We have some disappointing news for those who ordered their Transformers Legacy Nacelle from Hasbro Pulse: they are cancelling those orders.
For those who ordered this figure from Pulse, Pulse began charging customers last week for Nacelle, which usually leads to a shipping email within a couple of days. However, overnight Pulse began sending out cancellation emails for Nacelle, including a later notice of refund for the order. One of those emails, from Seibertron user Mindmaster, is included below.
While we have no way of knowing for sure or confirming what the reason would be for these cancellations, there were reports emerging when Nacelle was originally shipping from Amazon of white puffy substances found on multiple figures, which has been suspected to be everything from materials to help the plastic leave its factory mold to actual mold itself, with no concrete answer or confirmation as to what the substance really is. Again, we do not know if that is the reason Pulse is cancelling orders, but it is worth noting here.
Let us know if you were one of the unlucky members to have your Pulse Nacelle cancelled. And if you were, Amazon still has him in stock should you still desire one.

Except that usually does not happen, this is the first case of Pulse charging people for a preorder and then having it cancelled up to 2 weeks after charging them (talked to a friend this morning who confirmed he was charged almost 2 week ago now). And historically, Pulse always has cancelled preorder stock plus some more available to purchase the Friday after it comes in stock.
Also, I now know of 5 people who have had theirs cancelled, and of them I know 3 are those who place preorders promptly, so I would doubt that all 5 would've been on the cutting room floor for fulfilled preorders.

It wouldn't be the first time. I had ordered two of the Studio Series Snarl figures. But Hasbro only delivered one, cancelled the second, and refunded the difference. I had thought that 'premier' membership on Pulse would mean that your orders were reserved in some way. I'm not sure exactly how Pulse amasses their inventory, but they definitely don't seem to have a lot of anything. And the in-demand items? You're lucky if you can even get one. Have they restocked Cosmos yet? Or the Centurion Drone weapon pack....?

They presumably would have cancelled them based on when they were ordered, and reported cancellations include people like me who ordered immediately after availability. Cancellation reports are incredibly widespread. Unless someone has confirmed Pulse shipped them Nacelle, I think the most likely explanation is that they cancelled the product on their end outright.

I do somewhat wonder if it has anything to do with the health concerns of the wing substance(mold or not), though I also doubt that being the case too. Maybe they just done goofed!

Yup and maybe that is why I dunno as that is what collectors are speculating, just spitballing here.

Nacelle is easy to get at Amazon.ca and Amazon.com.
Plus, the dirty ones may have been just a limited batch. Mine is pristine.

Still, why bother with Pulse when Amazon have plenty?
Especially for Canadians, who must pay 25$US of shipping minimum.

You can see video reviews for all those figures below.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:Bombshell completes the Legacy Evolution updates to the G1 Insecticons and I have to admit that I feel underwhelmed. Bombshell is a repaint/retool of Shrapnel and while it works well, I'm disappointed that we're denied three unique molds for the Insecticons. I do enjoy Bombshell and it's a worthy addition to your Insecticon army.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:If you were to ask me to list 10 figures that I don't think would get updates in a modern Transformers line, Detritus wouldn't make the list because I just wouldn't think of it. Imagine my surprise that our first experience with the SS86 Hound mold is Detritus here in the Legacy Evolution line. The mold is fantastic and the best modern Hound mold we've gotten, much easier to handle than the Masterpiece. While I can't say this is a must-have figure, if you want to experience the SS86 mold Detritus is a solid purchase, on sale, which will probably be before we see the release of Hound.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:Shadow Striker is a great figure but there are lots of little things going on with it that might turn some people off. First, I feel labeling the figure from the Cyberverse Universe is a disservice as the use of this mold is clearly meant to homage the TFCC convention exclusive. That leads to the second point, this mold is meant for Robots In Disguise Sideburn who we know is coming at a later point. With that said I find it hard to recommend this figure since once Sideburn is released most of this version will become redundant.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:What some new parts and paint can do for a mold is fantastic. Elita-1 and Minerva were ok, but Strongarm is the best use of this mold. Outside of an entirely new mold, this is the best modern interpretation of Strongarm we'll get and it's my favorite figure of the wave.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:It's incredible how some different colors can make you appreciate a mold and realize what it's for. While we all thought that the mold was intended for Tarn, with these new colors and details of the mold pop, I believe that Bludgeon was the intended use all along. I also have to point out that a Voyager Transformer has enough articulation to do a proper two-handed sword pose, something that figures double or triple the price can't do. If you tend to favor Tarn then I'm not sure I can recommend the double dip, but this is the best Bludgeon figure since the original G1 mold.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:It's nice to see Hasbro reach across all Transformer lines for Legacy. Prime was an exciting show coming in the wake of the live-action movies. Skyquake and Dreadwing were two of the stand-out characters from the show and it's nice to see them in Evolution. The base mold that they share is meant to homage the Predator Skyquake, a character from the European Generation One period. Skyquake and Dreadwing are fun figures and either or both would fit well in your collection.

