Loving the Grimmy artwork. I wonder if he's going to have a significant role in the CW series, and if so, they release a CW Grimlock. Could we even see combining Dinobots?

But they're preexisting Aerialbot/Stunticon/Protectobot molds. The Grimlock pic is to show that, like Grimlock, this new combiner will have an "Independent" personality.

All evidence we've seen thus far seems to point to CW focusing squarely on the classic G1 combiners we know and love. Superion, Menasor, Devastator, Defensor, etc.

That's something of a sweeping generalization. I don't care much about those guys and I feel more connected to the RiD combiners like Rail Racer.

No idea, but I never heard anything about it being included, so I assumed it wasn't. I did kinda miss that round of voting though.

Windblade didn't get revealed until SDCC, so this new combiner might similarly not get revealed until a big convention event.

Windblade didn't get revealed until SDCC, so this new combiner might similarly not get revealed until a big convention event.

didn't we establish that her character design was unveiled at SDCC; and her specifications were revealed before that; around may I believe.

Somehow I missed what was selected for the torso, does anyone know?

I'm hoping the Hot Spot mold won that since any other version would just be either a Superion redeco with Stunticon legs or a Menasor redeco with Aerialbot arms, and both of those don't sound interesting. With the Hot Spot mold, the Protectobots gets some kind of representation in this and at least some creativity is involved.

No, those were revealed to us with the first design concepts at SDCC, which was also when we learned of her Kabuki theme.
