---
If you're still reading this then we can report that thanks to site sponsor Entertainment Earth, has updated their listings for the second spoiler pack and in doing so, have revealed the bot inside to be...
*last chance if you don't want to know, look away now!*
Nemesis Prime!
Also included is a Slitherfang repaint in red, and one of the swords, and two of the guns from the 2018 Amazon Exclusive version of Power of the Primes Nemesis Prime. What's interesting here is that while the trailer comes from the Earthrise Leader Class Prime, Nemesis Prime himself is a redeco'ed Seige Voyager Class Prime.
Here is the new updated description for the figure as taken from Entertainment Earths website:
Transformers Generations War for Cybertron Trilogy Leader Nemesis Prime Spoiler Pack - Exclusive

Hidden within this pack are spoilers for the War for Cybertron series! Fans shouldn't decode the Cybertronian if they don't want key events from the show revealed! That's the SIEGE Nemesis Prime with the ER trailer.
OOOOhhhhhhh.................
Well well well, this make that set MUCH more interesting. Especially because that ugly-ass truck that I skipped suit Nemesis Prime to a T.
If this pop in at Walmart.CA, I'll be preordering.

BUT
Since I have him and POTP Nemesis Prime and the deco on this version isn't exactly the same as the Takara one as well as lacking the same sword I now have this cool idea I got to do.
POTP Nemesis Prime with the Takara Siege Nemesis Prime and this boxset one as his henchmen, this fits just right with the kind of character I have my version of Nemesis as, it would be the perfect ego boost that fits my version of the character, now whether this would be actual loyal henchmen or just a couple poor souls that Nemesis captured and converted into lookalikes I haven't decided yet.

Autobot N wrote:But why spoil it this early when we don’t even know when the Earthrise season is coming out? You’d think Nemesis popping up would be a big spoiler that should be kept secret.
Unfortunately it's kind of a no win situation. Even though the Netflix toys that are WM Exclusive "claim" to cover the trilogy in general, by the packaging art and releases its pretty obvious the first 2 waves all center around Siege. If this spoiler box pertains to Earthrise, then so be it, but the verbiage in the description make it seem past tense, as if it was supposed to be included in Siege, which would make the release not really a spoiler at all, just another non-show toy.
One thing is for certain, a few years down the road, the overall positive reaction to most of these toys wont be questioned, but it will be confusing as heck.
When someone says WFC "Megatron" is that...
The Toy
The Series Character based on the toy?
The Toy, based on the Series, Based on the Toy?
PLus there's Earthrise toys in the Siege Animated Series, and no doubt, the cross pollination will continue...

Second: The Walmart description loudly announces that this "CONTAINS WHEAT". I assume that might be for the clay or slime or whatever but I find this to be hilarious as hell.

I kind of agree that the mold actually suits Nemesis well. Truck mode looks nice and mean. And mistransformed.

Totally 100% going to buy this
Nemesis Prime is my favorite character
Sooooo Awesome
I'm to excited and speechless.....

It also says that in kinda big text on the box. I looked at that and giggled while I was standing in line to purchase the first spoiler.

I already have Siege Nemesis Prime though. I also have an extra set of cannons and swords from the PotP figure. However, I'll regret not getting this anyway though since it'll most definitely not make it to half price discount like Ultra Magnus and I want that Slitherfang. At the very least, Siege NP looks more like RiD Scourge and Netflix NP looks more like well, Nemesis Prime. If that makes any sense.
It's just kinda annoying that this is two additional uses of the trailer that doesn't come with any of the new Optimus pieces from the upgrade set. It would've been nice if both this and Alternate Universe OP had Roller, the Ion Rifle, the ax and maybe that jetpack too for at least AUOP. I guess it makes sense but it would've been awesome if they added them in, especially for AUOP who got nothing extra. You have them, might as well use them more. Which is also why Netflix NP is coming with the cannons and sword I take it.

Energon cube x3.
Slitherfang.

slitherfang is an accessory and not one of the 2 figures? I guess the trailer could be the accessory; thanks

There could be a very good reason as to why its the Siege mode, normal Optimus hasn't scanned His earth mode yet

but the Optimus in the same Netflix wave is the Earthrise mold sans trailer

Ignoring the series and all Nemesis (Siege) and Optimus (Earthrise) having two different looking truck modes despite their robot mode is in my opinion pretty cool.

