Though the company I work for, Fun Publications, is not associated with Toy Hunters, the segment did take place in my office so viewers will get a look at where I work and we do spend some time talking about the Transformers Collectors' Club and the amazing Transformers fandom.

I love talking shop with other collectors! Here Transformer expert Pete Sinclair shows off some of his prized pieces to myself and toy hunter counterpart Rob Meyer. - Jordan Hembrough
Pete shows me the finer points of collecting in volume! He has mastered the tricky art of displaying loose items with great finesse. What the cameras didn’t pick up: me knocking into the shelf after filming and watching them all come crashing down. Sorry, Pete!” - Jordan Hembrough
About Toy Hunter
Jordan Hembrough, a renowned toy dealer and ultimate toy hunter, takes toy picking to a new level as he takes on collections from some of the most popular cities on the East and West Coasts. His reputation for having the most sought-after, rarest finds has labeled him the "in-demand dealer" that everyone wants to have evaluate their stash.
In this season of the Travel Channel's Toy Hunter, Jordan finds the picks of a lifetime for struggling business owners, annual toy events and even a few celebrity collectors. He's out of his comfort zone, so he has to set his search into high gear. The stakes are higher, the haggles are tougher and the payoffs are much greater than before, because he's hunting for more than just himself -- this time, people's livelihoods are on the line if he doesn't deliver! It's a high stakes toy game with demanding players that could potentially set him up for life!
Will Jordan be able to track down the ultimate find that he needs? Will he be able to stand up to all the hype that is buzzing about him now?
Find out on Travel Channel's new series, Toy Hunter, which premieres on Wednesday, August 15 at 10|9c.

More or less. They did a few pilot episodes that have already aired, guess they were popular enough to green light a full season. They were pretty interesting. In one episode he sold a prototype of the mail away Boba Fett figure with the firing missile on commission for like 15K.

Pete's got a nice collection. Wasn't sure what to expect to see from it. Looks similar to my collection, but I'm assuming that most high end collections start to look the same after a while just with varying degrees of completeness, Lucky Draw Figures, prototypes, and one-of-a-kind items.
As for Pete's "purchases" on the show, he ended up with a Lucky Draw Superlink Rodimus Convoy and a Bumblejumper. I can never get over how much Lucky Draw figures go for. Maybe when I become a millionaire I'll have some interest in those, but they just don't do anything for me. All it took was seeing one gold chromed figure get removed from it's packaging and watching the gold chrome paint stick to the bubble to make me want to stay pretty far away from those things for the time being. The loose Bumblejumper figure he purchased was not worth the money at all. It might have been worth $60, but not $150 in that condition (loose arms, loose head, worn sticker ... oddly enough there's one on eBay right now in that condition which looks very similar but that's WAY too much for one in that condition).
Really makes me wish I had my stuff on display instead of mostly in storage. The lack of display would make most of you cringe, though I guess I look at the Seibertron.com galleries as my "display".
