Heely Casting Calling for Washington DC Residents

Casting is looking for SAG background talent adults and SAG or NON-UNION children for the new Dreamworks feature film, Transformers 2, directed by Michael Bay.
Needed are SAG background men and women age 7-65, and SAG or Non-UNION boys and girls, ages 7-18, all ethnicities, for a scene set in a museum in Washington DC. Shooting will take place in the beginning of June 2008.

I think it's most likely either the American History Museum or the Air and Space Museum. Though unlikely, it could also be the Natural History Museum...

With it being in a specific location however it may be leaning to certain directions but I'm not going to give in to wild speculation but it's nice to see production is ramping up.

This was the direction I was aiming when I speculated on the Natural History Museum as a source. Last time I was there, the Smithsonian had all five species of dinosaurs the Dinobots are based on in that museum. However, as doomboy pointed out, it's extremely unlikely we'll be seeing any animal based Transformers in this movie, considering the... reluctance the producers and writers apparently have for featuring such characters.
