As a side note, wouldn't it make more sense if the line was renamed Worlds Collide as a whole, given that it's not just characters related to Bee, with the four packs getting new names?

Same... My gut tells me this will be just some repaint (and possible retool) of BW Dinobot...
Would they really release Swoop in a store-exclusive line??
I know it probably wouldn't be shocking, and maybe they would since it's not leader class...
But IF it's THE Swoop that's supposed to match the two SS86 Dinobots, I will be very, very surprised.

I'm not, not after we just got a Titans Return retool in a BB WFC box. They're just using the name of whatever the latest non-SS Generations line is.
The BB line has long since evolved from a line related to Bee to Target's exclusive Transformers line using Bee as the face of the line since Bee sells.
We already got toy colors Blackarachnia and we know we're getting a toy color Scorponok and there's the theory of a toy color Terrorsaur coming in BB so a toy colors Dinobot is a pretty logical conclusion.
Part of me wants it to be Kingdom Dinobot in yellow...
Now that would generate some buzz! Let's get Megatron repainted as Optimus Prime while we're at it.

I think you might be right, especially with the reasoning behind the line name.

I must have missed something or forgotten something, which Swoop are you talking about?

Before Sludge was confirmed, there was a rumor Swoop would be a Voyager for SS86.

Do you think the Dinobot mold has a mutant head built in? Or, would this be a retool for a new head for the BB line? I'm assuming the Grimlock head is the alternate head for the mold and the only other beast mold with 3 potential heads is the Megatron mold and for that the smiling head was only seen as part of a factory error and then not used when it should have been.
So far, I think we've seen an alternate head for every beast mold except for Terrorsaur.

The only Studio Series molds that are apparently off limits are the ones that represent characters from the Paramount movies. If it's Studio Series 86, then there's no issue using it for Selects.

And Jazz as well. SS86 molds are fair game it would seem.
Edit: Hell, just looking at SS86 and Buzzworthy Bee, it wouldn't be out of question to have both red and blue swoop be part of SS86 with one being a regular release and another in the Buzzworthy line. We've already seen them change the deco on ER Cliff and SS86 Kup for the BB line, so I wouldn't rule that out as a possibility.

Price point?
With the big-ass Bug-Bee re-release that have lights and sounds, that thing was leader priced.
Plus there's the deluxes two-packs.
The four packs.
Well, anything goes in that line, really.
If you talk about what was found in the system, there may not be any "leader price" yet, but there may already be. Especially if the price is MORE expensive. The prices keep going up and up after all.
For G2 dinobots specifically, I don't think they will ever make sense in the Buzzworthy line. Those are Select written all across them.

Like what they did with kup

I believe with the Buzzworthy subline, we are dealing with a Movie1 Big Daddy or ROTF Bludgeon scenario.
The retailers are sold on the subline name and that gives a gateway to Hasbro to shoot out homages for the collectors via a proven seller line for the retailers.
Winners on both sides; collectors get the homage repaints they want; the retailers get a good selling line, exclusive to them, that is a vetted profit maker.

It's the Legacy bit that confuses me most

Like I said before, they're just using whatever the latest non-SS Generations line just like how they used WFC to sell a Titans Return retool, doesn't matter that Dinobot is a Kingdom mold. Nothing more than that.

The only Titans Return retool in the line, Fangry in the Worlds Collide set with a War for Cybertron Trilogy logo in the top left corner of the box. Fangry is as much a mold transplant going from Prime Wars to WFC as Dinobot would be going from WFC to Legacy.

The Buzzworthy line is truly an "anything goes" line. So we could have "reissues" / repaints of UC, RiD (new and old) classic Beast Wars, Old Generations like Universe, or maybe even Animated.
Just imagine, a reissue/repaint of Animated Blackout in the Buzzworthy line.
This could be possible.

Another “street date” has come and gone, but still I’ve neither seen nor heard of the new Buzzworthy wave showing up at retail in the US.

It's just an internal date of when they could sell a toy, they could get the toy at any time either before (hence why they have that date) or after. It's not indicative of when they will actually get the toy. Hence why it's internal and a release date shared to the public.

These three figures are now being found at US Targets. The first sighting was Ben Yee himself in New jersey.
These same figures were also recently found in the UK at Forbidden Planet Southampton. And speaking of UK sightings, it looks like they are getting caught up on all of Studio Series with both the core class assortment (Shockwave and ravage) at Forbidden Planet and voyager class Soundwave at Smyths. Those UK sighints come from TFW200 board member Prescient.

All silliness aside, I'm biased towards clear windows, but the BB one seems less fragile...

Don't count on it. I don't think they listed the previous individual SS releases or the 2-packs online, they were in store only. It seems they only list their exclusives that come in solid cases online anymore (T-Wrecks, Road Rage, Worlds Collide, etc.)
I haven't seen a figure from a mixed case of any size listed on their site since Kingdon Galvatron for WFC or Bee movie Thrust for SS.

They did though? I have seen every single Buzzworthy release on Target.com at one point or another. That's where I ordered 3 of the deluxes I got from the line so far
