Seibertron.com is proud to bring you some great new galleries featuring the highly anticipated Takara Tomy exclusive Transformers Legends Nightbird Shadow, Slipstream and Blackarachnia. The first two are respectively based on the recent Generations/Legends
Arcee and
Windblade molds while Legends Blackarachnia is a Beast Wars themed redeco and retool of the slightly older
Animated Blackarachnia mold (which was the latest mold sporting that name). This set of three lovely ladies serves as a sequel of sorts to the previous trifecta of female Transformers which was issued earlier this year all at once including Legends
Arcee,
Chromia, and
Windblade. It seems that this is truly the year of the female Transformer at Takara and we could not be happier.

Welcome to the latest edition of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast. This episode features your host for the evening, Counterpunch along with Megatronus, ScottyP and Rotorstorm rounding out the chat on a laid back evening. Relax, take a seat and enjoy as we discuss all the latest news, toys, comics and more in the world of Transformers.
Episode #131 "The Darkest Timeline" is available directly and in our RSS Feed and should appear on iTunes, and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
We start this episode off with some hot off the press news from the Transformers Collectors Club. With just under 5 months to go, the
Botcon 2016 brochure is now available. We'll run through our thoughts on package pricing, exclusives and the events taking place in Louisville, KY next year.
Of course, with the brochure now available, we can only assume registration is on the horizon...so be prepared!
Up next,
MTMTE #46 was released this week along with a
preview for MTMTE #47. Tune in to hear our comic aficionados break down the lastest happenings and hopes for the future storyline.
After being delayed a bit, Masterpiece Tracks has finally started to arrive and many of us are anxiously awaiting this beautiful blue vette. ScottyP was lucky enough to get Tracks before the rest of the cast, so you'll have to tune in to hear his in hand thoughts on this latest MP release.
In other Masterpiece news, coming on the heels of Ironhide is none other than
Ratchet.
A new wave of
Robots in Disguise mini-cons have been revealed along with a bevy of interesting animation renders and names within the latest update for the
RID smartphone app
And now it's time for something a little different. Counterpunch has a special topic tonight that you surely do not want to miss. With "Classics" or Generations styled figures now being the main focus of the Transformers toy line for Hasbro's collector focused branding, are us old-timers with a decade's worth of these toys already thoroughly occupied? Within this framework, the cast also discusses the new Robots in Disguise line and our thoughts on its place in the collecting world.
Moving on...let the rumor mill begin! Recently, Hasbro registered the trademarks for CybertronCon, currently the name of their Transformers convention in Asia. Does this mean anything? (No.) Is there a change to Botcon coming down the pike? (Probably not.) The Twincast has their take on this latest "development".
This episode's listener question comes from SW's Silverhammer and it has to do with some amusing knock offs. Will Dolphins fulfill their bloodlust for Transformer podcaster souls? Is Overlord and Star Saber's baby better off in the Korean box or the original Russian? What on Earth is this paragraph talking about?
Of course, we close out this episode with a round of bragging rights! What have the guys (and this gal) gotten their hands on since last episode? Have I opened anything lately, and why not? You'll have to tune in to find out.
Well, that wraps things up for another episode! We really hope you enjoyed listening.
Don't forget, the show only gets better if you tell us how. Drop us a review on
iTunes and be sure to tell us what you love, what you hate, and what you want to hear!
Not on the show to give your take? Probably not, so don't forget to keep the discussion going on the
Seibertron.com Energon Pub Forums by simply replying to this post!
Got a question for the Twincast? We take all of them, we just don't take them all seriously! Leave a question in the

The Takara Tomy Transformers Arms Micron line brought to Japan several of the toys that Hasbro released under the Prime line. It also, however, added the buildable aspect that gives the name to the line, the Microns (definitely not Minicons), some of which mirrored features of their larger counterparts. The ones featured in the latest Seibertron.com gallery, on the other hand, are part of the weapons series, using animal and humanoid modes alternated to smaller weapons and combinable ones: feast your optics below, and click on any image for the full gallery, on Microns Gabu, Baru, Dai, C.L. Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast. For your listening pleasure we have our host, ScottyP, along with "The man who finally got a deluxe of his namesake", Megatronus, and our "Two podcasters from the Great White North who couldn't make it to TFCon", xRotorstormx and RodimusConvoy13. Listen as they give you their takes on the latest and greatest in Transformers news.
