Pretty much the same stuff, about 10,000 pieces of Prime, but also some info on how Bay picked up working with the ILM guys quickly.

A so-so article. It would have been better if not all the quotes came from one person.

After seeing it I'm finnaly gonna break down and ask,

How does crow taste to all yo naysayers!?!

I haven't read a single negative review since this film opened.

As I've kept an open mind throughout all this I feel justified in saying "HA"

However I do wish more Decepticons had bigger rolls, StarScream seemed kinda null(no pun intended), and Devisatator(it's how he anounced himself) and BoneCrusher where nothing but fodder.

I have to say that I was very hard on the movie before I saw it based on the changes made to the characters look. I have been a fan since the original series in 84. I was very disapointed when I saw the pics of the characters new look, and also was very upset to see the line up of decepticons they were going to use. So going in I was very negative, But after seeing it I have to say that I think they did a good job. I found myself loving it and after seeing a few times I really am into the new style. Though some of the story elements I dident like but it's all stuff I am able to look past for now, Unless they totaly screw the sequals up. I am giving it my approval as a die hard Trans fan, can't wait to see where they take it from here. With this movie doing so well how long before we see a GI JOE, new He-Man, or Voltron live action adapt?

It helps to not only read reviews that agree with you. ; )

Every review I've read, even the positive ones, have reflected my exact feelings on the movie. The special effects were cool, but the lack of a good story really killed its potential.

I kept an open mind about all the changes, but I was still disappointed at the lack of proper character development and all the plot holes. It was rather poorly written. Most of the Decepticons were one-dimensional, even Starscream. Megatron was almost completely out of character. Three of the five Autobots had very poorly defined characters that only featured one personality trait, and they all had nearly the exact same voice, even Bumblebee. It was hard to tell who was talking at some points.

The robot designs I can live with. The Michael Bay stamp I can live with. However, it would have been better if they took more time to flesh out the story and the characters like the first two Spider-Man movies or even the first two X-Men. Hopefully the sequel will have better writers and really do the property justice.

I can see alot of your point. I do think it was a good one shot story though. I do wish the Decepticons were elaborated on more. It just seemed like there was Frenzy, then at the end everyone else just showed up. That was a let down to me, but TFs have(sadly) always been Autobot/human heavy, so I wasn't to suprized about that. IronHide didn't sit to well with me though and seemed more Grimlock-ish.

I would have loved to seen more Cybertron, but again, that was to be expected as well.

My only real quam with the effects was with all the fine detail in the designs and the speed in wich they moved caused to many things to blur rather than stand out.

Still overall though, great movie!

My local newspaper had a bad one, they gave the movie a c- said it was to much of a Clint Eastwood shot'em up western but with big talking robots. But then again the guy who does all the reviews only like tochy classy movies like Evening and kids movies and crap like that.

rotten tomatoes is a communications tool used the world over where people can come together to bitch about movies and share pornography with one another, this is a site populated by militant movie buffs, sad pathetic little bastards living in their parents basement, downloading scripts and what they think is inside information about movies and actors they claim to despise yet they cant stop discussing.
