3A has launched their Bumblebee movie Blitzwing gallery and, wow, does this figure look good!? As expected from 3A this non-transforming figure looks just like it walked straight out of the movie with loads of details, articulation, metal parts and LED lights to really bring it to life. We're also getting our first look at his accessories which include weapons, a replaceable arm, and extra sets of hands.

The figure can be pre-ordered right now at the link above for $199 which does include shipping. Considering his size of 10.6 inches and list of features that's really not a terrible price for a figure like this. The full list of bullet points can be found below along with the full gallery. He's expected to see release sometime in the third quarter of 2019. Thanks to Nathaniel Prime for bringing this to our attention!

I hate those damn wings. Stupid G1 seeker tribute. Fold them away so they don't get all damaged in battle and make your jet mode unusable.

Y'know, now that I have a full body shot of him, I really don't see Starscream But With A Different Name. I mean, he doesn't terribly look like Blitzwing either, but there are enough details that the design doesn't really scream Starscream (pun very much intended) to me. Maybe my brain has just been subconsciously trained to identify him as a different character... #-o

Where would you rather have them be placed? I agree with you on the (un)practical design choice, but I believe they would still get damaged regardless of where they are placed.

Back to the figure, love it, love everything about the design, hopefully SS Blitzwing will be revealed in China on the 26th

He's already in a Starscream paint scheme what about G1/Animated Blitzwing colours ;)

I do like this but I really do wonder why they bother putting a lot of effort into a character that lasted about 10 seconds on screen (yes i'm being facetious)

another reason why i hate character deaths in general

Probably because they get the designs well in advance of seeing the movies so they just pick characters to make based on how cool they look, only to find out their entire screen presence in the movie can be spliced together from TV spots. Prime1 is also making a statue of him so someone on the movie's marketing team did a great job of selling companies on Blitzwing as a good choice for a high end collectible.

Yeah true that is the way it works.

It's just such a shame the design wasn't used throughout the movie. :-(

Lest we forget that Onslaught statue from TLK. One of only 2 cons that had a statue lined up from TLK, and it was that guy. Not Nitro Zeus, not Barricade, Onslaught.

Pretty sure it was cancelled though, after how disappointing he was and the film was in general. All we ever saw I think were mockups but no statue itself, and definitely no pre-orders.

That's cuz he is a fully-articulated figure; the article is mislabeled. 3A makes articulated figures, not statues.

Isn't this an action figure though and not a statue?

Also not a bash on the figure at all, but personally I prefer the look of the Studio Series one. Looks more uniform and how I remember him looking in the movie. This one looks a lot busier and the head looks a lot thinner than I remember. I assume this is more based on earlier concept art?

Someone actually did some side-by-side comparisons of it with the final movie model, and it's mostly pretty much spot-on, although the head does look thinner (wondering if that's just the angle/aperture warping it or not).

Seibertron is over at San Diego Comic-Con 2019's preview night, and we have something special for you Nemesis Prime and ThreeA fans out there, as you can read from the title, we have new images of the upcoming 3A Nemesis Prime figure, branded for the Bumblebee film. The expensive, hyper detailed toy looks to be a redeco of the 3A Optimus Prime also made for the Bumblebee film. We can see the red windows and optics, as well as the few teal highlights over the black and silver grey color scheme.

So, what are your thoughts on this new figure that was unveiled tonight? Is this a definite buy, or too rich for your blood, being a 3A item. Tell us in the Pub forums below!

Thanks to PrimeVsPrime on YouTube we have a review of the new ThreeZero/Three A deluxe Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime fully poseable non-transforming action figure. This thing is truly a work of toy art and appears to capture every subtle detail and nuance to what many have considered one of, if not thee best movie Optimus Prime designs seen so far. Whether you're a huge fan of the design or not, whether you're going to be buying this piece or not, PrimeVsPrime gives an excellent run down of the articulation, the stand, the blaster, every bit and piece you like to see in a review of one of these higher end items. Soundwave up for preorder in UK. Stands taller than Blitzscream too which is surprising. Something about the blockiness that detracts from the design rather than adding to it and the shoulder gun looks a bit off.

