Today, we have some very special and unique news to share with you. Seibertronian TulioDude was fortunate enough to attend CCXP 2018, which is a Brazilian Comic Con Experience. The event featured a very large media presence, and among the many booths at the event was one dedicated to Bumblebee and his upcoming movie! TulioDude was kind enough to take a ton of pictures of the event, and even wrote us up a description of the event to go with his pictures. Check out the full experience below!
TulioDude wrote:The first three are the Bumblebee statue that was present.Upon close inspection it seems a advanced version of a papercraft, mixed with metal and lights. Its was very well done.
The place was built to resemble a garage with few tools and different models of TVs,as you can see the next three photos.
The other side had few games resembling an arcade with arcade like cabinets (pretty sure one of them was Metal Slug), one pinball machine (a Bumblebee movie themed one) and a stage with people playing Just Dance with some 80’s songs and a few more. There was also some dioramas like the previous one seen in other conventions around, but I did not manage to get more photos of them. An overall view in the next pic.
Of note, one of the highlights was one arcade cabinet with a Bumblebee game, which could be played by up to two players in split screen. I thing this game was seen elsewhere before but I don't remember where. There was also the same in a few smart devices nearby. The next four pics show this. The toy store named ToyMania, was one responsible for selling Transformers merchandise there. It was a selection of the Bumblebee line, Studio series, Cyberverse and miscellaneous ones. If bought anything, you earned the convention exclusive cup, and any if spent more than R$199,00 (Brazil currency remember) in total price, you get the exclusive shirt (i didn't get one). All this seen in the next nine pics. The pin-bottom was the prize for playing the Bumblebee arcade game.
To cap it off one last pics of the tools and one of the outside view.

It's not everyday that Hasbro themselves share reveals through Twitter. Through a tweet regarding the Bumblebee film showing in LA, they posted an image of toys, three of which are new reveals.
Here is the Tweet:
We’re in #LA kicking off the world premiere of the @BumblebeeMovie with a showcase of our #Transformers #BumblebeeMovie products! Who’s ready to #JoinTheBuzz?
And here are the toys:
Speed Series Cliffjumper
Nitro Series Blitzwing
Nitro Series Dropkick
While these are of course aimed at kids and not collectors, the toys have been selling well with good word of mouth regarding value, durability and the gimmick. So these could be fun toys to add to any kid's Christmas stocking.
Here are the images posted with the tweet showing the new toys, enjoy!
Studio Series with more pics of Megatron and Igor, as well as more images of Jetfire, his combo with the new Optimus Prime, and every other release.
Siege, with finished toys for Starscream and Ultra Magnus. We can see where the battle damage will be on Starscream's alt mode. We also get a good look at Ironhide which has a really odd colour pallette. While he looks unifnished, there is no mention that he is a prototype and he even includes the final battle damage deco on his feet.
Masterpiece with more shots of the Optimus Prime ver 3 grey model.
G-Shock Optimus Prime display.
Samurai Sword display.
Merchandise booth with the feudal Japan theme for both Optimus and Megatron.
The Bumblebee movie display included Encore Big Convoy and our first look at his box which is a perfect homage to his original packaging. Regarding Bumblebee, there was a big event with Tessho Genda, the voice of Optimus Prime (and Batman, Kratos, Sylverter Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger) in Japan, who confirmed was going to voice Optimus again for this film. There was also a video from Hailee Steinfeld introducing the latest trailer. This can be seen below.

There is an absolutely gorgeous display of Studio Series figures at Tokyo Comic-Con 2018 right now. They arranged the figures per film so there are six seperate displays (with some extras to fill out the TLK display). The main attraction here is the full reveal of leader Dark of the Moon Mgatron. This is the full finished figure, so this gives us a perfect idea of how he will look like when he comes out next year in the second quarter. He does still have those boxy lower legs, as expected, but he looks rather magnificent (aside from the tarp's fabric pattern), and Igor is there too. We also get a great look at Jetfire and his monstrously sized face. The images come from Twitter user @QVx9l3YcRlSEntk.

Tonight, we have some truly special news for you regarding a friend of the site who is also pretty dang talented with his artwork.
Thanks to a post by artist Marcelo Matere on his Instagram, we have the really cool honor of letting you know that his original line work for the Power of the Primes Predaking toy, the artwork that was eventually featured on his poster and his box, has ended up in Brazil's Museum of Image and Sound! His artwork is featured in the Mega Exposition Comics, which features tons of artwork and artists who have worked hard and passionately in their fields. Matere has worked on Transformers now for 15 years, which includes multiple pieces related to the toys we all know and love, and he has done some covers and interior work for IDW during his long comic career as well, so this recognition is well deserved!

As the whirlwind of Thanksgiving and the craziness of Black Friday winds down in America, we have a neat piece of news for you all! Over in Michigan, in Detroit's annual Thanksgiving day parade, they featured a brand new giant balloon. Specifically one featuring the autobot leader we all know and love, Optimus Prime! Sponsored by local MI bank Chemical, the balloon is larger than life, standing, or, uh, floating, at several stories tall. The balloon is based on the evergreen design of Optimus Prime, joining the list of new TF promotional products to make use of that design. Take a look at some photos of the balloon, provided by a local news channel, down below!

