IDW has unveiled their solicitations for the month of March. The solicitations have been posted by
Comicnewsi.com. IDW is offering a host of Transformers titles in March. Here they are:
"The Transformers Movie Prequel #2
Simon Furman & Chris Ryall (w), Don Figueroa (a & c)
Before the movie opens in July, the only place to get a look at THE TRANSFORMERS of the live-action film is right here! The prequel extravaganza continues here, with “The Megaman Cometh.” MEGATRON is headed to Earth, in search of the ALLSPARK. But what he finds, and what this means for the ongoing war that’s come to our world, is something he never could’ve expected! Furman, Ryall and Figueroa continue the movie’s official beginning right here! Featuring a special photo variant cover, too."
"Transformers Spotlight: Soundwave
Simon Furman (w); Marcelo Matere (a); Matere, Nick Roche (c)
Presenting the next triumphal one-shot focusing on some of the best-loved (or loathed) characters from the TRANSFORMERS Universe. The spotlight falls on SOUNDWAVE, the Decepticon intelligence officer with a knack of, first and foremost, looking out for number one! Confronted (on Earth, in 1984!) by an impending catastrophe only he can avert, will Soundwave, for once, consider the bigger picture? By Simon Furman and Marcelo Matere. "
"The Transformers: Escalation #5
Simon Furman (w); E.J. Su (a) Su, Scherwinski (c)
This is it! The all-out, no-holds-barred battle you’ve all been waiting for... OPTIMUS PRIME vs. MEGATRON! In the icy wasteland between Russia and Brasnya, the two titans clash for the first time in many millennia, and MEGATRON’s playing for keeps. Empowered by Ore-13, MEGATRON wants nothing less than the AUTOBOT leader’s complete and utter eradication. And the way things are going… he might just get his wish! By Simon Furman (Transformers: Stormbringer) and E.J. Su (Transformers: Infiltration), with a variant cover once again provided by Klaus Scherwinski."
"Transformers: Beast Wars Manga TPB
The long-awaited pairing of writer Simon Furman and artist extraordinaire Don Figueroa on a Beast Wars saga is finally upon us. The Beast Wars—the time-lost series of conflicts on Earth, where heroic MAXIMALS are pitted against evil PREDACONS—is celebrating its 10th anniversary with this special collection, presented in this special manga digest."
"The Transformers: Beast Wars#1 Variant Cover Slipcase
This exclusive slipcover edition includes all of the rarest covers from THE TRANSFORMERS: BEAST WARS: THE GATHERING #1, including: RI-A (foil stamp edition), RI-B (foil stamp edition), RI-C (foil stamp edition), and RI-D (gatefold fold-out edition), all illustrated by artist Don Figueroa, and enclosed in an attractive slipcase."
"The Transformers: Generations #12
Bob Budiansky (w); Don Perlin (a) Nick Roche (c)
IDW continues a look back at some of the most beloved Transformers comics from years past. Nick Roche (Transformers Spotlight: Shockwave) once again presents a new cover recreation of the original cover art, along with a variant retro art cover. This month, the first year of reprints concludes with the return of Buster Witwicky in the classic "Buster Witwicky and the Car Wash of Doom!" originally presented in Marvel Comics’ The Transformers #31!"
"The Transformers: War Within, Vol. 1 TPB
Before Stormbringer, before the Beast Wars, before even Generation One, there was... The War Within. Four million years before the TRANSFORMERS came to Earth, civil war rocks their home world of CYBERTRON, and OPTIMUS PRIME faces his first—and greatest—challenge. But before he can deal with the Decepticons, the new Autobot leader must look within... and decide if CYBERTRON is worth saving at all! If you think you know the TRANSFRORMERS... think again! IDW is proud to present an all-new collection of this long-out-of-print tale from the TRANSFORMERS’ past."

GroundPounder1967 has sent us the following information concerning the 'Transformers Heroes' cartoon series currently in development by Hasbro.
Hasbro has signed off on Gonzo to animate the new TF cartoon. Hasbro has been happy with their work on Transformers Cybertron and GI Joe Sigma Six and wants to keep that partnership going. And like GI Joe, this will be written in the States but animated overseas. (Much like how TFG1 was produced back in the day.)
A story bible was written and has meet with a lot of approval from everyone involved, but no story editor has been chosen yet.
Right now everyone there is excited about the movie, and Brian may well sign off on the idea of hiring one (or both) of the Beast Wars guys to showrun TFH since he knows how good they are at telling a great story, which is his main agenda right now. His primary goal as CEO is to turn Hasbro from a toy company that owns intellectual properties into an IP company that also makes toys, and he knows that quality stories will bring that about. Now that Hasbro is making Marvel toys, look for a renewed relationship with Marvel Comics on that front as well. *ahem*ROM*cough*
We're not sure where this information has come from so we are not able to confirm the story, but it certainly sounds promising.