I think head canon wise the TT version will be Car Robots/RID Black Convoy/Scourge while this one will be straight up Nemesis Prime made by Unicron (a la Unicron Trilogy), which fits since we're getting so many movie figures (to say nothing of a giant Unicron). I want to stop short of calling him Grand Scourge, though.

It was on POTP Nemesis.
Anyways this toy is all kinds of WTF as it combines 3 different toylines. No one got it right, obviously so. Pretty cool that I am surprised by it. Won,t get it though.

Can we just compile a list of everything we thought it would be? I know Shockwave was the most common guess, but what else? Astrotrain and his leisurely stroll?

There was rumors about ER Soundwave with cassettes. Unless it's a voyager box?

That's no rumor. Netflix Soundwave was confirmed upfront to come with Laserbeak and Ravage in the last Fan First Friday video.-Kanrabat- wrote:Decepticon Stryker wrote:william-james88 wrote:No one got it right, obviously so.

Oh yeah, as a voyager box.

Nemesis has had a Matrix plenty of times, though, usually called the Dead Matrix, Dark Matrix, Matrix of Conquest, something like that. Many, many Nemesis Prime figures have had Matrixes.

you mean the figure that was so widely available that nobody outside of japan had access to it? so, because a few people in japan were able to buy it, it shouldn't see the light of day ever again, or be available to anyone else that may have wanted it? good argument

Having two dark colored versions of the Earthrise mold might of not been in Hasbro's best interests.

We also have some interesting in-hand pictures from Weibo and Reddit to share, thanks to a tip from Seibertron.com forum user Omegatron. These are apparently in-hand pictures of Netflix Soundwave. The biggest difference from the product shots above, though, is that the visor on his face is YELLOW instead of red.
We have seen leaked test shots of other recent figures, such as Earthrise Ramjet and Dirge, with clear, colorless canopies that show up in the product photography on the box, but the actual products shipped had clear orange canopies instead. Similarly, in the product shot above, neither Optimus Prime nor Soundwave's product photos on the back of their boxes match what we can see of the actual product housed inside through the clear plastic window on the front of their respective boxes.
What do you think of these new images of the second wave of Netflix War for Cybertron Trilogy Voyager Class toys? Are the extra paint apps and deco tweaks on Earthrise Optimus Prime worth double dipping on the figure? Do you need a classic Earth mode Soundwave in your collection, as opposed to the Cybertronian form he received in last year's Siege line? Tell us what you think in the discussion forums, and as always, stay tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest news on all things Transformers!

I'll be getting the Optimus Prime pack too, if only for the exclusive Battle Masters. Gotta Catch 'Em All! I'm not sure if I like the Netflix colors better than the regular Earthrise version of the figure, though. I do like that they FINALLY remembered to paint the yellow rectangle on the pelvis this time, and more of the lower legs are colored in blue instead of being left as gray plastic, but those truck windows look so drab without a little blue tint to them. The darker red and blue used also look more drab overall. It's going to come down to being able to have both the Earthrise and Netflix version in hand simultaneously to decide who gets to be the version of the figure I put in my display.

I'll be getting Optimus, but I don't care about the gold battle masters, so I'll probably just sell those.
Soundwave has been retooled to become a tape deck.

As for Soundwave, red or yellow I really don't care what color his eyes are, but it really annoys me that his chest is outlined yellow while the stripes on the sides are gold. It should all be gold like the CG! Even the Siege figures got it right, what were they thinking?

Here in the UK, Smyths Toys do stock the first wave of the Netflix range, including the Ultra Magnus spoiler box, so I don't see why they wouldn't stock the second wave too. That being said, last time I was in a Smyths there were a hefty number of Netflix Voyagers and Ultra Magnus boxes, so perhaps they're not selling very well and that could de-incentivise Smyths from ordeing more Netflix product?

Smyths I went into after the show aired had almost sold out of netflix bots and they were very well stocked before that. They are even look to be restocking omega supreme at some point so they must be doing okay on titans sales too.
As for the figures, it's going to be down to seeing primes colors in hand, the chest windows (which looked just as off on standard earthrise prime) might be better for having a thin clear blue plastic sheet carefully glued into each of them.
Soundwaves a pass, RED version wins non kibble hands down and the siege cassette bots are pretty bad anyways so no loss there.
Posted by MeGrimlock78 on August 29th, 2020 @ 6:29am CDT
I couldn't stand the battle damaged window on the Siege version.
Now if only they would release blue Rumble without three other cassettes I don't want...
