Chief among the new figures to be stocked is Titans Return Slugslinger, that pesky final member of the 1987 seeker targetmaster squad who has evaded several collectors. Slugslinger currently sits at the $16.99 price point and is in stock as of this writing.
Other figures have also made their way onto the stores site and are available as well. Pesky Decepticon repaint Quake has now come in stock, as has Kup and strangely enough Voyager Galvatron has come back in stock.
With Power of the Primes beginning to hit retail, are these the last of the Titans Return figures you need before moving onto the next line? Have these guys evaded you forever and are now finally in your grasp? Let us know if you managed to get a hold of these guys, or any other figures for that matter, in our Toy Haul Thread.

I thought that was very odd as well. Someone in my area spotted them once, but that was it. I never saw them at retail and had to order them from online stores (BBTS, A3U, etc). I wonder if they'll show up at Ross or TJMaxx.

Were those hard to find? Clobber is still choking shelves at the store down the street from my house. Horri-Bull and Squeezeplay were less common, but I saw them at multiple stores.

I started too late with them, around Wave 3 with Sawback, Nightbeat and Loudmouth. Here in the Dallas area we're cleaned out of Titan Masters. Some leftovers at Target and TRU of the last two waves before Ramhorn, but that's it.

A lot of stores skipped TM wave 2 (Clobber, Skytread, Apeface, Brawn) in favor of revision wave 2 (Apeface, Brawn, Nightbeat, and Loudmouth). I've never seen Clobber in person, he was never reissued in a later wave (Skytread was back in wave 4), he's the only single release TM I'm missing.
Also my experience was that TMs sold pretty quickly. At most they'd linger for a couple weeks and be gone. Target restocked wave 3 about 2 weeks before Christmas, but before that I hadn't seen anyone carry them since around September. Walmarts here never restocked when they stuck them on clearance late in the summer.

Man, Brawn and Nightbeat were the worst shelfwarmers, and I swear they were in every wave/revision afterwards because there was always more and more sitting on the pegs as the months went by

And if you want to get technical Buzzsaw and Cogman are sort of Titans Return but in different lines.
This is part of why I'm going Takara for Perceptor, Overlord, Octane and Blitzwing so while I don't have those yet I will in a few months also the latter 3 actually come with more things then their Hasbro versions.
The only one I've actually missed that I'm unlikely to find in stores anymore is Terri-bull and I would love to know where I could buy him as a Canadian.

Might not want to mention that first name to non fans lol.
Repungus also works pretty well on that body too if you haven't tried it yet.

Someone at TFW reported it early this morning. Just got my order in, with a prime master to qualify for free shipping. I can totally see this selling out real soon.

Heh not paying too much attention I guess. My inbox is blowing up because of the TFW notifications on this figure. I guess cuz of how it's tagged on Seibertron I wasn't getting the same notifications. Oh well, hope everyone that wants one can get it now. Kind of impulse bought it myself.

Best way to solve that is to just unsubscribe from TFW, you don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Did you check the back of his head? Sounds like there's an issue with the notches in the back, or there's some sprue flash there.
My Dreadnaut's arm left arm is really loose when in any vertical position, but tight horizontally. Very peculiar.

I looked and after careful consideration I realized 2 things:
1 - You gotta line it up real square to get it to fit right. Take your time with it and there is no need to press hard.
2 - Unlike Furos, the Titan Master's head needs to face backwards while the actual robot head goes forwards.
The arm troubles could just be due to gravity. I have some wrestling figures like that. If I raise their arm to hold a title belt the ball joint gets maxed out and the arm lowers by itself. Never had an issue with holding his arms out sideways or forwards.

That's the standard way of doing it, really, so the clamps can grab the notches in the back of the head. Reversing the head is more of a improvised fix to make the fit better.

Anyway, no pics at the moment but Scrounge from the Computron boxed set was a retool of Generations Cosmos. Cosmos from Generations won’t fit on Computron’s arm.
But Titans Return Cosmos has Scrounge’s retooling rather than Generations Cosmos’. So he can combine with Computron or sit on a 5mm port.
And TR Cosmos is $3 at most nearby Target’s right now.

