With a little use of a couple coupons, you can get some great deals on Dark Of The Moon Transformers at Target. There is a mobile and online coupon that can be used together to get $10 off on items more than $10 dollars.

$5 mobile coupon from Target

$5 printable manufacturer's coupon from Target
http://coupons.target.com/toys-coupons

Voyagers are on a temporary price cut right now at $17.99. If you stack both coupons you can walk away with a $7.99 voyager figure. The site lets you print the manufacturer's coupon twice. You can also use the manufacturer's coupon online at Target.com: ADPVWSFK.

What's the fine print on the mobile coupon? The $5 print one is off $5.99 and up. It sounds like it's possible to basically get a $10 toy for free. =)

Here's the real Question. With the Mobile Coupon and their Coupon, will they also accept the $5 coupon that comes on the Box of the Blue Ray? I'd Love to get a voyager for $2.99....

can these be stacked with the hasbro coupon as well? The mobile coupon does me no good so in order to get a good enough deal to go to target id have to use the hasbro one as well.

That would be nice, but unfortunately couponing doesn't work that way. The Blu-Ray/DVD coupon and the Wal-mart/Kmart coupons are both manufacturer's coupons, so you cannot combine them. The reason why you can combine the Target coupon with the manufacturer's is because most stores are set up to accept one in-house coupon (Target's own coupon, in this case) and one from the manufacturer (Hasbro in this case). To the best of my knowledge, it would be impossible to do better than that.

How much is a pack of gum? I've picked up 3x Deluxes in the past week, and I haven't paid more than $6 for any of them.

Not sure but deluxe figures are 9.99, so if you used both coupons you could get a free deluxe. If you played your cards right. I don't think you can use the coupons on just the deluxe figure since Target would technically pay you .01. Not sure how that would work.

Actually, that might work. I've seen people do just that with groceries.

EDIT: I can't view the coupon because I don't get text messages on my phone. Someone should investigate this further. I'll gladly take a penny and another BB.

Yes, you absolutely CAN get a Deluxe for FREE.

Also, for folks having trouble with the mobile coupon, you can forward it to your email, and actually PRINT the coupon out. :) ...But don't get any smart ideas about trying to print more than one; unlike the "$5 off $5.99" coupons, they have unique codes. (Also, the text can take up to an hour from the time you submit your info until your coupon arrives, so be patient.)

Re: $7.99 Voyagers at Target (1296929)

It Is Him is right - Target only stacks one manufacturer and one target coupon per every one item, so $10 is the most you can get of of anything right now. That plus the whole mobile coupons thing that makes it so you can only use it once... ~:( Otherwise, yeah you could do some extreme couponing on the deluxe and below figures. :P

And for the person asking about the -.01, you forget tax. Coupons technically aren't supposed to pay for tax, so you'd get one penny off of whatever tax is. But for the record, someone did extreme coupon so I owed them like 2 bucks before. (not on transformers)

If I can get the mobile thing to send it to my email like whoever mentioned it, I'm gonna get that plus the other coupon to get the Laserbeak we just put out on shelves today. :P I'd pay the tax to buy him, lol!
edit: ugh, my phone doesn't do texts. so I can't forward it to my email. :/ Ahh well.

For those of you wondering... You can use your mobile coupon multiple times.. I've used mine about 20 times.. I also got a book of the $5 off coupon, they were handing them out at the Transformers Tour I attended last week.. Deluxe figures come out to $0.44, I got 10 for $4.40. I also got 8 legion figures.. Those are $5.24 each, buy 2 and get $10 off your total will come out to $0.96 for 2. I also got some voyagers at Walmart for $5.. They match Target coupons $10 off of $15.. The sale ends 10/15/11 @ Target..

Ooh nice!

So those of us without the means for the mobile coupons just need to find somebody who will let you use theirs? Yay. :)

There's not tons of selection left at my store, but there's a few I've wanted that are still left! :)

Dont know how you managed to pull most of that off cause i just tried about an hour ago and none of it worked. The mobile coupon would not work on the deluxes not sure if its cause they are on sale for $9.99 right now or what but it didnt work not even with combining it with other figures or items, only the manufacturer coupon would work, legions are $4.99 so the manufacturer coupon would not work cause the item has to be at least $5.99 and only 1 coupon can be used per transaction so you would need to have two of them so it would be like buy 1 get 1 free and also the mobile coupon didnt work on those either. There was nothing wrong with it cause it worked on the voyager i purchased first and i was told i could use it 9 more times. So either your talking out your ass or theres more to the process than your telling us. The walmart price match is the only thing that works without fail, i showed them the target coupon for 5 off and then used onw of the hasbro 5 off ones to get the voyager for 5 before tax.

