Seibertron.com's own Nekoman has come across an ebay auction for what appears to be an unreleased version of G2 Megatron. The auction shows pictures of the different color schemed figure in an olive drab green with dark green tiger striping.
Along with that, ebay seller the_spacebridge has an array of rare, exclusive and prototype figures to include a G2 Prototype Protectobot Blades, G2 Prototype Gobot Rumble and an unnamed G2 Gobot Race car resembling Mirage.

I have the G2 purple Hero Megatron and it looks alot better than that good thing they didnt release it

Wow, aside from the black face, I have to say that looks better than the original Hero Megatron. I repainted mine anyway though.

I must say that, for a G2 toy, that Megatron had a pretty good, non eye-grinding colourscheme... but, then again, eyegrinding is what G2 was about and I loved it for that.

I really like the 'reversed' paint job on Meg's head... Looks pretty cool, with the bright red eyes peering out from the black face...

Most people didn't, it really only has kitsch value because it often looked awful, yet provided some brilliant toys.

Thank god I'm not into the G2 era. Otherwise probably I will go nuts for not being able to afford.
