According to Allspark.com, a leaked PDF Script Treatment for Transformers the Movie Part 3 has been made available by a person who chooses to go by the handle "Beachcomber".
Seibertron.com has noticed some inconsistancies with this "treatment" from the original 2007 film's leaked script, dubbed Prime Directive, that was made available for a very short time way back when. As always, and as is stated by the Allsparkians, take this with a cup of salt and enjoy it for what it is.
Check out the email from "Beachcomber" and the treatment by clicking here.

What doesn't sell it to me, though, is the obvious lack of carryover from ROTF: Jolt, Sideswipe, and Wheelie are all notable in their absences.

Anyone take the time to notice if the image for the word "draft" is repeated? Seems like that'd be an easy way to debug this. If a duplicate of the word "draft" shows up more than once (not the word, but one of the images used for the word "draft"), then I'd call it an early april fool's day joke.

I don't find that surprising at all. Why rehash established characters when you can throw new ones out there to get collectors back in stores to buy them? Honestly, of those 3, Sideswipe is really the only heavyweight, and what more can you do except repaint and/or remold him. This is especially true if the Hasbro "suits" actually do want to distance themselves from ROTF.
Anyhow, love the twist at the end, but I agree that the validity of this "leaked script" should most definitly be taken with a mountain of salt.

Though I would like to think Hasbro doesn't want their flagship brand's image to be sullied further with more crude humor and mediocre stories and characters, I don't think they really care as long as they make more money.
And while I do like what little I've read of the "script", I'll believe it when I see it...on the big screen.

It can't be real though, sadly. After Ravage appears on page 94, it's pretty much guaranteed this is faked. Ugh...

then some things will need to be tweaked a little, spelling inconsistencies (site instead of sight 4 times!!!) will need to be removed, Bay will need to amp the explosions a little, some of the dialogue will need to be readjusted, and some of the weaponry will need to be tweaked (like Bay does, with a buzzsaw).
But omg, this is great! I mean, it has a fun factor of 10! No annoying little dogs and stupid things like that. Sure, Ravage is back, but he could easily be edited out. The abundant use of CG scenes might make Bay tremble in his ball-cap, but overall, this is what it should be. Time travel and overdose of past lines aside, this really does read well. Best of all, it cleans up a whole lot of problems and plot holes, while still conveying the Story of Spik... I mean Sam.
I can't believe it prompted me to actually write OMG. My fingers are officially crossed.

If any of you fall for this (or even worse, want this to be the actual film), then I don't know who is sadder - the hoaxer or the hoaxee.

One last thing, this would be the most expensive movie ever. There are robot modes in almost every scene. Puting a Transformer on screen costs money and hours of work from the animators. I'm not sure that ILM have the computer power to generate this movie. The commentary on ROTF said that when rendering Devestator for the first time the computer blew up. How would they handle constant robots and two combiners.

I hope to my self that was the real deal and something along those lines gets made.
The is brand integrity and then there is brand integration.
There are more than enough military vehicles involved for bay and his Army pals to get jazzed over.
Character absences from TF2? Ultimately a good thing, and as they travel back in time Skids and Mudflap get retconned out of existence.
Too much robot cgi? Pffrt, first we complain we don't get enough then we complain we get too much. With the gross from Shelfwarmers Revenge of The Fail-line the effects could feasibly be pulled off, even if they were slightly reduced.
The two leaked treatments for the prior films weren't that far off finished product, but even if this was total fan wank it was fun to read.