I also used the mobile target coupon and the manufacturer coupon to get free deluxe figures. He isn't talking out of his ass.

I give them the deluxe. They scan it. I have them scan the mobile coupon first. Next the manufacturers coupon.

Result=free deluxe.

Here in TX I don't even have to pay tax after that. I brought home 5 different deluxe figures yesterday, and I am going back for more tonite.

then why didnt it work for me today? every time they scanned the mobile one with a deluxe it wouldnt register, ill try again friday and see what happens maybe the cashier screwed it up somehow. Dont know how that could be since it worked the first time with the voyager but ill try it anyway.

Ask them to plug in the mobile coupon manually if it still doesn't work again. Also, it helps to be super nice. Tonight I got a cashier and a manager to apply the Target mobile coupon manually to a Generations Wheeljack, all because I'm a swell guy. :D

Have them type in the code manually (it's the long series of numbers) or the cashier has an option to put in a $5 coupon manually (no code or anything, they just manually enter the value of a generic coupon). If you still have problems after that, ask to speak to a manager. Target's policy is that they will accept a Target coupon AND a manufacturer's coupon with your purchase.

I couldn't get the Target mobile coupon to be used more than once per order, nor could I get the same coupon to be used more than once. But between my wife, and my cell phone, Target resending coupons a couple of days later, etc, I've bought enough stuff to fill up a shelf in the back of my basement with ~$7.99 to $12.99 Voyagers (I've got 10 of them and probably about that many deluxes that I've picked up). I'm just doing my part to help move this product off shelves that's been sitting there since May or June. If you haven't bought this stuff yet, there's little excuse because this stuff is just clogging shelves. It's fair game for everyone to buy duplicates to keep or sell at this point.

I have not been able to get the two coupons to both be used on a $9.99 deluxe because that would mean they're paying you a penny. To those of you who were able to get it to work, that's awesome! More power to you. I didn't really press the issue because I'd rather invest in some Voyagers. Who knows if this all will turn out to be a giant plastic anchor or if I'll be able to flip it at some point. With the holiday season coming up, I'll take my chances because it's too hard to pass up these deals.

Anyway, I think this thread should be combined with the free deluxe thread and be moved to a brand new "Seibertron's Transformers Extreme Couponing"

Listen man I'm not poor and I'm not a kid. If you have nothing to contribute to this thread maybe don't comment? No one needs your cocky attitude. A lot of us didn't really care to buy all of these figures even though we have the money. Now that we can get them free we are more interested.

yeah the 9.99 sale is the problem, if you use the mobile then it goes to 4.99 and the hasbro one cant be used if you try it the other way the computer wont recognize it cause then they would owe you. Cahsier tried every thing the manager tried everything and still couldnt do it. Best they could do was give my friend and i an employee discount on top of the 5 off from the manufacturer coupon, they only did that cause my friend use to work there and is friends with the manager. Tried at another target today just for the hell of it and same thing but the cashier said that its probably because the computer wont allow them to sell an item at 0 dollars or plug in a discount thats to big. either way i get screwed while others luck out, story of my life.

Ah, is the glass is half empty or half full? It's $5 off a $9.99 toy. That's about 50% off. You could apply it to a Voyager class figure that's already on sale for $17.99 then get it for $7.99 after two $5 coupons.

if i had a glass id be able to tell you but but it broke a while back. but anyway on topic (i think) im unemployed so finding out that i could get figures for less than a dollar was great news some of the best news ive heard in a while. my collection could start growing again with out spending much but did it happen no. There are people here saying "oh i picked up 10 figures for 5 bucks" but when i try it i get hosed. Sure i could've gotten deluxes for around $5 and voyagers for $10 two good deals in their own right but with the little money i have i cant justify picking up something i really dont want just because its half off. So you can see why im a little annoyed. Plus i wouldnt feel like i was saving just getting the stuff for what its actually worth, not a huge fan of DOTM but its the only thing around right now.