I'll make comments about the dinobots in the appropriate thread and let you know what I think about Windblade here when I get her next week. I have to admit I am looking forward to how she will look with the Reprolable stickers as much as I hate applying stickers (I managed to do a good job with TR Megatron and boy to do those stickers make a difference though the wing stickers cover up beautiful mold detail and I don't find them necessary). I wish I could have also ordered Swoop but at that time his price skyrocketed due to low supply. I expect the price to normalize once he is restocked.
I'm still hoping HTS will restock before my order ships so I can tweak that in conjunction with my HTS coupon and their free shipping minimum.
For now it looks like Windblade will be my last TR figure as Twin Twist is too expensive. If he cost the same as Windblade I probably would have eaten the markup with him as well on the same order. I am debating completing TR with Grotusque from TRU or possible Arcee since I have Hot Rod and Chromedome and wouldn't mind evening out my 's with two females to two males. I also want one more to even out my deluxe/voyager total numbers with my 's (Galvatron, Megatron, Scourge and Triggerhappy). Unfortunately I only have one Titan Master (Fangry) vs. 3 's (Sawback, Shuffler and Ramhorn). I had terrible luck with the two Titan Masters I picked up and had to return them.
From here on out I'll just continue to be patient and hope for the right sale on the right figure to sort of even things out, though having two voyager 's and no 's that large does make things interesting. Still, I am sort of regretting not grabbing Arcee when she was on sale, but I'm more attached to Grotusque as I had his G1 toy and I really like Thrilling 30 Arcee. However I do like TR Arcee's pistols.
I thought my legends class figures would only skew (Bumblebee and Brawn) but with Kickback released and in my collection and the other Insecticons getting re-released as part of PotP they may even out when I get Slash or outnumber my 's if I am still able to get Chop Shop on HTS when they are restocked with the other figures I want.
Time and money will tell as it always does when collecting on a budget.

Where have you heard that all the Insecticons will be reissued under Power of the Primes? So far as we know, Shrapnel is it. Kickback was just released last year and was plentiful in stores for several months. Bombshell might get a re-release, but I don't recall him being too hard to find during Combiner Wars either. If we get any more releases in the Legends size class in PotP, I would imagine it would be another figure that was realtively scarce during Thrilling 30, like Gears.

I don't remember the article I read way back when Skrapnel was announced. I'm pretty sure Bombshell was mentioned as being re-released there as well but my memory could be wrong. I hope it's not. I suppose I'll need to keep an eye out for a good deal on Bombshell in case my memory is wrong about that announcement. However, I think I'm remembering this because Hasbro was committing to all the Insecticons with warning so those of us who missed out or didn't bother because we only wanted all or nothing would start with Kickback and get the others in the next line.

Early on during Titans Return when Kickback was announced I believe, rumors of Insecticon re-releases and Deluxe Insecticon retools (thanks to CW Chop Shop) started showing up. Naturally, none came to pass, but a big but should be mentioned: it's quite possible the Deluxe Insecticons Barrage and Ransack are alternate toolings for Bombshell and Kickback respectively. That said, none have been officially announced or hinted towards: we know up to Wave 3 of PotP, and no Insecticon in sight.

