Custom hand and foot add-on for Energon Superion mold?

Seibertron.com member Prime Evil alerted us that a member of the Transformers Fansite hk-tf.com posted images of what seems to be a custom add-on set for the Energon Superion Maximus mold.
The set seems to consist of two feet and two sets of wrists with hands. Please note that it is unclear to us if this in fact a custom project to see mass production or just part of a kitbash but do know that we will keep you updated on this.

That's a great idea. I always thought the dumb-looking "feet" ruined the gestalt mode, and the "hands" weren't much better. Now it looks like a cool badass robot with real hands and feet, but still maintains the vehicles as the limbs.

So where do the weapons go? And are the wrists and legs interchangeable?

It looks like the hands and feet clip around the weapons like armour. I don't know about if they are interchangeable but I don't think so.

Ahh. That's a bit of a step backwards, if you ask me. Sure, they've got more human hands and feet, but they can't be swapped in different combinations. It reduces the potential for visual interest.

Th.. Th.. Thats just too sweet! I would have to pick that up for sure! Now why couldn't hasbro do this? It fits so well and changes the look of the Combiner so much. I can't wait to go home and try out that arm configuration on my Energon version. I could see Universe Silverbolts gun fitting so well with this!

Maybe Hasbro should sub-contract their R&D to the fans...kinda like nasa does with their rocket building contests...the winning project gets a nice prize and the possibility of seeing their idea used in mass product.

Sweetness. I really wish Hasbro could team up with fans and mass produce some of these upgrade kits for a cheaper price. Never going to happen, but it would be cool if it did.

i still get it even if you cant interchange the limbs 10 - to 20 doallers is fair price any higher than that seems expensive whats the price on this set or still unknown?

OMG! Now that does make getting those combiner sets worthwhile. I hope they can fit the Collector Club set thats about to be completed. And if not perhaps a custom set made to fit in the future?

If some designer at Has/Tak isn't cleaning out his desk and heading for the door right now, he damn well should be! That set is truly awsome. I wish we could have had those parts the first time around. My E-Superion may have actually gotten combined more than twice.