That...felt like a terrible waste of time to me.
There is no way possible that this is the real script idea. Why?
1.) The grammar is terrible. I have no room to talk, given that my grammar is terrible, however, it takes one to know one, and whoever wrote this is clearly not a professional. Too many errors.
2.) It's TOO Geewunified. Borrowing some elements would've been fine, but to this level of excess? No. Bay wouldn't go bassackwards at this point. Especially with the robot designs and Prime's vehicle mode. No.
3.) It jumped back and forth way too much. Way too much. The first movie suffered from horrific jump cuts. They handled this aspect of the film making process much better in ROTF, and I sincerely doubt Bay would fail to employ the same methods that gave him such a rousing success with the sequel. Bay's a creature of habit, if he sees that something's working, he sticks with it.
4.) It would alienate the audience far too much (which would hurt their bottom line), and it would be an absolute snorefest. If you, like me, thought the first was boring, this one would make the first Bayhemer look like a fast paced, super epic. (Yes, this was really that bad.)
5.) I see Devastator as being a one off. I mean, considering all of the clones in the Egypt battle, it would've been easy for them to form an army of Devastators, yet only one existed. Why? (I mean besides budget and time) Why now, all of a sudden, would combiners be a dime a dozen like this? It just doesn't sit right with me. It feels...fake. Terribly fake.
6.) Anyone....ANYone could buy a stamp and make their's look official.
I will say this, there were some great Sam moments, but without his parents in the mix, it just doesn't work as well. I mean, if you're going to have a human cast, have the whole cast. They work better as a unit, rather than split up and others not being used at all.
IF (and that's a tremendous if) this thing happens to be even 50% real, then I can finally say this would be one TF movie I could find myself skipping. Unless it was wow inducing and really made a dent in the box office and wowed audiences....I don't see myself giving in to watch a mess like what was seen in this joke of a story.
It screamed fanfiction. As fanfiction goes, it wasn't too bad. Not great, not even close, but not too bad. As for TF3? No. Doesn't even remotely feel like a Bay helmed "masterpiece".

Starscream would never destroy the Allspark. He needed it to take command of the Decepticons. So how were the Autobots fooled by a simple explosion. Wouldn't it still give of readings if it was on the other side of Mars. Also, Mars is converted into a new Cybertron and the Autobots set up shop. Why did they go there and how did they know it was there? The Decepticons push them off and onto earth. The humans just say "sure build a city here, even though your enemies are not far away and can destroy our cities at will". Please tell me which of these things make sense. Another thing, MB loves Sam's parent's and would insist they were in it.

That said, if (very big if for a very small possibility) this was a real draft, then I do hope we get to see more of Ratchet than ROTF allowed (maybe a full transformation sequence for once). And, a note to the producers whatever the story; keep Jolt and Sideswipe!

Why? Why are these decepticons so weak? They are definitely depicted as a bunch of incapacitated warriors.

I'm gonna give it a shot... Okay this took me about 30 minutes.
Optimus agrees to reveal their existence to the world to prevent war between the US and Egypt for destroying the Pyramids. The population is split between acceptance and terror. Megatron is being repaired while Starscream harbors traitorous thoughts. Leo, Sam and Mikaela open a side business of selling Motorcycle and Car calendars attached to her fathers repair/custom shop. Simmons has officially joined up with NEST as their PR guy since the reveal.
A disturbance around Neptune has caught the attention of astronomers as its image disappear from view. It appears that a Primordial Black Hole has entered the system. When Neptune completely disappears, a pulse is emitted from the Black Hole. Every bot, Autobot on Earth or Decepticon on Saturn's Moon, takes notice.
Megatron laughs maniacally on the repair slab, Optimus tells the humans that it's not just a Black Hole and Starscream panics as he exclaims to Megatron, "That's Unicron! What are we going to do?" Megatron laughs as he answers, "We Die."
Unicron eats the Decepticon moon base and they flee to Mars. The NEST force improvises and sends a frontline to Mars. The final battle between the Bot's and Con's takes place on the barren surface of Mars until Unicron closes in.
Together the two rival forces team up to destroy this beast the only way they can: Infiltrate his chassis, locate his core and disable the EM fields that keep his Black Hole 'battery' from devouring him from the inside out.
Everyone dies and Sam is the only one left and alone in Unicron's Core. Thinking of his parents and everyone else on earth, he throws himself into the mechanics in a heroic sacrifice that results in Unicron's self destruction. Humanity is saved and forever after the new shadow in the sky is a reminder of Witwicky's mantra: No Sacrifice, No Victory!
The End.
[edit- I kinda like this idea, I'm gonna flesh it out some and put it up in the Transtopia forum.]

