Hey there! I stumbled across the Generations FoC Soundwave & Soundblaster today on the Toys"R"Us website. The way they were listed was kinda tricky. It didn't show up on searching "soundwave"...but when typing the name in the search it showed up. (guess it's because the name lists "Soundwave/Laserbeak". In case this is of interest to anyone!
Needless to say, my order was placed, and I already have my confirmation e-mail!
I peeked in the forums, but didn't see anything about this yet...so just thought that I would share the good news!

I sent this in to the NEWS on here but haven't seen it post yet...
While ordering Soundwave and Soundblaster, I noticed that FE Prime and Bulkhead were available too. I snatched mine up at the actual store, but I wanted to let y'all know they are on there at the moment for anyone that wants/needs to pick them up.
Happy Hunting!!!

Two of the same mold in the same wave?
Still, it's good to know that these guys are available.
I do like Soundwave.

My local TRU is terrible. I have another within 35 miles of me but not much better. I hope that the minion discs come in soon but could not pass up on this offer plus the free shipping. I'm not overly thrilled with these molds, but if this is the closest thing we are going to get to original G1 figure concepts then this will have to do. I wish Blaster and Grimlock were on the site as well but hopefully soon. I hope the quality issues on my Primes are not too bad. I saw one FE Bulkhead but he had stress marks on both hands, blotchy paint apps on shoulders, and a huge scratch across his face. Come on Hasbro...we deserve better. HTS has none of these on the site and the last figure on bought on the site (FOC Ultra Magnus had two rights fists and all Hasbro would do was send me a $10.00 coupon because they did not have anymore in stock). Not only is this an expensive hobby but the poor quality control and lack of distribution are taking all the fun out of the hunt.

Now I caved and bought both. (basically because I wanted both Laserbeak and Buzzsaw)
Curses, my wallet is foiled again.

I agree as well.
I have been donating Transformers to Toys For Tots the last 7 years...every year I give $300.00-$400.00 worth of unopened Transformer goodness. I would love to see the looks on the kids faces when they see real official Transformers toys and not the dollar store stuff...come on I know there are collectors out there sitting on years worth of collected in the box figures that have not seen the light of day since purchase ...give those figures a good home and a chance to actually be played with by kids who will love them as much as us!

Well, he looks better from the front than he does the side.
I've always wanted a Soundwave that could deploy his classic-named minions: as long as they look similar to the characters they're homaging, I'll eat them up in a matter of seconds!
...Not literally eat them. Plastic doesn't really taste all that great...

These things costs the same as a deluxe and really are not worth the money for what you get.
They do have really nice colours though.

It was the completest in me that broke down on these and the Soundwaves. Finally being able to have Classicverse versions of all of Soundwave's (and Blaster's) troops.
Up until now, it's been a trickle down method of getting them (cassette mode Ravage, Cybertronian Ratbat, Booster 10 filling in for Laserbeak).

My only real complaint is that Rumble and Frenzy don't resemble their G1 counterparts much... (looking at their chests, arms, legs, etc.) and with the sides of their heads being different colors — they really could pass for just about ANY other character or minicon. If you showed them to me as a prototype (without the color), I wouldn't have even been able to identify them.

Guess you didn't get the memo.
He doesn't come with one, other than the shoulder cannon. The rifle seen on the package is a preproduction prototype of Soundwave using what appears to be G1 Optimus's ion cannon as a stand in until they could come up with one. Seeing that they never figured it out...

Thanks for the heads up. That kinda blows, as the figure would look fantastic with a decent hand cannon and the gun is still featured in the instructions. I'll have to see if there's a DotM toy who needs relieved of a non-mechtech weapon, or if iGear's weapon box has anything accurate.

I'm just gunna use the Deluxe's rifle and see what happens. I may replace his shoulder cannon with the Deluxe's as well and see how that looks.
