Hasbro releases 2008 Universe and Movie Toy details

This Press Release has listed the upcoming products for both the Universe and Movie lines, general release time information, and an approximate price for each Class of figures.
The first Wave of Universe figures is set to arrive in stores in Fall (Spring in the Southern Hemisphere), with Deluxes to retail for US$9.99, Ultras for US$26.99 and Robot Heroes for US$5.99.
The New Movie toy still to be released for 2008 are the Movie Blasters. Both the Ratchet and Bumblebee Blasters feature electronic lights and sounds, and will retail for US$19.99, and will sell alongside continued Movie figures in the Deluxe, Leader and Screen Battle classes.
Hasbro have also issued over 230 licenses to support the Transformers brand, licenses range from apparel, food stuffs, stationary, electronics and health and beauty products.

More Robot Heroes will be cool though, but the mainline movie stuff needs to finish already, and I'm really not that interested in Universe...

That news made my day, seriously. I'm tired of all these Movie-verse Robot Heroes that don't even look like themselves. The G1 RH toys had a way of capturing the bots personalities that I couldn't get enough of.

Just that the First few Waves of Universe don't have any figures in that size class. However, that doesn't mean future waves can't or won't have figures in that size class.

Lol cyber slammers megatron. i just imagined it. a giant blob of melted plastic on wheels that opens up. Worst idea ever.
Starscream would be... interesting.
