, we finally have confirmation that he does. He comes with all the gun accessories, 3 shinier versions of the faces that came with MP 36, and a shinnier version fo the breastplate that came with MP 36. No extra weapons are included. All the images come from Dengeki Hobby.

kyano13neo shared an image from the toy show, on Twitter, where we see him next to the G1 toy counterpart which is not as shiny since this MP 36 + is based on the Hasbro G1 toy (and thus, the Takara 16-S release of G1 Megatron).