Then i started to reflect upon what i had just read, and some elements in the script started to become not so great. After a good nights sleep i have become more and more unsatisfied with the whole time travel aspect. I personally do not see any need for the Transformers to be reformattet into vehicles of the 80'ties. I am fine with Optimus Prime being a longnosed truck (though i would not mind losing the blue flames).
To me, the Transformers is more appealing, when their story takes place in the same present, that i myself is living in (and this comes from a guy, who is not really that satisfied with the two movies so far). Personally i would prefer them (Michael Bay & company) to improve on what they have already established (and by improve i mean get a descent story put together this time), instead of doing something totally different, as it is my feeling this leaked script is.
Finally i was also hoping for Unicron to be in the third movie. More or less for no other reason than i am curious for his moviedesign (because after the first two movies i have more or less given up upon the moviescripts).
So in essence i for my part hope this leaked script here is indeed a fans creation, and not the actual script.

I've never been a fan of Wheeljack or Perceptor but they are infinitely preferable to the awful twins. Havin actually enjoyed Defiance, I'd like to see Prowl in the next one. I loved the parents in the first one but they were terribly written in ROTF.
I also hope alien heads are kept to a minimum. Prime has a G1-esque head, why couldn't the others?
Anyway, I would be very happy to see this in the cinema. It's Shakespeare compared to ROTF, but then so is your average tech spec.

Thank you! I tried to read.... But time travel? Everyone taking alt modes of 80's vehiles?
To those that liked that...... "story", is this really what you want? Personaly, i felt that was an insult to anything TF related. This is not G1. We don't need these G1 refrances. Anyways, the story was so cheezy.... I mean seriously. I don't get it.
If this is what "The fans" want to see in a TF movie, then no wonder Bay & company have steered clear of fan made scripts and ideas. Unbelieveable.
Posted by MegatronSRT8 on December 13th, 2009 @ 10:58pm CST
Also, I can't remember but does Paramount own Knight Rider? If not then the KITT references would never make it into the script as amusing as they were. Ever notice Bumblebee only quotes paramount owned properties like Star Trek and not Star Wars?

1. In agreeance with others here that it has far too much fan wank to be real sence Bay seems to go out of his way to remove or alter anything fan related beyond fan recignition. Sam was given the nickname Spike and his Grandfather was called Sparkplug. Starscream had "Cobra" inprinted on his cocpit and was described to regain G1 coloring that I doubt he'll ever gain outside the toy line. The place where Sam grandfather lived was allso called "Powerglide".
Aside from the fan wank this allso seemed to be severly lacking in the human eliment that Bay seems to love. Namely if they did the whole engagement thing it would take the entire movie for either Sam to pop the question or for Mikala to answer it, it wouldn't happen as quickly as that script showed.
While the opening looked accurate with the first two movies they didn't have an accurate ending that fits meaning Optimus Prime's opening and closeing monologs.
2. Reasons it could be real. The amount of bad story telling and plot holes that fit the inconsistancys with the first two movies. Namely the return of Brawl, Ravage, and Frenzy who are all dead. Granted Ravage and Frenzy can be exsplained away as they show up in the past and therefore haven't died yet but Brawl was part of the Combaticons in the future after his death.
Basically threwout reading I felt that the characters seemed to all change between 2 or 3 different personalitys. That of their G1 counterparts, personalitys that are actully consistant with the movie and personalitys that just seemed to be pulled from the ass of whoever wrote the thing. Sam in the begining for example the words "wise beyond his years" caught me as the first clue this was fake because that doesn't sound like either Sam or Spike and non of his actions passed that point seemed to fit that description.
Now the main reason this has got to be fake is the main plot. Time travel. Non of the abouve really proves anything as it's all just opinion and speculation but the fact that the whole plot revolves around traveling to the past is a dead give away that this is fake. Why because of the contract with GMC. For all intents and purpuses the live action movies have changed Transformers from being a toy commercial to being a car commercial. GMC uses Transformers to advertise their new vehicles that haven't been relised yet and all the Transformers in this are takeing on the forms of old vehicles. There's nothing new for GMC to advertise in that script hence it can't be a real script.
