TFcon Chicago Update: Artist Sara Pitre-Durocher, Actor Richard Newman to Attend, New Hotel Block

We are honored to welcome Transformers creator Bob Budiansky to TFcon Chicago 2016. Mr. Budiansky is responsible for much of the writing of the original Marvel Transformers comic, and conceived the names of most of the original Transformers including Megatron. He also wrote the vast majority of the descriptive tech spec biographies printed on the Transformers toy packages that Hasbro produced in the 1980s, giving each character it’s own unique personality.

Mr. Budiansky will be taking part in a Q&A panels and meeting with fans all weekend long.

We are happy to welcome Jon Bailey to TFcon Chicago 2016. Known as the epic voice of Screen Junkies’ Honest Trailers, the long time Transformers fan can now be seen as Optimus Prime in Machinima’s Transformers: Combiner Wars animated web series.

Jon will be taking part in a Q&A panel and meeting with the attendees of the America’s largest fan-run Transformers convention all weekend long.

We are very pleased to welcome IDW’s Transformers (formerly Robots in Disguise) ongoing series comic book artist Andrew Griffith to TFcon Chicago 2016.

He will be attending all days and offering prints and commissions to attendees all weekend long.

Casey is known to fans for his work providing variant covers for IDW’s Robots In Disguise and More Than Meets the Eye comics as well as many one-shot issues. Transformers fans will recognize his work from the pages of numerous Transformers (formerly Robots in Disguise) and More Than Meets The Eye comic books. We are happy to welcome Frank Todaro to TFcon Chicago 2016. A long time Transformers fan himself, he can now be seen as Starscream in Machinima’s Transformers: Combiner Wars animated web series.