Black Friday is here. As it turns out, while there are Black Friday deals, they are not from the usual suspects. Amazon doesn't have any obvious deals today in the US, Toysrus has nothing on sale Transformers whise in Canada and there is nothing of mention from Walmart for either country.
However, Amazon.ca has has delivered big time. Power of the Primes Predaking is only $136 CAD right now (just a little over $100 USD) which is a huge discount from the original $230 CAD price. Their exclusive Nemesis Prime is also discounted by 30% to $49 CAD ($37 USD).
As for the US, the major deals seem to come from online retailers for imported products. For isntance, BBTS has deals on all those ridiculously expensive MP Coneheads along with Shattered Glass MP 10 while TFSource has deals on MP Skywarp, Gold Lagoon MP 10 and more.

In more car related news, Bumblebee is part of Gamestop's advertizing on Christopher Bell's NASCAR racecar. He even included a video of the new adverts being applied to the car which you can see here.

Last month at New York Comic-Con 2018, Hasbro held a Transformers War for Cybertron SIEGE unboxing event for a small group from the Transformers "Press". The products available for us to unbox were Wave 1 Deluxe Class (Cog, Sideswipe, Hound and Skytread), Voyager Class (Optimus Prime and Megatron), Micromasters (Air Strike Patrol, Battle Patrol and Race Car Patrol) and Battle Masters (Lionizer, Firedrive and Blowpipe).
At the time, this was our first time seeing Megatron, Skytread and Blowpipe, which was really cool since they had not been publicly unveiled yet. We were able to open up the toys from their packages, transform them, pose them and takes lots of pictures and videos to share with all of you at a later date.
Most of these pictures and videos have been outdone by in-hand pictures and videos of the figures since they started hitting retail in the past week. However, seeing all of these products in-hand in one video alongside multiple versions of the same toy is still pretty cool, especially for a new product line.
Later in the day, the Decepticons such as Soundwave, Ravage, Laserbeak, Brunt, Refraktor (Reflector), Shockwave and Starscream were also unveiled which can be seen in this news article from NYCC 2018. If you would like to see more images of the Autobots, you can see Ultra Magnus, Ironhide, and Chromia who were revealed this past summer at SDCC 2018, which you can view here.
Below is a small sample of the 140+ image gallery below. You can click on any of those images to view the full gallery. In addition, you can watch our video from the event below from Seibertron.com's YouTube Channel.
If you've missed out on our recent War for Cybertron galleries, you can view the War for Cybertron SIEGE Deluxe Class galleries and Voyager Class Optimus Prime and Megatron galleries.

With Halloween come and gone, the holiday shopping season has started and Toysrus is kicking it off with a bang. They have released their holiday catalogue with two weeks of savings. Bumblebee (the character and the movie) is heavily featured both on the cover, with Transformers toys savings in the book and even a full page advertisement in the back for an upcoming event.
The event will feature the appearance of the Beetle car in two Toysrus stores where people can take images, you can see which stores and the times in the image below. As for savings, as can be imagined, they are centered around toylines featuring Bumblebee so Studio Series, the Bumblebee movie and Cyberverse. The savings are around 20-25% off and start today. We have also posted below an image from the catalogue of all the other November events which include Harry Potter workshops and Santa visits.
This is all of course a huge contrast to the quiet relaunch of Toysrus in the US which confirms that at the moment, Geoffrey's Toybox will only be pop up blocks in grocery stores selling only toys under the Toysrus IP (ie. Imaginarium, Journey Girls) and thus unafiliated with Hasbro.
Update: Images of the in store decorations and selection have been added.

We have some exciting and interesting news to share with you today regarding Crossover, a 4 Part event held in San Diego where Comic Books and Science crash head on into each other!
Crossover has been a 4 part event that has run from March to November of this year, with the previous 3 parts including Star Trek, GI Joe Vs. Six Million Dollar Man, and Sonic the Hedgehog. And now, the 4th and final part is to include Transformers. During these sessions, the comic book writers who bring these stories to life sit down with real life scientists to discuss their work, if there are real science applications in the comics they write, and if those comics are speaking to a wider audience and with a wider message than we may think.
The Transformers section of the program is being held November 16 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the San Diego Comic Art Gallery, and featured guests will include John Barber, Livio Ramondelli, and Brandon Easton. Tickets are on sale between $7 and $25, and you can find the link to those tickets HERE.
So what do you make of this Crossover? Will you be going? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
Die-hard fans know comics are no trivial matter. They aren't just picture books for children and geeky adults. Comics have a long history of addressing complex issues, from science lab accidents to ethics, moral issues and social justice. Join IDW Publishing and the Fleet Science Center for a four-part event series for adults and young adults 15+ that will look at the art, science and technology featured in some of our favorite comics.
How do artists create the artwork? How do writers develop the stories?
Are they communicating realistic scientific concepts?
Could they even be predicting what's to come in science and technology?
Comic book artists, writers and local scientists will give short talks, followed by open discussion, addressing the creative and scientific sides of comics. Enjoy local brews and stimulating discussion with comic book creators and fans!
The second event in the series discusses Transformers and the science of robotics. Could future cars rearrange themselves into robots? What are robots today that already help protect the inhabitants of earth? And where do writers get their inspiration from?
Time: 6:30–8 p.m.
Tickets:
Guests 21+ $15, includes 2 beer from Pariah Brewing Co. and one comic book
