As far as I'm aware there is no international shipping available from them anyhow, you're going to have to rely on a third party to order it for you.Craven Knight wrote:Does the ToyHobbyMarket site have an english version? I can't read moonspeak

Huh... suck - Say Tekka, You don't know anyone in Japan do you?
I hate to think what TFSource and *shudder* BBTS will charge for these, a two pack for $80 I could handle - maybe?

I caved in and got Botcon Thundercracker with no plans to get Thrust or Dirge, but eventually my desire to complete the set grew to the point where I gave in and got them too.
Even if you start with just Starscream and Ramjet, the potential desire to spend your money completing the set will always be there, as you are demonstrating now. If your will isn't that strong I suppose you should be more worried.
For me it went like this:
"Skywarp, yay."
"Guess I'll get Starscream as well."
"Hmm, maybe I'll make a Classics collection."
"Go on then I'll fork out the money for Thundercracker..."
"Eh... I suppose I should get Thrust and Dirge too."
"Ahh, my credit card."

Now Skywarp and Thundercracker are getting a release albeit a fairly limited one in the Henkei line I'll get Starscream to complete the original trio but will only get Ramjet if Thrust and Dirge also get released as Henkei exclusives.

Like I said, my contact is in Japan, but he's military; our military & just currently stationed in Tokyo. His address is an APO AP address, will they ship to that?
So exactly how do I register on those sites? What buttons do I push in what order? Can I fill out my information, but just list my contact's address as the address to ship to?
Like, basically, can anybody walk me through this step by step, using my contact, who is stationed in Tokyo, Japan on our (American) military base?

I think I will get acid storm, if that's his name. I love Seekers.... Just a bit of a nut.

Brave Transformers, RID, BWII, and BWNeo have been done for Korea due to the fact that they were shown "late" over in Korea.
I owned several reissues from the Brave Series, and they were a million time better than the crappy KO's floating around. YEah there are some QC issues, but still for a cheaper price, you can find some hard to find RID, BWII, and BWneo toys.
Brave, well there staring to get a little scarce, and please don't have any real Takra boxes for Brave, you can make some serious dough.

This would go along with the exclusive nature of the figure, but would blow donkey *blank* on the chance at getting even one.

No proof, but I’m betting it’ll be unlimited. They ship in September and that’d be plenty of time to make however many are ordered.
Somehow I’d be seeing July if it was limited.

There's gotta be some catch to that. I understand that its a Japan only thing, but I can't see these being super produced figures.
Remember, TT avoided doing alot of SW TC figs when the Robotmasters versions tanked big. Those guys aren't as in demand there as they are here.

I just had a guy walk me all the way through ordering Skywarp. Tomorrow, he's gonna walk me through ordering Thundercracker. That being said...
If you got enough translated to sign up for an account, and the only problem you're having is that the site won't accept English letters, then... Just Google translate what you're trying to type in to the box then copy & paste the translation into the box on the site.
Should work, right?

What will hurt your wallet is if you don't get in on them now. Once these get into the hands of online stores, expect Green Ehobby Ratchet prices to soar.

Yea I know, that's why it will hurt my wallet, all I need is a contact in Japan.

Did you guys use Rinkya? I got that link from someone earlier on this thread.
I'm using them for the first time, and have not heard back yet. They say to wait 48 hrs.
I've got my fingers crossed.

I've placed an order at two different companies, the one that got back to me faster was actually not Rinkya so I haven't heard from them yet either. But normally they are very good to me so I'm sure they'll get back to us soon.rpetras wrote:Tekka wrote:Not yet. =( Guess you got lucky. Even though they are expensive I would like to get one from them anyway since they've done me a lot of favours, sometimes though I question the wisdom of my loyalty complex.

Bodhar2000 is also in Japan and he had it down to $125 a pair, $75 for one shipped. His information was somewhere in the tfw2005 75 page thread. He said he was limiting orders because of the hassle since this is his first time doing it so you can try to contact him also.
King Konvoy (sp?) on the tfw2005 thread also was offering it, don't know the details.

Masato got back to me within a day and he's currently checking out the details and will e-mail me with a total once he's got the order in. The cost of each figure works out at approx £15.26 plus approx £2.42 for shipping to Masato then there's his commission and whatever it costs him to ship the items to the UK.
These won't be the cheapest TF's I ever get but they'll still work out plenty cheaper than the Botcon set which is the main reason I'm getting them.
