KABAM AND HASBRO UNVEIL TRANSFORMERS: FORGED TO FIGHT
More Than Thirty Years of Transformers History Collides in an Epic High-Definition 3D Action-Fighting Game
SAN FRANCISCO – December 1, 2016 – Kabam, a world leader of massively multiplayer mobile games for a global audience, and Hasbro Inc. today announced the title and key details of TRANSFORMERS: Forged to Fight, a new high-definition, action-fighting mobile game set in an immersive world. The game will feature authentic Transformers “more than meets the eye” action, allowing players to engage with Optimus Prime, Megatron and many other popular Autobots and Decepticons in a stunning 3D environment. The new title will enter beta testing in select territories soon and will be available worldwide in Spring 2017.
TRANSFORMERS: Forged to Fight will give players access to nearly every era of the franchise’s history, challenging gamers to assemble the ultimate team of Transformers characters, including Autobots and Decepticons from the animated TV series, blockbuster films, as well as fan-favorites from the Transformers comic book series and Hasbro’s line of iconic figures. As fans assemble their team, they will forge alliances, battle other players and dive into a unique storyline that goes beyond good versus evil.
“TRANSFORMERS: Forged to Fight embraces the best that the Transformers brand has to offer, allowing players to collect the most memorable Autobots and Decepticons from every era of the brand’s thirty-plus year history,” said Mark Blecher, Senior Vice President, Digital Gaming and Corporate Development at Hasbro. “We’re excited to work with Kabam to bring this unique mobile game to life, and think fans will be thrilled with the final product.”
In TRANSFORMERS: Forged to Fight, explore an epic new universe where multiple realities collide to form a massive planetary battlefield. Players will assemble a team of Autobots and Decepticons from across time and space to fight against a world of corrupted Transformers and their villainous overlords. The game features amazing visuals, intense one-on-one battles, meaningful robot to vehicle converting action and deep RPG elements. Transformers such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream and Grimlock will level up over time, unleashing powerful new abilities and devastating robot-vehicle attacks.
“The Transformers franchise and its characters are larger than life, and Kabam is working closely with Hasbro to develop a game that lives up to that expectation,” said Mike McCartney, Executive Producer for TRANSFORMERS: Forged to Fight. “It will be a thrilling experience for long-time fans of the brand as well as newcomers, offering players incredible visuals, action-packed gameplay, and a truly immersive world.”
TRANSFORMERS: Forged to Fight is being developed by Kabam Vancouver, the studio who created Fast & Furious: Legacy and Marvel Contest of Champions, a top grossing game on the App Store.

I don't see a Street Fighter/Mortal Kombat style fighting game working on a mobile device unless they drastically dumb down the controls to Atari 2600/NES button levels. Or use some odd set of slide/swipe control mechanics-which I don't see performing well with the graphics level they look to be going for.
The highly polished video of how they want the game to look is pretty though.

Wasn't there a Mortal Kombat released for mobile devices a while back?

There was, and is. The same style is used for Injustice and WWE Immortals. It's tap the screen to attack and then other combos to trigger special abilities, all of which are upgraded via cards which can be won ... or purchased.
I expect this will be something similar. Having played both MK and Immortals they're quite fun, simple yes, but they need to be to play on phones and tablets (I found they worked best on my phone as I only used my thumbs and they don't reach the middle of my tablet)

Looks like there will be a new mobile game for Android. The preview looks really cool! It reminds me a little of War For Cybertron.

Don't ask where they came from.
I've got some with some dialog between Optimus and Marissa Fairborn, but I think we are already image heavy.

However I looked at them coming out of a couple raids in Earth Wars, my brain had to adjust between style

As I understand it from those in beta (who also have played Marvel COC) yes.

As a MCOC player from the beginning, this is a easy pass. I'm not going to spend the money, so much that I can buy a masterpiece figure for real, for a character on the phone.

When it loads you see the news page(bonecrasher is a bug)
All bases have the same basic lay out,the seven bots you see are the bots you have to fight when you raid someone, not all of them though just five, they also collect gold which are used for lvling bots
Your avatar is determined by your strongest bot, kindda like a champion
When you go to the fight tap this is what you see
The story mode has deferent acts and chapters
Each part has prancing paths as well that's why there not 100%

I was one of the thousands of players of their game Star Wars Uprising.
They suddenly shut it down without warning after hundreds spent on game.
( I personally knew people that had spent thousands )
Apple even suggests not to buy in game content from them, they offer terrible
support and the in game purchases are overly expensive and are completely random.
This game is likely a reskin of Star Wars Uprising and will no doubt fail due to the
terrible support and game content for purchase. I wasted a year on SWU only to end up with
nothing but a app icon and a screen shot of my achievements. There are entire line groups
full of angry Kabam players. Download at your own risk!

Then please explain "I can spend, but don't want to".

Anyway, in a meta light, I couldn't find the "reply/quote" button on this forum after I originally replied. Why is it missing?

They aren't officially supplied pictures. Shauyaun's username is on the top of the screen.
