No he didn't. Maybe once or twice, but not all the time (like Wheelie did).

I always had a strong connection to Blaster. During the hip hop golden era with Run DMC and the Beastie Boys, having an autobot boombox with a DJ persona was a great idea. It's nice to finally put a face to this iconic voice.

BotCon 2012 has added a third Prime to their special guest line up! Joining David Kaye and Garry Chalk is the legendary Peter Cullen!

We are thrilled to announce that the one and only PETER CULLEN will be joining us at BotCon 2012! Best known as the voice behind the wise and heroic AUTOBOT leader OPTIMUS PRIME in the popular 1980s cartoon series "The Transformers" and in the 1986 animated film "The Transformers: The Movie", he reprised the role again for the three Blockbuster Michael Bay live action Transformers movies. He currently can be heard voicing OPTIMUS PRIME in the award winning "Transformers: Prime" series, now in its second season on the HUB network.

Wow, so they're going to have 2 guys that have played Optimus Prime (including the unparalleled original), 1 BW Megatron and an Optimus Primal all at the same event.

That's pretty epic.

If BW Megatron wins, Kaye can accept the award and they can re-enact the BW scene where he tries to eliminate Optimus Prime, only to be thwarted by Optimus Primal (but they'd need to give Cullen some lines, as just laying there snoring in *stasis* would be a waste of his talent .

All that's missing is Welker and we'd have the most awesome winning guest lineup of all time.

wow, Hasbro and Fun Pub are really trying to make up for pissing of the fans with the 3rd party and fan art issues.

I wonder if we'll get Neil Kaplan too.

Actually, if they got Neil that would be too cool. They'd ALL have to do their Prime voices all at once.

If you drop the "Prime" part, that makes it six "Optimuses" (since Garry Chalk voiced two, and Peter Cullen voiced three).

Like we didnt see this one coming. This will be his 3rd year in a row. (maybe longer but I wasnt there in 2009)I love Peter Cullen and think he should just come every year mandatory. So when will the inevitable "Stan Bush at Botcon 2012" announcement come ???

I just thought of something!

While we know that Peter Cullen, Garry Chalk, and David Kaye all being there will make there be three Optimus Prime voice actors be at this year's BotCon, what if there's more to it than that?

Remember the "Invasion Prologue" comic that we saw on BotCon's website? Remember how, on the last page, there were all those Primes gathered together? What if they're going to do a live script reading of this year's "Invasion" comic and have all three of these guys voice some of these Primes?

Like, Peter Cullen could voice G2 Hero Optimus Prime, Garry Chalk could voice Cybertron "Munky" Optimus Prime, and David Kaye could voice either Leo Prime or Sentinel Maximus. Just have them get Neil Kaplan to come too so he can voice Universe RiD Optimus Prime, and we'll have a full set!

I really hope if we get a script reading this year, we get an original story featuring G1 characters being that you've got 4 legendary Autobots covered with Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Blaster and Bumblebee.

Either that or a script reading based on Shattered Glass where Cullen does Evil Prime, how cool would that be?

I would soooo want to hear SG Prime, AKA Venger, during a script reading. I think I would squeal like a lil girl!

Transformers Animated Art Director Derrick J. Wyatt will be joining us at BotCon 2012 for a panel looking back at his time on the Animated Transformers cartoon series and to sign autographs.
