I've got 3 version of the Optimus mold already, but I really want the chase Optimus. The clear blue looks nice. I'm also surprised to see that Thundercracker isn't a straight up repaint of Starscream, and has a different facial expression and chest detail.
The only thing I see in the Bot Shot's gallery I might skip is the Matrix Battle set. I'd like Brawl in green, but not sure I want another Megatron and Optimus launcher, and another BB.

i get that they're a little neat, but for me, it's not worth the money.
speaking of money.. i've never seen dealer room prices before.. but some, in not all, of those prices seem just a bit ridiculously high.. is there a reason for this? .. or is that standard in the market today? .. i haven't trolled ebay in a while cause i haven't needed anything.. but when i did, the prices weren't nearly this high.

I'm in the same boat as you, but there were a few translucent ones that caught my eye. I think I might have to pick them up if I see them for cheap.

They are fun to have in large quantities on your desk to display/fiddle with whenever you are bored. They are compact, and fun to close up and the let them spring open. They are just cool little super-deformed guys that are great homages to many different characters. I've considered stripping away the game-stickers and seeing about getting some little reprolable faction symbols (if they make them that small) and slapping them on them.
Plus, they are cheap, and I can buy a handful of them for a $20

If I learned anything walking around the dealers room with my friends back in 2010, it is that the sticker price is the sucker price. You have to get your haggle on.

The green and silver one by Jetfire and Powerglide is labeled as being Skyquake.
And give it time, I'm sure we will get a clear purple Shockwave eventually, if all goes well.

Prime Skyquake, I believe.

For me they're fun to just display and fiddle around with. They're cute and the spring-loaded transformation is fun. Playing the actual game is about as fun as you would expect...it's Rock-Paper-Scissors. So pretty boring. But they're just fun to have around, relatively cheap, and strangely addictive.
I want most of these! The only thing that's bugging me is that they're putting all the desirable repaints (green Brawl, opaque Shockwave) in multipacks with characters I already have... Maybe they're trying to get kids into trading them, but realistically, no one wants another Prime launcher or Bumblebee if they already have one... and collectors already have one.

Well, at least the Shockwave pack isn't that bad. Blue Brawl and Chase Ironhide are 2 figures I'm fine with adding to the lot if it means getting Shockwave.
I agree with owning another Optimus launcher. They only way I really see myself wanting another Optimus launcher is 1) a completely clear version or 2) Nemesis Prime with some actual teal paint apps to look like Scourge. I don't want the less paint apps version they are putting in that 4 pack. If it was a clear (or silver) Megatron and a clear Optimus, I'd bite.