I searched around to see if anyone had any more interesting combinations, and I found nothing.
So I tinkered a bit, and came up with this, completely unofficial, but improved (In my opinion) Junkasaurus.
I used a Trashmaster, an Axlegrease, and a Scraphook, along with all of their components.
If anyone has any other cool Junkions combos, I'd love to see them! (I still have yet to find any really good 'Evo-Fusion' ideas for Trashmaster's parts, other than just swapping out the trucks front end)
I found this design on Reddit, which uses all components from Trashmaster, Scraphook, and Crashbar. I think it works well.

Core Energon Megatron looks great, in cartoon colors, has his tank sword and wing guns.
Tasmania Kid is amazing! Done in a sort of cartoon style.
Apparently the Rocks aren't Rocklords so much as rock vehicles, apparently inspired from rock beings from Transformers Headmasters. They're modular and transform, except for the Core Bouldercrash which turns into a weapon instead of armor.
Deluxe Magneous is neat, looks like a rocky Junkion. Just a really cool looking figure!
Deluxe Animated Bumblebee we've seen.
Deluxe Rescuebots Chase is a surprising figure. Teased a second use something amazing.
Deluxe Cyberverse Windblade is OK, but the proportions are weird, especially the jet.
Voyager Thundertron is nice, more articulated than the original. Mention Zoid Liger inspiration.
Voyager Animated Optimus Prime we've seen. Lightbar is removable.
Leader Tiger Hawk looks cool in bot mode, beast mode has really scrawny back legs. Cartoon colors!
Leaders now have open boxes like the rest of the figures!
Talking about Robosen Grimlock now.
Talking PulseCon exclusive Hot Shot.
Hall of fame is up:
Human - Takio Ejima
Evolution figure - Armada Optimus Prime
RID Character - Sky-Byte
Q&A
Can we get Prime video game characters in Gamer Edition - absolutely
Best Dinobot - All three gushed over a figure that hasn't been revealed (SS86 Swoop most likely).
Deathsaurus update - Figure is in production, have their sample at the RI offices (they're in MA), video coming.
Transformers HasLab in 2023 - No, maybe next year.

Which is odd. Considering the alteration to the design aesthetic made with the Beast Era figures so far ala Kingdom and Legacy. Featuring more "realistic" Beast Modes.

- Poster that shows Magmatron and Tidal Wave among many other new faces. They're probably the Commander and Titan, respectively.
Core class
- Energon Megatron - cartoon-based colors, tank-sword, "if you like Energon or Superlink, let us know and we might make more"
- Beast Wars Tasmania Kid - Evan corrected himself that it is "Beast Wars Second" not "Beast Wars Two", and noted that this figure also works as Snarl, realistic Tasmanian devil sculpt
- Infernac Universe Armorizer Bouldercrash - rock-based motorcycle bot, based on rock creatures from The Headmasters episode "My Friend Sixshot", and slightly from Rock Lords, can convert into a rock weapon, Armorizers are the new gimmick toys like the other "-izer" figures, based on red quartz rock
- Infernac Universe Armorizer Magneous - solid black rock truck bot, similar to Scraphook's altmode
- Animated Universe Bumblebee - the figure we've seen already, originally had a different head design that wasn't Animated enough, final head hues closer to Derrick J. Wyatt's style
- Rescue Bots Universe Chase - looks like a retool of Earthrise Runabout/Runamuck, they hint at something else big planned for this figure to be revealed six months from now
- Cyberverse Universe Windblade - looks like just the traditional Windblade design rather than anything particularly Cyberverse-based, but really good, fan-blades spin around to let people choose between the silver or black sides of the fan-blades
- Prime Universe Thundertron -looks pretty close to his original design, and actually looks like a better figure than the original, really big shoulder pads but no vertical claws on them, they compare him to a Liger from Zoids
- Animated Universe Optimus Prime - they acknowledged the choice to go without the mouthplate for this one, was "essential" for them get the blue and red tints on his lightbar, wanted to conceal the front wheels as much as possible
- Tigerhawk - show-accurate purple instead of blue, called a Fuzor repeatedly, Kingdom sculping, very show-accurate robot mode, they acknowledge the lack of shiny paint ("We'll get there!")
- Laser Optimus Prime rerelease - open-window box so you can see the figure this time
PulseCon exclusive
- Powerlinx Hot Shot & Jolt - Jolt was colored orange because he was orange in the cartoon, Hot Shot has a new connection point on his back that the first release didn't have
Q&A
- There is a game for TF: Prime. Could we get Prime characters in SS: Gamer Edition? - Absolutely. Studio Series at this point, it could be anything.
- Who is the best Dinobot? - Evan likes Sludge, but everyone always says Grimlock.
- Any news on HasLab Deathsaurus? - He is in production, an unboxing video is coming soon.
- Any HasLab for Transformers this year? - Nope! Next year, however, is the 40th anniversary, and an "omega-type reveal" is coming.

