Haven't seen Roddy yet, but I myself think WfC has had the best distribution Central Indiana has seen in quite a while.and really most of the current TF Toylines
EDIT: I refer specifically to WFC Rodimus because that's what is in the attached picture. I do realize tjis is supposed to be a Rescue Bots thread

It also comes with a simplified Bumblebee figure. Here is the product description:
Little heroes can imagine going on daring missions with one of their favorite TRANSFORMERS characters! The 15-inch OPTIMUS PRIME figure converts from jet mode to Jumbo Jet Wing Racer mode in just a few simple steps, perfect for little heroes. Jet mode features spinning propellers, rolling wheels and can store up to 4 figures in vehicle mode. With the playset in bot mode, kids can push figures up the OPTIMUS PRIME figure’s jet wings, then release to watch them race towards the finish line! The figure also comes with a 4.5-inch BUMBLEBEE figure that features simple 1-step conversion from robot to racecar mode.

Easy play pattern improvements. Propellers should be jet engines befitting a jumbo JET and add voice chips w/ OP classic/RescueBots phrases, jet engines swoosh noises, transforming sound, etc. Make the ramp spring loaded so pressing a button can launch the cars out of the ramps so the "RACER" part in the name makes sense (I think the yellow piece on the wings work with gravity in OP bot mode only, realease it and the car slide down the ramp vertically. But they do nothing in jumbo jet mode?). Simple changes that add a buck or two to the cost but make kids, parent & TF fans alike super happy and get a ton more sales because it's a better toy. Is that too hard?

Wings convert to Racetracks is not enough of a play feature?

"Articulation" who needs articulation when your wings can be racetracks.

Let's see what Chuck has to say:
chuckdawg1999 wrote:Rescue Bots are fun Transformers with simpler transformations that are made for smaller hands. The Dinobot Adventures version of Bumblebee with his partner Lance is a fun set that will charm fans both young and old.
And:

Continuing our look at the Dinobot Adventures subline of Rescue Bots is the Dinobot Squad pack of Grimlock, Snarl, and Predaking; one of these things is definitely not like the other. All three feature simple transformations and static posing but Predaking is the stand-out with articulated dragon heads. Definitely worth a look for younger fans.

There is that big mind-boggling Optimus plane whose wings are inexplicably car carrier trailers.
Then there'e that huge Optimus base playset where smaller bots can fit inside like carrion devouring a corpse.
Finally there's that pretty big Optimus with a sizeable trailer that can carry many "deluxes". However, the only way to get that is through Ebay.

That's the "base" Optimus. Too bad it don't transform though.

Same characters, but different molds. That playset with Optimus, his trailer, and his friends would make your child NUT! That's a great starting point for a young kid.
It looks like all the Optimuses with trailer you have shown are the exact same toys but in different releases. So go with the one available.

Firstly, a three pack of Bumblebees is stealth decos were found at Ross. Since it's at Ross, it means it was product destined for release a while back at another store (like Walmart or target) but that chose never to put these on shelves and instead just dump it at Ross. That would explain why it still has the older packaging. The sighting was posted here.

We also have a brand new product found in Canada at Toysrus. It's a bigger version of the monster truck Optimus Prime with different deco from the original smaller mold. We put an old stock pic of that initial figure for comparison. The sighting was posted here. We also have stock images from Ripley showing this new toy.

Smaller mold:

Same at my walmarts and toysrus. Those Bumblebee and Optimus dinobots at the lower price point sell out very quickly at every restock. Hasbro is underestimating the popularity of those toys.

You should know, like all of us, that "too old for a toy" (any toy) is a fallacy.

They're rated 3+, if 4 is too old that isn't much of an age range.