Episode #130 "Retools" is available directly and in our RSS Feed and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Starting off in the exciting world of comics, we discuss
Transformers #46. Learn who is a fan of Blackrock and what we think of Uncomfortable Prime. All that plus some thoughts on the Mistress of Flame and what she represents await in our discussion of this (mostly) new release.
A giant leap is coming, is he ready?
Transformers: Redemption comes up after that. Between some cool crossover pages, story development, and new characters, there's a lot of cool that the cast found in this new release. There's also an intense discussion on Mad Max: Fury Road, so do remember to tell Scotty why he's wrong about it in the Energon Pub by replying to this post.
Slag? Slug? ... Don't call me Mad Max
We move on to a new masterpiece reveal: Masterpiece Ramjet! We dive right into Takara Tomy's first MP Conehead and discuss the intricacies of the head transformation, if we think he's too much like the cartoon, and cheekbones. Yes, cheekbones. You'll want to tune in for this oddly complex tale of speculative reverse engineering.
You wanna say something about my face to my face??
Next up is Combiner Wars Wave 4, specifically, concerns about Wheeljack. Is a Transformers/Powder crossover coming this many years after that movie you forgot about? No, but it's fun to kid around with this (we hope) early test shot.
Ha ha, not enough of the alloy! Wheeljack is still going to be infected with the Hate Plague.
That's not all for re-painted and re-tooled toy reveals, as we next look at e-Hobby Legends Deadlock. Do we like him? Is he purty? Yes. Yes.
Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the sword and the guns.
Had enough toy talk yet? Good! Because there's more. The conversation moves on to the Transformers Collectors' Club Subscription Service Krok and the bonus "mystery" figure, which we completely spoil if you've somehow managed to avoid that reveal so far. What works about this figure? What doesn't? What is the mysterious origin of Shakar? Do we still care now that we know?
One killer Krok.
Botcon 2016 is next, and we give our thoughts on the soon to be revealed (as of the recording) Sea Clamp. Do we think he's the best torso bot to use? We also share our feelings on his boxset-mate Cicadacon. Tune in before the crippling blow of reality swayed our opinions in other directions (or not).
Sea Clamp owes me Lobster Money.
After the toy talk we move on to a listener question. WilliamJames88 asks how we feel when a less expensive, possibly better version of a character is released after we've gotten the more expensive exclusive. We tell you what to think!-- oh wait, what we think. Sorry.
Will you still love me tomorrow?
We finish out with some bragging rights. What did we get? Were they Transformers? Of course they were!
Am I blue? Or am I blue?
With that we wrap up another episode, and we'll see you all again in a couple weeks.
Don't forget, the show only gets better if you tell us how. Drop us a review on
iTunes and be sure to tell us what you love, what you hate, and what you want to hear!

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast. This episode features your host Counterpunch leading the way through a big group huddled around a recorder at TFcon USA 2015. Appearances from regulars Jon 3.0, Megatronus, Razorclaw0000, Scotty P, and Seibertron are also on tap, plus recurring guest Paul F, and Mooncake623 from our News Staff also makes his podcast debut! The second half of the episode then lets you listen in on TFcon USA's multi-podcast panel, featuring the Twincast's Scotty P among several Transformers podcasters from around the web.
Episode #128 "TFcon USA 2015" is available directly and in our RSS Feed and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
On the Saturday night of TFcon USA 2015 in Charlotte, NC, a group gathered in Scotty P's hotel room for a special group activity: podcast recording.
Not this. Podcasting.
For this one, we're huddled around an ottoman with a small recorder, enjoying adult beverages and looking back on our first couple days of the show. This is your warning if you don't enjoy these types of episodes!
Your Twincast crew! Well, most of it.
We'll talk about the show's venue, the dealer room, as well as how the show compared to other Transformers conventions that we'd been to over the years. Plus, hear about the first-time convention experience from Megatronus and Mooncake623.
The smile says it all.
