These new images show off the molds articulation and accessories. We also get a good look at his alt mode, which appears to be a lot less clean then it was on the show.

The Forbidden Planet website has uploaded new images for their Retro Headmasters reissue listings. These are the second wave of the reissues coming to Walmart (and different exclusive retailers, depending the country). The wave consists of Highbrow, Wierdwolf and Skullcruncher. These are the Titans Returns molds with different decos and the heads found on the Takara versions. So there is something new to them aside from the fancy G1 styled boxes they come in. Hopefully the breakage issue on Wierdwolf is fixed though that is yet to be seen. Both the Hasbro and Takara releases had the same breakage issue.
Finally, the figure most fans have been waiting for is showing up at Targets in the US. So far, Thrust has been found in various locations in California. There is no indication of street date, people were able to purchase him with no hassle. He comes in solid cases (meaning he is the only figure in the case) and sells for 29.99. The picture below comes from TFW user Free Trader who posted on those forums along with other users reporting a similar sighting.
Thrust has also been found in Singapore at Toysrus stores and should be showing up at Canadian Toysrus stores as well eventually.
Your mileage will vary with this one, for sure, but we have enough reports to warrant a heads up to anyone looking for a deal. Walmarts across Canada and the US are doing some massive liquidations on the 2020 Transformers toys.
In Canada, the deals many have found are the following:
We have our first global sighting for the upcoming reissues of the Transformers Titans Return Headmasters in new G1 styled boxes. These were found in Toysrus in Hong Kong. They are Walmart exclusive in North America and should be out soon. The first wave consists of Chromedome, Mindwipe, Hardhead and Brainstorm. The remaining will come out in wave 2. We found this info on Facebook, where Rodimus Chan posted images of his finding. These all have slight differences from their original releases and you can see comparison images here.
Presenting 'Buzzworthy' Bumblebee. This two pack contains Bumblebee and Spike in his exo-suit from the 1986 Transformers movie. Judging from the photos, bee appears Core Class sized while Spike looks to be slightly bigger then Titan/Prime masters sized. This is being sold under the War for Cybertron Trilogy line, though no word on price or if it will be an exclusive of some kind.
What do you think of this version of the classic character? Do you want this version of Spike to display along with your 1986 movie collection? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!