- First, and this is very important to point out, MAGMATRON!!!!!!!
- Tasmania Kid has turned out great, it looks different enough that I can't tell if it's an original mould or a very heavy retool of Kingdom Rattrap. Either way I might get him.
- The Rocks are definitely not what I imagined, the designs are nice and creative, and it's neat that they took inspiration from Japanese G1 for them. I probably won't buy any of them, but they do look very cool.
- I'm pleasantly surprised by Thundertron, I did think he was going to be a heavy retool of Lio Convoy, so not only am I happy that he's an original mould, but he looks pretty damn good too. I'm definitely buying one, and I can't wait for the other Star Seekers.
- I'm also definitely buying both Animated Optimus and Bumblebee, I'm not 100% decided on Windblade because I'm not a huge fan of the character but the toy does look decent, and while I'm not a big enough Rescue Bots fan to buy Chase, I do think that mould would make a good Evergreen style Barricade.
- The United artwork confirms that we are definitely getting Tidal Wave (in show colours to boot!) and he is able to combine with Megatron, that's one I'm very excited about!
- Tigerhawk does look a bit odd, I don't like the chicken legs or that weird looking tiger head. I feel as if I should buy him because I have Transmetal 2 Megatron, but I'm undecided as of yet.
- Finally, and this is extremely important to point out,
MAAAAAAAGMAAAAAAAATROOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!!!!

The alt mode is still fairly realistic, but the bot mode proportions feel a little more cartoon like to me. I wish he was done in black instead of gray like the toy, but I'm sure Takara will give us the right colors since only his bot shoulders are visible in alt mode, they can still make him two toned brown. I really like the way he turned out.

Tasmania Kid: I adore it, he looks good, glad to see more smaller beasts being used for Core class.
Energon Megatron: He looks neat! I like the design, and I have the OG legends Cybertron megatron, so he will go good paired up with that Megatron.
Bouldercrash: I didn't know what to expect, but he looks really interesting, they got me with the armorizers.
Magneous: same as bouldercrash, but I like him more, I love the wheelpecks
Bumblebee: already shared thoughts, but I dig him
Chase: he feels a bit off to me, like he needed the flared boots like Bee did. I wonder what could be so huge from his mold to mention that 6 months early.
Windblade: nothing really screams "cyberverse" to me, but she looks good, and I will gladly let her go with Bee and Shadowstriker on the Cyberverse shelf.
Prime: already said how much I love him, well done.
Thundertron: looks really solid, I like it a lot. He still feels super random in terms of getting another toy, but they nailed him.
Tigerhawk: I am so unbelievably happy he is happening, my favorite Beast finally gets another chance!
The poster: Titan Tidal Wave, about what I expected and I am glad for it. Commander Magmatron is out of left field, but super awesome! Love that we will get that!
2024 Haslab prediction: Animated Omega Supreme or RiD2001 Omega Prime.

I hadn't considered Omega Prime. I suppose he could work for the 40th anniversary. But it was said at some point that the next HasLab wouldn't be an Optimus, and Omega is made of an Optimus.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:2024 Haslab prediction: Animated Omega Supreme or RiD2001 Omega Prime.
Conversely, Animated Omega checks the "not an Optimus" box, but doesn't really seem representative of the 40th anniversary, which the HasLab will be celebrating.

Wheelpecks, n., pectoral muscles formed by the combination of fenders and wheels on the chest of a Transformer. Like with all of the robotic muscles on characters from the Infernac universe, Magneous's are rock-hard.
Love it.

Magmatron is a must for me if it is a decent toy. one of the few beast figures I never had the original or rerelease of back when all the 'dinobots' and other beastmachine figures were dirt cheap.
Tigerhawk might get some loving form has..third party companies to give it the old toy bird hood. Looks liek a buy even though I passed on TM2 megatron.
Piratecat looks pretty zoid like but I think I'll wait for an energon Ravage repaint.
Windblade is an easy pass, when you have one windblade you have all the windblades needed.
Chase might get reused for a collab? Dunno, he looks cool enough to pick up anyways. *I cant unsee him as t.j hooker. just needs a shatner head.
I'm liking the rock guys but thinking transparent plastic would help them look more crystally and shiny rather than them just going lava/obsidian. Shame we neever got to see what the eenergon monsters would have been like.

We won't know until next year, but I don't find this logic convincing. If they wanted to tease Cybertron or Primus, there are dozens of better teases they could've done than a reference to Omega Lock, especially since Omega suggests multiple more plausible answers.
