3A is working their magic once again on the Transformers movie franchies, this time giving us our first look at Blitzwing from the Bumblebee Movie. Thanks to Seibertron's Nathaniel Prime we're treated to a preview of Blitzing on 3A's Facebook page. As expected the figure looks like it was lifted right out of the movie. The non-transforming figure features 51 points of articulation and stands at 10.6 inches tall placing it in scale with the previous Bumblebee figure.

Pre-orders start January 11 with no price given yet. We're hoping they'll have a full gallery for us as soon as tomorrow. What do you think? Sound off in the Energon Pub.

Wondering how they can make this design transform in Studio Series... :-? That chest looks like it has to flip inwards to fill in the chest, and the nose cone rotating inward. And those wings... they look like they need to twist the whole assembly like with POTP Starscream. Hopefully HasTak can make it happen, with no faux parts of course.

Meant to write cockpit, not chest. Again, really hope they don't cheat with the chest, even if it looks like they might

The selective criticism in the transformers fandom continues to astound me. The last 4 movies get nitpicked to their very core. But this movie, containing two triple changers, fails to make blitzwing a triple changer and no ones says boo. I am starting to think half the people here don’t even watch transformers, just come here to complain.

To be fair, Hasbro considers him a triplechanger and he hardly spent much time in jet mode in the movie.

That Blitzwing is a thing of beauty. And seeing the movie model in plastic form really makes me appreciate how much effort went into him. He's almost entirely made of recognizable bits of F-4 Phantom, which after the AOE and TLK designs and their impossible transformations is nice to see. The landing gear toes are a really nice touch.

3A has launched their Bumblebee movie Blitzwing gallery and, wow, does this figure look good!? As expected from 3A this non-transforming figure looks just like it walked straight out of the movie with loads of details, articulation, metal parts and LED lights to really bring it to life. We're also getting our first look at his accessories which include weapons, a replaceable arm, and extra sets of hands.

The figure can be pre-ordered right now at the link above for $199 which does include shipping. Considering his size of 10.6 inches and list of features that's really not a terrible price for a figure like this. The full list of bullet points can be found below along with the full gallery. He's expected to see release sometime in the third quarter of 2019. Thanks to Nathaniel Prime for bringing this to our attention!

I hate those damn wings. Stupid G1 seeker tribute. Fold them away so they don't get all damaged in battle and make your jet mode unusable.

Y'know, now that I have a full body shot of him, I really don't see Starscream But With A Different Name. I mean, he doesn't terribly look like Blitzwing either, but there are enough details that the design doesn't really scream Starscream (pun very much intended) to me. Maybe my brain has just been subconsciously trained to identify him as a different character... #-o

Where would you rather have them be placed? I agree with you on the (un)practical design choice, but I believe they would still get damaged regardless of where they are placed.

Back to the figure, love it, love everything about the design, hopefully SS Blitzwing will be revealed in China on the 26th

I do like this but I really do wonder why they bother putting a lot of effort into a character that lasted about 10 seconds on screen (yes i'm being facetious)

another reason why i hate character deaths in general

Probably because they get the designs well in advance of seeing the movies so they just pick characters to make based on how cool they look, only to find out their entire screen presence in the movie can be spliced together from TV spots. Prime1 is also making a statue of him so someone on the movie's marketing team did a great job of selling companies on Blitzwing as a good choice for a high end collectible.

Yeah true that is the way it works.

Lest we forget that Onslaught statue from TLK. One of only 2 cons that had a statue lined up from TLK, and it was that guy. Not Nitro Zeus, not Barricade, Onslaught.

Pretty sure it was cancelled though, after how disappointing he was and the film was in general. All we ever saw I think were mockups but no statue itself, and definitely no pre-orders.

Isn't this an action figure though and not a statue?

Also not a bash on the figure at all, but personally I prefer the look of the Studio Series one. Looks more uniform and how I remember him looking in the movie. This one looks a lot busier and the head looks a lot thinner than I remember. I assume this is more based on earlier concept art?

Someone actually did some side-by-side comparisons of it with the final movie model, and it's mostly pretty much spot-on, although the head does look thinner (wondering if that's just the angle/aperture warping it or not).

The expensive, hyper detailed toy looks to be a redeco of the 3A Optimus Prime also made for the Bumblebee film. We can see the red windows and optics, as well as the few teal highlights over the black and silver grey color scheme.

So, what are your thoughts on this new figure that was unveiled tonight? Is this a definite buy, or too rich for your blood, being a 3A item. Tell us in the Pub forums below!

During last night's Preview Night for San Diego Comic-Con 2019, we had our first look at the 3A Nemesis Prime figure for the Bumblebee film. Now, you can pre-order the figure at Hasbro Pulse! The figure is being sold for $199.99 USD, and is meant to ship approximately on March 23rd, 2020. The listing has a detail product description, which can be read below, as well as stock photos, which you can check out by clicking the screenshot below. After seeing them, tell us your thoughts, and if you're going to cave in, in the Pub forums below!

Nemesis Prime DLX Scale Collectible Figure (Limited Edition) By 3A/Threezero
Limit of 2 per customer.

No. This is not the heroic Autobot leader, Optimus Prime. He just has one of those faces.

Joining the lineup of the 3A/Threezero DLX Scale Collectible Figure Series comes a Limited Edition figure of the nefarious Nemesis Prime. Don't let this evil doppelganger slip through your fingers, limited quantities available through HasbroPulse.

DLX Nemesis Prime figure does not convert, BUT it does stand at 11.2 inches tall and feature incredible sculpted detailing, 53 points of articulation, LED illuminated eyes, and die-cast metal parts. The DLX line focuses on precise design work at a smaller scale with high articulation and high detail. Kinda weird how nobody has talked about this awesome thing because they all scrambled to Siege (I'll admit, I'm one of them)

Looks really badass, and I kinda want a Selects BB Voyager Optimus Prime as well.

Thanks to PrimeVsPrime on YouTube we have a review of the new ThreeZero/Three A deluxe Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime fully poseable non-transforming action figure. This thing is truly a work of toy art and appears to capture every subtle detail and nuance to what many have considered one of, if not thee best movie Optimus Prime designs seen so far. Whether you're a huge fan of the design or not, whether you're going to be buying this piece or not, PrimeVsPrime gives an excellent run down of the articulation, the stand, the blaster, every bit and piece you like to see in a review of one of these higher end items. Enjoy the view and share your thoughts in the forum. As always stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!

Can’t wait to get this. I love their Bumblebee - scratches an itch Studio Series and MP were never really able to touch.

Soundwave up for preorder in UK. Stands taller than Blitzscream too which is surprising. Something about the blockiness that detracts from the design rather than adding to it and the shoulder gun looks a bit off.

Thanks to the ThreeZero Twitter page, we have a tease for their next upcoming premium collectors figure: Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime!

The Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime design has caused quite a stir since it debuted in the Bumblebee film back in 2018, and we have had the pleasure of getting both a transforming Studio Series toy and a prior Deluxe ThreeZero figure of this design. This new take by ThreeZero is a larger and even more premium version of their original deluxe Optimus Prime, featuring a diecast metal frame, over 140 points of articulation, and it stands an impressive 19 inches tall (so on par with Combiner Wars Devastator in terms of height, and certainly it will be heavier).

While we only have the 1 teaser picture provided by ThreeZero, we will certainly see more images and get more information soon.

Check out the teaser below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!
