No doubt - how old is Shia, anyway? Call me a prude, but my kid uses the kind of language he does before he's out on his own and he'll have my footprint anywhere it can be planted.

What I want to know is why people are so "offended" by "swear" words.
They are words, why do people feel the need to get their panties in a bunch over them

Try telling that to a black man when the word n***er is used. Words have histories and connotations that sometimes offend people. 'Midget' is just a word too but little people find it extremely offensive, almost akin to the n-word. I'm on your side to an extent though, people should be able to say what they want, but I also respect other people's views. I think that's all Spooner wants. Anywayzzzzzz....I haven't heard a Goo Goo Dolls song since 'Iris.' I hope they haven't turn into the sappy crap I hear on the radio everyday. We need a grunge revival.

Excellent job on explaining why some people are offended by some words. That's exactly how I feel, but have been unable to get the right words out. I'm a big guy, so you can throw the word "fat" and "lazy" up there for me!
As for the guest spots, I don't think I'll miss anything. I tuned into the SNL with Shia and he mentioned every movie (including Indy 4) byt Transformers. He probably will this time, but ehhhh....
