Brawn as a Titan Master is unexpected. Guess there goes any hope for a redeco of Gears as Brawn. Clobber/Grimlock is a meh, too.
Kinda expected Weirdwolf and Highbrow to happen, so not exactly enthused about their reveal. Don't get me wrong, they look great! It's just I had a feeling they'd happen eventually.
If only Scrounge came by himself... *sigh*
Now for the one thing arhat legitimately got me excited:
OVERLORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros-
Overlord was clearly the highlight of the day.
Wolfwire and Highbrow look okay.
That SDCC set looks cool.
I'll be grabbing a Deluxe Groove in May.
Astrotrain looks cool but I may try to hold out for Takara's
Cons-
Those Titan Master mini heads are a lame cop out!
Alpha Trion is a pass
Hasbro's Technobot set is a pass (Takara all the way)
Reflector should've been a retail release with better head sculpts and paint apps.
No mention of Legend class figures at all. (No Kickback, Gnaw, Brawn gears repaint)

A gamble for sure - Takara might pull an Encore on you and give you a black and white Astrotrain.

Fun fact: it was a canceled retail release. Remember how the "Thrilling 30" series Legends class skipped a whole ton of numbers? Now we know one!YoungPrime wrote:Reflector should've been a retail release