Thanks to the ThreeZero Twitter page, we have a tease for their next upcoming premium collectors figure: Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime!

The Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime design has caused quite a stir since it debuted in the Bumblebee film back in 2018, and we have had the pleasure of getting both a transforming Studio Series toy and a prior Deluxe ThreeZero figure of this design. This new take by ThreeZero is a larger and even more premium version of their original deluxe Optimus Prime, featuring a diecast metal frame, over 140 points of articulation, and it stands an impressive 19 inches tall (so on par with Combiner Wars Devastator in terms of height, and certainly it will be heavier).

While we only have the 1 teaser picture provided by ThreeZero, we will certainly see more images and get more information soon.

Check out the teaser below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

I hope you are well,
I just thought i'd let you know that I uploaded a review for Threezeros latest Premium Scale figure, that being Bumblebee. In the review I also show a comparison between this premium scale figure to the DLX version and thought it may be of interest to you https://youtu.be/MmGmFwCk97o

Thanks to ThreeZero themselves on their store, we have a full reveal for the newest addition to their Transformers Premium Series figures: Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime!

As you might recall, we have news that they were preparing to do the full reveal, and the full figure itself does not disappoint. This impressive action figure stands 19 inches tall, the same height as Combiner Wars Devastator pretty much, and features a mind boggling 140 points of articulation. He also features insane detailing like we have come to expect from our live action heroes, as well as some LED light up effects.

He is expected to hit stores next June in 2021, and is retailing for around $500 USD. Check out some images of the impressive beast below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

Do you like your Transformers Siege Optimus Prime? But do you sometimes with it didn't transform? Well, Threezero has just the thing for you. Introducing new DLX Siege Optimus Prime. It looks just like Siege Optimus, kibble and all, and with awesome poseability and an amazing deco. But of course, does not transform. This toy was revealed by Threezero themsevles and it should be up for preorder on their web site July 24th. The price should be around the $200 mark as that is the price of their previous DLX Optimus Prime releases.

just... just paint the seige figure for like $6. and keep it's ability to transform. i get high-end action figures for Tarn and the like, but when you're LITERALLY just taking the design of an already existing figure, what is even the point?

This reveal makes no sense. It's a highly posable action figure of the siege cartoon figure, who is itself based on the CAD of the siege toy. so basically, a non-transforming Siege Prime with an ab crunch and interchangeable hands.

weird

You got it right though, this is based on the character we see in the media, as they did with their other Optimus Primes, all based on how they appear onscreen down to the very detail. It just so happens that this time around, the media was based directly on a toy.

So yeah, it becomes beyond redundant, but at least we can get the pattern they are going for in their releases.

As I wrote above, they maybe don't even know a transforming figure is out there. To them they are taking the design of an onscreen character model.

"Do you like your Transformers Siege Optimus Prime? But do you sometimes wish it didn't transform? Well, Threezero has just the thing for you."  :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE: I'm tasting a little sarcasm on this sarcasm sandwich... Mmm, yep that's definitely well deserved sarcasm.  :BOT:

Haha, glad you liked that bit. I was trying to do one of those Big Pappy Sponsorship jokes we see on SNL

For all the people complaining about this Siege Prime, it wasn't made for you. This was made for the same people that buy $400 action figures regularly, people that don't care about alt modes, people that don't "play" with their toys, people that just want a cool looking figure for their $5,000 shelving wall. If you bought the original Voyager figure then you're probably not that person.

I'd rather it look like it's certainly worth the money (like the 3A DOTM Optimus or the Bumblebee movie version) than have a figure that's basically the same but bigger, has the transformation pieces glued shut, has some added details, and adds a few more points of articulation here and there.

And you still wouldn't have as nice looking a figure as this. ;)^

Well this is disappointing.

They really hit Bumblebee Movie characters out of the park - DLX Bumblebee, Blitzwing, and Optimus are all fantastic. I'm sure this will be very nice, but still...

Branching out to other corners of the Transformers universe feels like a waste of effort when Dropkick and Shatter desperately need some love in the DLX line to round out the Bumblebee cast.
