well think of it like this, will you find a better deal in the wild? if you get them on HTS you get them for less than if you would at like walmart or target. i got both for 34 bucks. in the wild you would pay like 40+ for both.

Yes, you can, but you have to call them on the phone. It's easy though, and they have good customer service. I've done exactly what you describe several times: preordered on HTS, found it "in the wild", bought it, and then canceled the HTS preorder before it shipped.

I love the smell of affordable plastic crack in the morning...made my Tuesday for $33.98.
Scored both DD and Rhinox even after 5,000+ views from fellow Seibertronians...glad to know that there are fewer out there with love for beasts and repaints (more for us
). Rhinox is pure awesomeness...was on the fence about DD but like the color scheme and will just keep him in the box rather than trying to fix the shoulder problem and fiddling with other issues. Rhinox will be opened and displayed proudly

I have absolutely no interest in anything to do with the Beast-era Transformers as I think it was the worst idea anyone could have thought of doing, but as we are now getting some of the old characters let out from the Zoo appearing in the comic books, I feel I must pick up the figures, for completists sake of course.
Its a shame the U.K. doesnt get offered some Transformers loving such as this voucher offer. Heck, we dont even have a Hasbro Toy Shop to order direct from!
Guess we'll have to make do with our laminated book of dreams! #Argos

This is PERFECT! Even as a kid I use to hate the deluxe Rhinox figure due to it's poor design and bad scale (he's Megatron's size in the show). This is going to be a great addition to my modest Beast Wars collection and at a great price too. Please keep us posted with anymore good deals. Can't wait till they ship this.

Wow, thanks for the heads up on this. Just locked in my Doubledealer for $16.95 total! Walmart here is charging $22.96 for Generation voyagers, so this is a heck of a deal and saves me the hassle of hunting for one when they finally drop.

Or some random Micromaster who had a jet alt but came with a base that turned into something tank-ish.
I just never liked Double Dealer. I loved all the other Nebulon ______-master figures, but his gimmick just overrode character logic even by their standards. He was the first TF toy I ever had zero desire to own.
And yet...I'll still probably get this anyway.

I'm only now just noticing that there seems to be a a lot of gears in Rhinox's upper torso, indicating a likely automorph mechanism... and it disturbs me since it seems the lower beast jaw seems to be part of it, and I'm a bit concerned that the 
face in beast mode will be stuck like that if the jaw is part of that geared setup and can't go up any further because of it.
I'd be inclined to agree with you, if I didn't think the choice of flying alt mode was a major improvement over the ugliest bird in existence.

Looking at the Autobot and Decepticon logos on each of DD's vehicle modes. So apparently he only is a tank when he is working for the Autobots and a jet when working for the Decepticons.
I get this is an update of the original Doubledealer concept, but I always thought the mode per faction thing was the least-sensical. Should've left the insignias off him altogether.

Double Dealer was one of my favorite G1 toys growing up and seeing him redone as this? Just sucks to be honest. the alt-modes suck, the colors are wrong, and outside of the headsculpt...none of it really says double dealer. To be honest the head sculpt isnt even that great.

i know I am in the monority on this one, but I am really digging Doubledealer. As a kid I loved his bot mode( except for the sideways Mickey Mouse ears) and the missile carrier was cool, but I hated the buzzard/mutant rooster mode. For me, the colors are great and really look good on the mold. Admittedly, the mold itself has plenty of issues, but since my biggest personal issue with Blitzwing was the head, this repaint works out pretty well for me. I just enjoy getting some less mainline characters thrown in, even just as repaints.

I love the paint job on Double Dealer. The reason I'm not buying it is because I have Blitzwing and I don't like the mold.
Now that being said, if I see it in person in a store, I will probably break down and get it anyway.

What color was he? I checked out some images and a clip from the cartoon, but they were so dark I couldn't make out the colors.

I think you just need to replace the greyish animal hide parts with a reddish brown and the gold chrome lining parts with silver. However, TFWiki says it is purple and silver.

If it's purple and silver, sign me up. But when you say "replace the greyish animal parts with reddish brown" I'm a bit confused. The only parts that look grayish are his horns and toes. The rest is tan.

That's not worth a repaint.
If they're going to do something else with this mold, I'd rather see a repaint/remold homaging one of these guys:
