We want to share the next generation of headrobots so there is time to buy the bodies.
For darksol, the head and figure can now turn into bat. It will come with a cape, there are a lot of parts and it is still being refined, you can see some of our development and how dramatically parts change, this has been in refinement for over a year and it will keep getting refined until we are happy.
Savant is complete though no tooling has been started.
We are excited to announce a limited run of Courageous recolor of Centurion. Like the Gyro resin kit this is limited to 200 pieces to megatoyfan. Unlike Gyro this is injection molded ABS plastic on clamshell with exclusive card. The set comes with two heads, two head adaptors, and a blue colored clear sword. For last year a lot of people were upset about not being able to buy, this year keep in mind:
FRIDAY, MARCH 30. Sales start 3 PM central time. Courageous will be listed up in batches throughout the day and into Saturday if necessary.

Couragous doesn't interest me, hopefully the others will see a wider release.

EDIT: Hmm, just realized Vorath doesn't have a robot mode.... don't know if I like that too much

Check Targets and Walmarts, I just found Skyhammer for $15 last week at a Target.
May try to find another one now.

Same here. Both Darksol & Savant look potentially really cool, but too bad both figures are the completely wrong color for the homages.

Now might be a good time, are you listening Hasbro??? You too can profit off 3rd parties. Unlike Hardhead where the upgrade came out when the figure was mostly off shelves. Now if you put out the repaint to take advantage of the upgrade you can sell a lot of figures. However it wont happen because it would be like condoning 3rd party practices.

Well, I thought they already did that and that was why we got that Battle In Space pack with that ugly Hot Rod to put on Protector armors.

Battle in Space 2-pack. Hasbro's done that before.

Anyone know if there is another mold than Universe Onslaught variants that has the same head plug that would work with most Headrobot kits?

Savant looks cool too. So, HR is really trying to get us new versions of all HeadMasters. Woo!

Yea but come on, you of all people, MUST HAVE THIS SET!

Which is why I am getting all my major criticism in now, while they are still perfecting, so I get exactly what I want and don't have to comprimise

I have no probs with sacrificing the copter for Highbrow, I'm sure Hasbro will release a repaint in better colours anyway down the line.

If someone would just mass-produce something similar to what MaidenJapan is doing, then yeah, that's a no brainer.

Yep, I have all of MaidenJapan's stuff except for the latest head and waist armor, which I have an order in for. It's awesome stuff, but it takes a loooooong time to get your parts. I fully understand why, but if Headrobots put out a set I would be all over it.

Two of the coolest figures to come from the movie line are now getting even cooler. I need a back up Mindwipe now.

I'm not going to bother picking up another Mindwipe or Skyhammer. With these upgrades they will earn the prestigious honor of relocating from the "movies" shelves to the "classics" shelves. No greater achievement can be earned by a movie figure.

They just fixed that.
Awesome.
(They need to mold a plug to cover up the hole for his old rotors though)

That's not a bad idea either.... that role is currently being played by my Classics Ratbat from the 2 pack.

My only problem with this is that what originally drew me to Skyhammer was the wicked backswept rotary blades on his torso.

Perhaps but seeing as though that Hot Rod wasn't colored for the protector armor, I don't count that. I just chalk that up to happy coincidence.

I was impressed when I got Blood, hooked when I got Butcher, and psyched to hear about the Bonzaitron upgrade.
Now these? I'm all in. I've got my two Mindwipes... just need an extra Skyhammer

So this..!!!
The transition from Movieverse to Classics has become a more entertaining option since the addition of add-on sets and such like (Hello Shapeways!).
These look superduper!
The Mindwipe upgrade looks freakin awesome, loving the 'Bat' mode and that head is a treat!
I love Skyhammer in his current mode but the cheeky upgrade to Highbrow is a great idea. With reference to a repaint, there was a KO of Skyhammer floating around in white. A touch up with some blue paint would make this homage update spot on in my opinion, although tracking said KO down is another thing!

You can take apart his cockpit canopy and paint it in transparent red. I'm sure that'll help ignore the different blue.

I placed a huge order in September and I recieved only one half of it last month. I give him a free pass because he is willing to customize your order if you dont mind the wait.

Of course, all this is hypothetical at this point. They have no intention of releasing them anytime soon, after all.

Actually I meant because mine got a damaged leg in the shelf-alanche of '11 and I haven't tried fixing yet.

Oh no that sucks! Better get one now. If these upgrades do indeed get produced, the cost of both Mindwipe and Skyhammer is going to climb seriously.
I feel your pain about the shelves. A while back I thought it would be cool to display all my figures with their spring loaded weapons charged right? Looked cool. Until one day my cat rubbed up on a shelf, firing a missile across the room that started in international shelf incident. After 2 hours of cleanup and rearranging, the only victim was my G1 Spinister who had to be replaced, but it was terrifying watching a missile fly across the room knocking figures off of shelves and chain reacting more missiles.
