I noticed that too, though I think I also read that Prime is using WFC as a prequel to the series, though I don't know how Bumblebee will fit in. Earth mode maybe, but shouldn't he still have a head reminicent of his WFC design?

Well according to High Moon the Game has always been intended to be the prequel to TF Prime, and since Prime is the name of the new Franchise those characters fall under that Franchise name for now.

I don't exactly think that War for Cybertron is a prequel to Prime. Matt Tieger himself said that the game takes place before G1. Transformers Wiki, if you're reading, you're all DUMMIES for putting Prime instead of War for Cybertron. What happens if you make an article for the show? You're screwing up EVERYTHING.

No Tieger stated that most of their inspiration came from the G1 toon, but that it's based on the new cartoon.

Oh, well don't I feel stupid? Well, better apologize then. I'm sorry Hasbro, Transformers Wiki, Seibertronians, other people worth mentioning that I don't know of...
But, for the time being, until TF Prime goes on the airwaves, I'm going to say to myself that this is before G1. At least until Prime comes on the airwaves. I always wondered why Air Raid, Silverbolt, and Brawl were in there if it was before G1...

Its impossible for WFC to be a prequel to G1 because in G1 Optimus got the Matrix from the past Prime. And in WFC he got it from Primus! Thats a major plothole.

As in G1 cartoon? Hmmm... I don't remember that it was even mentioned where Prime got the matrix from.

When Optimus died in the movie and he gave it to Ultra Magnus he said hes passing it to him like the last Prime passed it to Optimus.

Remember 26 episodes have been confirmed to be in Season 1 but dont expect all 26 to be shown at once they will show 13 then 13 more laster on to break up season 1 and make season 1 last longer.
Season 1 = 26 Episodes TBA 2010 Q4th & Q1st 2011
Season 2 = 20 Episodes
Season 3 = 19 Episodes
This brings the total of the show to 65 which is my theory on how Prime will be shown.
My guess on when Season 2 will begin Q3rd or 4th TBA 2011
Then Season 3 Will be 2012
All epsiodes of Prime will be broken up such as 13 at one point then the other 13 later on see like so if Prime will begin this fall or Winter those 13 episodes will are then the rest of the 13 episodes will air that spring or summer time.
I am recording Prime cause I have a feeling Prime might get the same deal as Animated 1 & 2 on DVD but no 3 so I am recording everything when it comes on.
Also I am doing the same if GI-Joe Renegades is good it has an interesting plot and I am curious on how it will connect to the movie and maybe eventually lead up to GI Joe 2.
I hope that Schedule reveal on The Hub is real not fan-made I wanan watch Reboot again as I grew up with Reboot back when Toonami 1st began in the early 90's that when it was Toonami.
I dont no what CN is now but it isnt CN.

Rod, Renegades, while using a plot point similar to the Paris mission in ROC where the Joes are operating without the backing of the Government, has nothing to do with the movie continuity.
Both the show and toyline will be running independently.

craggy wrote:guys there's been at least 3 different continuities for G1 since the start, let's not worry about it too much. Didn't the Unicron Trilogy introduce the concept of a multi-verse in-story along with the original universe line and the club exclusives? We're in DC/Marvel levels of different universes now.
There I was just thinking about that "Marvel multiverse"-like thingy we're stuck on last night.
I also read that WFC was the prequel to TF: Prime, I was getting confused at first... but then again I wouldn't be much concerned about how the whole thing will fit, since as I can recall we have many variants of G1 storyline already as it is.... we have the Marvel US and UK comics, cartoon, IDW comics, the japanese manga ramblings... XD If we try to mix the major canon stuff together we'll find plotholes and contradictions everywhere.
I'd just hope they don't screw up the whole thing. I already accept how Optimus got the Matrix on WFC since it explains a lot of things, and all I could say regarding him giving it to Magnus is... "Well Magnus wasn't able to open it but Hot Rod did, so Primus is just a b*tch who choses Primes at random after performing a diagnostic on each bot." (which would also kinda explain why they're "born to be Primes") XD Whatever...
