However, when he went to the store the sale was only supposed to be on CYBERTRON Deluxes. Empire Magazine which includes Optimus Prime on the front cover. This issue goes on sale next month.
Some elements of the bot appear to be different from the previous images we've seen of Optimus Prime. No official word if this is the final design of Optimus Prime that will be used for the upcoming
Transformers Movie.

John Rogers, who wrote the original draft of the script to the 2007
Transformers Movie, has made some comments about being involved with the movie on his
blog. In response to questions left on his
announcement of the Transformers Teaser Trailer earlier this week, the writer had the following to say.
"Those aren't final credits, we still have to arbitrate. I'd moved on to SHIBUMI pretty fast after my draft, when Michael Bay came on the ISLAND guys (nice guys, btw) came with him.
Ever since the early 90's there are rules about how many writers can actually get credit. That said, There were probably about ten active writers on CATWOMAN when all was said and done, and ironically the people who had the least amount of text in the script got the screen credits.(My contribution, as far as I know, was the gist of one scene, and one joke) Sucky movie, but hey, the residuals were okay. Makes getting hosed on MONTE CRISTO a little easier.
As far as this movie, from what I've seen most of the human characters are either the same or similar, the main plot structure's the same, and a lot of the "how the Transformers work in our world" stuff is identical (why they look like earth vehicles, the proto-form, what they're here for, etc.) There's on main structural difference, and a chunk of different dialogue, but it's about half and half".
"As the official geek on the team, I was the one in charge of making sure that while there were spiffy human characters, that the Transformers were picked for their personalities, and that said personalities matched their animated tradition. For me, this was always a "Lost Patrol" movie, except the American soldiers are the Transformers, and the villagers with sticks are the humans. Trust me, mucho Transformer character work".

MMORPG Blog has
debunked rumors about gaming developer
NetDevil being involved with a future Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game for the Transformers brand. Several days ago, the site made a statement that NetDevil secured a contract with a major toy company. With the new
Transformers Movie gearing up for its July 4th 2007 release, people jumped to the conclusion that game would be a Transformers game. In a recent interview, NetDevil CEO Scott Brown announced that the new game is not Transformers. After which he moved on to other topics.

Micheal Bay Forum member
Nelson made a post today about the new Transformers Trailer beating the all time download record. Here is what he had to say.
"In the coming days, I think the official TF site will post a trailer with Peter Cullen's voice that was made/edited by a fan. Just to be clear, the edit is not official.
On a side note, studio sources report that the all-time trailer download record was broken today by the TF teaser. It beat Spider Man 3 by a landslide. Just though you would like to know."

IDW Publishing has released a press release regarding the upcoming four part comic prequel to the upcoming live action movie! Due for release in February 07, it will deal with the events leading up to the movie, and will written by Chris Ryall and Simon Furman, with art by Don Figueroa.
TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE PREQUEL
THEIR WAR. THEIR WORLD. OUR COMICS.
TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE PREQUEL Comic Books Kick Off The Blockbuster Event of '07!
San Diego, CA (December 20, 2006)- IDW Publishing's TRANSFORMERS' universe has spanned from modern-day Earth (The Transformers: Infiltration and Escalation) to the far-flung planet of CYBERTRON (The Transformers: Stormbringer) and many light-years of time and space in-between. Now get ready for an all-new TRANSFORMERS story that breaks new ground, setting the stage for the highly anticipated summer '07 blockbuster TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE. And while the movie might not explode onto theater screens until July, IDW Publishing offers your first glimpse of the live-action motion picture ROBOTS IN DISGUISE in the TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE PREQUEL beginning in February 2007.
In the four-part TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE PREQUEL, co-writers Chris Ryall (Zombies Vs. Robots) and Simon Furman (The Transformers: Escalation) team up with celebrated TRANSFORMERS artist Don Figueroa (The Transformers: Stormbringer) to deliver a special tale that spans centuries, travelingg from CYBERTRON to Earth. This special four-part series reveals the events that lead up to next Summer's blockbuster movie, directed by Michael Bay and Executive-Produced by Steven Spielberg.
"This is no peripheral movie tie-in," said co-writer Chris Ryall (who also spends his days as IDW's Publisher and Editor-in-Chief. "Rather, it's a fully realized, generations-spanning tale that also sets up and explains much of the backstory in the coming movie. With Paramount and Hasbro's assistance, we're able to show you the characters and explain some situations that are integral parts of the movie. It should also assuage any early fan trepidation and show that this prequel and the movie together are going to comprise quite an epic TRASNFORMERS story."
TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE PREQUEL is an all-new, four-part series that hits shelves in February 2007 with a 32-page full-color comic book.

The password is case sensitive. If you enter it in capital letters you will not be able to log onto the site.

After the online release of the teaser for
Transformers Movie, as
reported earlier today, the website to the movie has been totally revamped to feature what appears to be a movie version of Cybertron. The interactive menu features excerpt clips from the video webcast Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman did back in August, split into the questions they had anwered. Many of the options seem now to be ready for use apart from the fact they still need to be filled (like the fanart option) at this time.
Warning: The new website design is done in HD quality. The video transitions may run poorly on slower computers. All the features should still work and can be accessed through the menu bar on the top right corner as well.

Hi folks!
We're looking into the possibility of setting up an area or areas in HMW specifically for players to enjoy roleplaying their characters. Note that this wouldn't be linked to the official SEIBERTRON.COM RPG but would just be a discussion area for people who enjoy a little RP.
If you're a HMW player but don't currently use our
discussion forums, I'd like to invite you to have your say and vote in the poll
here!
Cheers!