In the second half of the show, we've inserted a copy of the audio from the TFcon USA multi-podcast panel. On this panel, Seibertron's own Scotty P talks with other panelists Jeremy from the
Transmissions Podcast, Bobby Skullface from
Shattered Cast Uncut, and Rob Springer and Diecast from
Radio Free Cybertron. Tune in as we chat briefly about the convention, the toys there, and the world of Transformers podcasting. This one also didn't have a strict agenda, so the free-form conversation rolls on!
How many more Scotty P jokes will go unlaughed at? Many.
Stay tuned very, very soon for another special episode of the Twincast / Podcast.

Welcome to the latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast. This special episode has Scotty P and Seibertron's News Administrator Va'al chatting with IDW Transformers comic author Nick Roche.
Episode #129 "Nick Roche Talks Sins of the Wreckers" is available directly and in our RSS Feed and should appear on iTunes and Stitcher Radio within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Yes, you read right, this episode is all about the upcoming Transformers: Sins of the Wreckers from IDW Comics, and the author himself joins us to talk about the book and what it might bring readers. First up though, we'll tackle the truly hard questions about hotels and hard "ch" sounds.
Every interview and article with him uses this photo and it's really old but it's a good stock photo and we have to keep the joke alive.
The conception of the book is discussed next, as we learn what might have been in the past had this book come sooner. Why is it coming out now, and how heavy do our expectations weigh on its creator? Answers lie within the show, but we can go ahead and tell you that after this segment, you'll want to pretend it was good even if it turns out otherwise.
It was always destiny.
You may have noticed some familiar characters from other IDW Transformers titles in both previews, covers, and solicitations for Sins of the Wreckers. Nick lets us know what books you should read before, what books you should read during, and even sheds some light on how toys relate to IDW's plans.
Could've left off this black paint if it weren't for con exclusives.
Stakeout, Kup, and Wreckerleaks take center stage next. Why is Stakeout involved, and what might he have been doing all this time in the background? What's a "Wreckerleak" anyway? Does this megalomaniac author have any remorse for the torture of Kup? Find out these answers, plus what Prowl may or may not know already. Whatever you do, be sure to brush up on the IDW iteration of Kup before the release of Sins of the Wreckers.
You mean you didn't read Spotlight: Kup?
It's well known already that one of the most popular human characters from IDW Transformers will make an appearance once again in Roche's upcoming mini-series. Will Verity die? Like he could tell us now if we asked! You will find out more about her involvement, as well as Roadbuster's appearance, Whirl's lack of one, and even a bit about the color work on the book set to come our way from the one and only Josh Burcham.
All her fault? Basically, yeah. Maybe Prowl's too.
The mood of the landscapes in the book comes into play next in our discussion. Everything goes well until John Barber out-Christmases us, so then we just play sing-along with The Audio Knights Theatre and the interview ends. Only one of the things in this paragraphs actually happens, but tuning in will explain the insanity of the rest of it!
The last metroid is in captivity. The galaxy, is at peace.
The Transformers talk starts to wind down, but before we leave it, we ask Nick about his chance to write one of IDW's most complex characters: Arcee. Did he want her around for a reason, or was this just happenstance due to events in other books? Or is it really just a case of picking up Mr. Barber's daughter for the dance? Unlike the last paragraph of this post, the questions posed here do get answered in the show.
We finish out by finding out how you can get the book, as well as who might just have given the first issue a "thumbs up" without bribery being involved.
Fairly sure this wasn't related to this. Fairly.
Oh, and there's even a little talk of the incredible
Monster Motors mini-series that Mr. Roche collaborated on with Brian Lynch. Look out world, the Motors are eyeballing heading to an independent theater in limited distribution just like
one of Lynch's other art house productions.
There are no Transformers in this book, ok?
Our very grateful "Thank You!" to Nick Roche for taking the time out and appearing on this episode with us. We hope you enjoy the show, and be sure to pick up Sins of the Wreckers from IDW Publishing this November. The Twincast will return in a couple weeks with more of our regularly scheduled programming, and you can be certain more comic book talk will follow then.
Don't forget, the show only gets better if you tell us how. Drop us a review on
iTunes and be sure to tell us what you love, what you hate, and what you want to hear!
Not on the show to give your take? Probably not, so don't forget to keep the discussion going on the