Thank you for the clarification. Worst case I'll have to find Bombshell another way that hopefully won't cost me too much more than MSRP. I may even be able to get him for less from a local store.
What I really wanted to do was release the three insecticons as a premium set with a unified G1 paint scheme and chromed parts. I won't be surprised if that happens a few years from now but by then I will hopefully have my insecticons and considering the price of a set like that I cannot afford to double dip.
I've been kicking myself for not getting Bombshell way back during CW. I wasn't collecting legends class characters at the time as was still figuring out what to do with that class. I'm glad they upgraded it to the old scout class for minibots. I'm quite happy with Bumblebee (and accept the flaws of the size), Brawn (absolutely brilliant) and now Kickback.
The thing about Bombshell is (as Chefatron figured out onscreen during his review) the toy can transform into a decent weapon. I'm also kicking myself for not getting PG when I got Superion. At the time I was still upset PG wasn't upgraded to a deluxe limb since he would be perfect for that feature. I'm kind of hoping will re-release legends class PG down the road like they have been doing with some other older legends class figures, though I think that has to do with people skipping over those figures (like Skrapnel and Cosmos) because was't clear on what the new legends class was at the time.
I also hope gives us legends class Cliffjumper at some point in the near future. The BB mold isn't perfect but Roadburn showed us how much better the mold looks in red. As I have no connection to that character I passed on him. But the BB mold in red with a new head for Cliffjumper would be an instant buy for me, and if they could make an alteration of some sort to the spoiler that would be a bonus. I would no be surprised if also released the mold as Goldbug at some point, but again that's not a character I need to have.
Whatever happens at least I'm getting Dinobots, so all is good.
P.S.
Lot's of wishful thinking in the post above.

I absolutely adore how he looks in every mode. The colour work and sculpting is just to die for. His robot mode is imposing as hell, helped by the pretty awesome headsculpt. He has a great silhouette, and he looks so wonderfully evil. Also, almost no exposed hollow bits! Hooray!
Articulation has its hangups (knees are a bit limited, and the waist really could have been articulated) but overall he's fine. The ankles are superb. His shoulders are a tad loose but that's fixable.
His accessories are a little disappointing (but only a little). His gun is fine, if a bit small, but it has to be the tank gun so I'm cool with it. The shield though, it seems kinda pointless. I don't much care for it. I would have liked it if he'd come with a sword or something. Oh well, Shapeways to the rescue!
The stickers kinda suck but they're very small and unobtrusive so I can deal with it.
The transformation is very interesting. Simple enough that I worked it out without instructions (the new instructions are so, so bad) but complex enough to be fun and effective. I like how the turret halves flip out of the leg cavities especially. Collapsing the arms is a bit of a bear though.
The vehicle modes are great. The jet mode is a big, badass Cybertronian gunship, and the tank mode is just gorgeous. I wish the turret could turn or the gun could elevate, but I don't really care that much. The tank is probably my favourite of the two vehicles actually, I just love how it looks. The jet mode is great too, if a bit kibbly. The "airlift" mode is cool too, though a bit silly looking perhaps.
I haven't worked out how to do the base mode yet so I'll reserve judgement on that for the while.
Overall though? I dig him. He and Blaster (who I still have yet to acquire) were the only TR Leaders I wanted, and I'm thoroughly impressed with him. I have no attachment to the character, but he's just so cool. I'd recommend him to anyone, honestly. I probably won't get Overlord, as I don't like how he looks as much and I don't like doubling up on molds (I might get one of the 3P versions if I really feel the need for an Overlord) but I'm super glad I got a version of the mold.
So yeah. Sky Shadow is awesome.

If you like the base modes for the TR leaders, then I would actually recommend doubling up with Overlord as his base mode is quite a bit different than Sky Shadow, and better in my opinion. The other fun part about doubling up on this mold is for the "pants swap" option between the 2.
But if you don't really care about either of those and have no attachment/need for Overlord, then I agree you got the better of the 2 versions based on the robot mode alone.

I could imagine him being easily retooled into Warpath. Just put a stubby cannon barrel into the skull like bunker looking chest detail and give it a hinge to flip up for robot mode. The back could alos be retooled in a turret and the just mentioned cannon barrel in the front hidden in tank mode to give him a fake transformation of the cannon barrel if Hasbro really wants to put some effort into the retool. But for now that's just hypothetical. I would buy him

As they do accessories now, too they could make a new face for chasm. They already made a face plate for CW Trailbreaker to convert him into The Fallen/Megatronus so there's already a precedent.

That's actually not a bad idea.
